Their online booking system is great and allowed me to communicate with Nicole regarding my tattoo. When the time came to head over to the shop, I received a text with the waiver and a place to upload an image of my license. Much better than handling all that paperwork in the shop! Nicole was great and personable and made sure I was more than happy with the stencil placement prior to actually tattooing me. There were only two others in the shop so it was a rather quiet experience except for Nicole and I chatting (which I appreciated). The aftercare balm they suggest is only $5 which is a nice touch! They also give you an aftercare bag full of goodies, including a lollipop.

vaughn needs to chill out and do some yoga…read more.. i had two tattoos and a piercing done here; eli, kate and ali... they are all absolutely LOVELY and i would have given this studio 5 stars if it hadn't been for today's completely terrible and disappointing experience. i had a 1pm apt with eli, we had been planning this artwork out for over a month and i know my design was tricky and complicated. eli did sooo so much to make sure i was completely satisfied, he was working on the drawing for over an hour and i really appreciated his attention to detail. i knew too that he would execute this amazingly and exactly as i had wanted it. so the design i wanted was the flower of life, but taking over my shoulder. the flower of life is sacred geometry; what this entire fabric of what we call reality is woven of. i see it all the time and it's literally everywhere. when it came to placing the stencil on my shoulder, i knew the design would not be perfect because of the limitations of this physical reality. i obviously understand that he didn't want the design to look bad, and appreciate it, but i literally saw the solution so clearly and also had so much confidence in eli and his artwork. vaughn started insulting the tattoos that i have, saying 'it's not my fault you have two fucked up tattoos' (they're not, btw) and then began literally YELLING at me. it was at this point that i couldn't proceed with eli and i's work, so asked him to wipe it off so i could leave. as a business owner, i would never speak to a customer that way, as you aren't a business without customers, lol. also, as a human, don't fucking yell at people, you have no idea what's going on in their lives. baaaaadddd vibessss. the way he acted was completely unprofessional, totally unnecessary and i will absolutely never step foot into the space again after being treated like complete garbage.

I called this shop to inquire about a cow tattoo, a two-by-two size, not too big but not too small…read more On the phone, I met Will, one of the tattoo artists at the shop. I explained what I envisioned, and he said I could come for a consultation the following day. I was told to call before coming so he was prepared to see me. On the day I was ready to come in for the consultation, I called, and due to busyness, I could not come in so instead, he asked me for my number so that I could send the picture of what I hoped to have done. He was quick to reply, which I much appreciated, and I was able to make an appointment. In addition, he answered any concerns or questions. The following day, I received a text to confirm the appointment, which I did, and he asked if I was available earlier, to which I replied with a yes. He said he'd let me know if a spot is available as soon as possible. Ultimately, there was, and I could come in earlier than my original appointment. Amazing! In addition, he sent me a picture of the linework via text, and it looked incredible. It matched the original image, and I was very impressed and excited. I arrived at the shop with my mother, who accompanied me. I instantly felt welcomed, and he quickly assisted me, handing me the paperwork. Afterward, he asked me where and what size I wanted it to be. He then printed the linework multiple times to ensure it was how I wanted. In my case, it was the cow's position, the direction it was facing. I was very grateful he had asked me how to position the cow because I would not have thought about that. Afterward, I was led into a room, where he placed the outline on me. He had done this multiple times to ensure the placement was straight and in the middle; I very much appreciated this, as I did not want a crooked cow. Once the placement was finished, he asked me to check it out to see how it looked in the mirror. He even recommended the mirror I was to look into, so I could have a better view, which was in the hallway. I was amazed when I looked into that mirror; it looked excellent. I then went back into the room, and he positioned the chair and told me how to position myself. I would say the tattoo process was about one hour. Throughout it all, he made sure I was comfortable and okay. He also told me what he would do before he did it. For example, before he sprayed me at the end of the tattoo, he told me the spray was cold, so I was prepared to expect the coldness. When the tattoo was finished, and it was time for me to get up, he ensured I got up slowly because I had been lying down for an extended period. I was then asked to look in the mirror and was blown away. Coming in, I was nervous that the tattoo would not be how I envisioned it, but it was the opposite; instead, it was much more than I envisioned. I was speechless. Back in the room, he took multiple photos of the tattoo. I could tell he took pride in his work. Afterward, he gave me instructions on caring for it and told me to contact him if any concerns or questions arose. Overall, Will was incredible. He was very caring and thoughtful and accommodated my mother and me. I am grateful for his talent and skills, which are portrayed by the work he takes pride in. I couldn't have asked for someone else to design this piece. The cow will remind me of this memorable experience forever.

We went all over the island looking for help fixing it and everyone suggested laser removal with the promise of redoing it after the laser removed the tattoo. We went to Kings Avenue tattoo and words can't even describe how great this place is. It's upscale, clean, and professional. We met with a tall thin man with a shaved head (his name escapes me) and he immediately validated us and asked what he can do. My fiancee cried and he was extremely empathetic and sat with us for a long time talking about options. He was the only place who said he could do ANYTHING besides laser. We told him he could have complete artistic freedom as long as it didn't look so obviously botched. He told us to come back for an appointment and he would see what would be possible. No exaggeration, the artist worked complete magic. He actually took zero artistic freedom and somehow fixed it to how it was originally supposed to be. The tattoo is almost perfect and when we showed people afterwards they could not believe the difference. I am extremely detail oriented and I stared at the tattoo for a long time and it was literally perfect. If the original had come out like that, we would've been thrilled. If the owner reading this remembers this travesty we brought in and can remind me of the artists name, he and the original man we spoke to were saints. This is the only place we and our family would ever go for more tattoos, this place deserves to stay open forever. He draws up an example, prints it out and brings you back into the room. This place has separate rooms for each artist. Super clean and upscale looking. He laid down the stencil making sure it's positioned in the exact way wanted. He laid down the finest outline I ever had, filled it in with color that was flawless in every way. Talking the whole time making me feel comfortable. Super cool guy, when it's all done give you the opportunity to review it, take your photos for the gram, and gives you two different ways of protecting it. They have a second skin and the old school way of protecting your investment. The prices here are on the higher end but the services justified the price. You have to remember this is a permanent investment and you shouldn't go by price alone. I will be coming back here to get more work done with Chis in the very near future.
