This is the service and company to use for the occasional ski trip. They came to us with all the equipment and made sure sizing was correct. If after a day of skiing, we wanted or needed to change anything, they were just a text away. Returning equipment was just as easy, with no hauling into town, they again returned to us to pick up. So, you're on vacation. The prospect of delivery ski rentals sounds appealing, right? No lines. No hassle. Less to carry. Do NOT do it. This is possibly the worst rental service that I have ever seen [other than Columbine Ski and Sport in Dillon]. My mother recently visited Colorado, and opted to use this service. Two athletic-looking men fitted her for skis, and took off. They did the same for my step-father. Both parental figures were disappointed in the condition of their skis [just so YOU know, they only carry Rossignols, so you better like those], and NOTHING was done... until I called up EXTREMELY pissed off. This company broke appointments, gave my step-father broken skis, and fitted my mother with skis 5+ cm too long for her. All we received was a lame apology by two stoner-looking dudes, who were clearly too lazy to do their jobs. Or, if not too lazy, they just didn't care. It's hard to tell. My Floridian parents rely on HONEST assistance from local businessmen. They were NOT in any way given this. This place rips off tourists. At all costs, please do not use this service. read more

Getting our equipment delivered to our condo the night before our first day of skiing saved us time and let us get on the mountain the next morning with no lines or delays. These guys are on time, professional and show up when they say. Ski Butlers is so convenient, I'll rent with them again. Ski Butlers really is a hassle-free ski rental service. I filled out our information online, chose a time and place for Ski Butlers to deliver our skis. They were punctual, easy-going, and very helpful for first time skiers. The gear was good quality. We did have to change out some skis for one of our sons and we had several pick-ups as many of our group did not stay the entire time. We didn't have to make 10 trips to a rental store. Ski Butlers was super easy to deal with and made our trip just that much more enjoyable. I will definitely use Ski Butlers again if I need to rent skis!! read more

We had a large group of people in a house and they showed up with all the equipment - they fit all the kids, provided helmets, both snow boards and skiis. The technician arrived right on time was polite and professional. When we called for the equipment pickup, they were at the house within 90 minutes. Everyone I interacted with at Ski Butlers was super on top of things, friendly, and flexible. I was probably not the easiest customer because my own plans got screwed up on both ends, but the staff kindly accommodated me without making me feel like I was an inconvenience. Also, the equipment I got was great! I'm used to getting rental boots that are all worn out and uncomfortable, but these were as good as new and very comfy even after 3 days. Boooooo! I have been a loyal Ski Butlers customer for a couple years and have used them all over to rent skis. But, this year, my son and I decided to make a quick end-of-season trip to catch the great snow keeping A-Basin open so late. Of course, I went online to see if Ski Butlers was still taking reservations this late in the season and was so happy to see that they are! Unfortunately, the confirmation email meant nothing. No one showed to bring our skis and when I called, I was told they had closed at 4 pm today. Never deterred, I called the number on my confirmation email and got the same message. Then, I sent an email to the address on the confirmation... Thank goodness for an awesome Utah employee who either saw that email or picked up the Colorado voicemail message. Otherwise, we would still be sitting in our room waiting for a Breckenridge Ski Butler employee who would never come. This guy was apologetic, but can't do anything for us from Utah (not even recommend a local shop that might be open so we can ski in the morning). So, now we are stuck after normal business hours trying to determine where to drive in the morning to get some skis on the way to A-Basin. Tip to Ski Butlers: Don't take reservations when you have no employees left in the state of Colorado working. Don't send email confirmations to people you have no intent of providing skis to upon their arrival. Don't leave your voicemail recording the same as it was before you shut down for the season. Since we had a strange experience in Park City last year where our reservation was confirmed and then when I called to find out they were not coming as scheduled because they were "just too busy," this will sadly be the end of our run with what was a much-loved and previously highly recommended service. The people who bring your skis are great. This is clearly a company management issue and I don't know a way around that for the nice people who work for them. read more

