There is literally no one like her-- an absolute perfectionist and the best esthetician I have ever been to. Even after moving to California and Miami, I always travel back to New York to see her because she is the best. When I am unable to see her, I have tried other places like Skin Spirit in Palo Alto, and Skintique in coral gables, but they genuinely fall far below what Iva provides. Iva and Aphrodite are like family to me. They are both extremely passionate about what they do and they are perfectionists, meticulously extracting from every pore with a magnifying glass. Whenever I go, it's like the most amazing day of my life and for weeks after my skin is completely clear. There is no need to put on make up because my skin looks so radiant and healthy due to their extractions and galvanic soothing therapy (which Iva actually explained to me about how it works at a cellular level through electroosmosis). Iva is extremely knowledgeable about skin and much more hands on than a dermatologist. She will remove infected pimples without a mark and make your skin look so youthful. My mom has anti aging therapies and has been asked multiple times if she has ever had work done.

The facial was amazing and after the facial and extrating all those gunk out my face my skin just felt super squeaky clean.Catalina explained as what I should be expecting in few days. She said my skin will start to peel which is nomal and try to put SPF. My facial was great and felt cleaner. I will be going back again in 6-8 weeks again. P.S. Before I ever lived in NY, I heard about how Bonnie gives "the best facials in existence" from my entire family. No surprise that she has all 5 star reviews on Yelp. The experience was somehow even better than anticipated. Bonnie is a real master of her craft. She can and will restore even the most inflamed irritates and stressed out skin. She has all the knowledge and training of from her years working in dermatology, her expertise is clear, but so is her CARE. She cares for her clients and their skin. Also she is so kind and sweet. We did a deep cleaning (because my skin needed it!) A peel and LED light therapy. With Blue and red light. The Blue kills the bacteria and red heals the skin and its anti aging, but with one treatment you get a nice glow. While I don't care much about having a tan, I do value the bacteria zapping benefits and found the warm light to be very relaxing. Can't tell you how bad my skin has been due to stress and masks etc., It feels really wonderful to have my skin deeply and thoroughly cleaned by a professional. Not only does my skin feel and look better, I feel more relaxed. Bonnie also gave me tips to improve my skin care regimen, let me know my current moisturizer is clogging my pores, but suggested a few to try and even wrote out a very helpful post-facial care summary for me! Bonnie was so lovely and so careful. She had a mask and visor on, every patient completes a COVID safety form *before* their appointment and theres plenty of hand sanitizer and extra masks when you get there. I had a few painful ear pimples from mask wearing and Bonnie got them (without me having to she did cleaned every zit behind my ears under my chin on along my hairline). She also gave me a clean mask to wear home! Bring an extra mask so you don't have to put your dirty mask on your newly cleaned face! She does have plenty extra in case you forget. I know times are stressful and tough right now, but if you've been thinking about prioritizing your self-care and skincare, I couldn't recommend Bonnie enough!

In this case, I knew I was giving Well Kept the full five before I was out of the chair. From the second you walk in, you get a perfect (and very difficult to find) balance of barbershop and salon. Each station is clean and organized to the extent that their tools of the trade are displayed - not stored - to let you know you are about to sit in the chair of a craftsmen. The banter between the guys is true barbershop style but always respectful (it seemed with purposeful consideration to the client's ear and Well Kept being a place of business, opposed to the typical barbershop where you might be the one paying, but there is no mind given to what is said in your presence).
