This was a clear manufacturing defect, not standard wear-and-tear. I opened a support ticket and received explicit written instructions from their corporate online customer service team (Incident: 260529-002074) telling me to take the defective shoes to a local storefront for assistance. Trusting their official corporate directive, I drove 40 minutes each way to this specific location at Pinewood Square. The store manager and floor staff were aggressively rude, completely dismissive, and flatly refused to help. They hid behind a standard "60-day return window," entirely ignoring that a manufacturing defect bypasses retail return timelines, completely defying their own corporate office's orders. It gets worse. I called corporate phone support immediately after leaving the store empty-handed to figure out why I was given false information. The phone agent literally said to me: "We don't know the store has a 60-day return policy." If your own corporate customer service team has zero knowledge of your retail stores' policies, how is a customer supposed to know them? Online support lies to get you out of their queue, retail managers confront you aggressively in the store, and phone agents claim total ignorance to pass the buck. Some things I have in my home from there at all times are: applesauce, canned tomato products, cases of water, baby wipes, activia yogurts, bananas, canned beans, butter, eggs, chocolate chips and more. Prices on some things here are really good, much less than other stores and quality is good. If you like to bake then definitely get your stuff here like they have cartons of eggs for less than $1.