A true pleasure having these guys & gals fit and deliver our ski equipment to our condo in Breck. What can I say, they were super nice and knowledgable. We got first class service. We had some flight delays and traffic headaches, so I called them like 3 times and they moved our appointment each time to suit our changing schedule. They begin delivery at 7 a.m. and end at 8 p.m. The skis, boots and poles were all brand new and really high quality. I would use them again and I really thought the cost was reasonable. They even offered to carry our skis down to our ski locker storage. We were on the 4th floor our locker was on the main floor. If your skis, poles or any equipment have any problems, you just call. They meet you on the mountain and exchange and replace at no extra cost. You can't go wrong. Than, they picked up our skis at our locker on Christmas Eve. Loved this service. read more

It was really nice how they came up to our room for the equipment fitting. They got us set up in about 30 min. That includes going back to the van to get a pair of kids ski socks. (I forgot to pack socks for my youngest.) Also, I broke off the plastic piece on my ski pole the first day. They came & put a new one on the next am. read more

When it was time to leave Breckenridge, all I had to do to "return" my skis was to leave my ski locker unlocked (Grand Lodge on Peak 7) and someone from Ski Butlers came and picked up my skis, poles, and boots while I was in town having dinner. Best idea ever! They came to our rental condo, fitted our boots and skis, and even came back to deliver a shorter set of skis as was my friend's preference. We left them outside our condo room the day of pickup and they just picked them up and that was it! No waiting in line at Breck for rentals, very reasonable price for the service. The people at Ski Butlers were extremely helpful even when I screwed up majorly and took someone else's skis back to my condo from the mountain (on accident). Everyone that I talked to at Ski Butlers was understanding and helpful even when it was my mistake. Eventually my skis were found in Vail and Ski Butlers picked them up (from an hour away) without giving me any grief or charging me any extra. This company is an absolute class act and I'll use your service every time I come back to Breck. I was so impressed on how they handled my fiasco that it overshadowed their original product. Having skis delivered to my condo is by far the easiest way I have ever handled ski rentals. I picked to have my skis delivered between 7:00-8:00 am and Ski Bulters was there at 7:05. After I was fitted, the guy even drove me (and my five roommates who brought their own skis) up to the mountain in the Ski Butler van. Granted, they probably don't do that for everybody, but it just goes to show you that they're the kind of company that goes out of their way for the customer. And on the last day, after having my butt kicked on the mountain for 3 days, they showed up that evening to pick up the equipment I had rented. We LOVE Ski Butlers! We've been to Breck twice already to ski and both times we had nothing but an EXCELLENT experience with SB. Audrey and Morgan were great when they delivered ours skis. Our boots were the best fitting boots we have ever had. The pick up of these skis were a breeze - the last time, they said just to leave them with the valet and they would pick them up later so we could go on about our business. Last year I paid approx $240 for Advanced ski/boots/poles, this year it was $380 per person. Same timing. The techs that came to the house where nice and knowledgeable, but did not have enough equipment for choices. One of our advanced male skiers had to take ladies skis. They had to come back the next day and called and told me they did not have what I needed and also offered ladies skis to me. I had a much better experience last year. read more

Ski Butlers is AWESOME! The guys spent a lot of time with our group of six ensuring we had the right fit and answering all our questions. Customer service was fantastic, one of the guys started every fitting off with a handshake and told us that's how our foot should feel in the boot. Overall, very friendly and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and tips about the different resorts we were planning on visiting. Heard aboout them on the internet, gave them a call, quickly made a reservation (you give them a credit card but nothing gets charged until they actually deliver and fit you). On the day of our arrival at Breckenridge we received a phone call asking us what time would be most convinient for us. They were on time, very friendly and professional. The equipment was in great shape. On the 3rd day my husband asked for his skis to be re-waxed: no problem, they came picked up the skis, waxed them and returned them - all in 45 min.
