I typically do my brows myself, but with a big trip and two weeks of wanting to spend zero extra time on my makeup, I decided to leave nothing to chance and opted to have them tended professionally. I paid the extra fee to have the owner, Destiny, do my brows herself. No messing around. I walked in and she was ready. The space was clean, and I dropped into some casual conversation with her and her coworker with ease. They were both free when I walked in, but both chairs filled within a few minutes. I explained where I was going/my needs, and she did her thing. My brows are a little uneven as far as thickness, so for the first couple of days I added a little fill to the one, but after a couple of days they evened out and still looked great. The shape was perfect, they were the right shade, and gave me the POP I wanted. I went in the ocean multiple times, salty hot springs, hiking in the Mexican sun, endured a myriad of pillowcases in hotels, plus had my sleep mask and several different hats on, and we're still looking pretty good now that I'm home from my adventures. I would definitely consider microshading there in the future. Destiny's vibe might not be right for everyone, but the Browtique was it for me.

When you walk in you see her display of makeup products and some little water bottles. It's a super cute place! Before we started, she had me fill out paperwork about any medical history, my skin care routine, and what I would like to achieve with the service. I've never done dermaplaning, but Elena walked me through each step and made me feel comfortable. First, she cleanses your skin. Then she goes through with the Dermaplaning which is scalping off the top layer of dead skin to help regenerate a new layer. You can't make sudden movements since she is using a scalpel, but I found it relaxing! Elena has so much knowledge about skin and told me I have very dry skin. She talked about what products would be helpful in aiding my dry skin and gave me a huge reminder to use sunscreen. Will be adding that and the hyaluronic acid serum to my skincare routine. After that she cleanses my face again and put a hot towel over my face to help open up the pores. She used a machine (I forgot what it's called), but it looks like a spatula and vibrates to help push out black heads and other gunk in my face. She even pushed out a stubborn blackhead for me after and popped a little zit I had near my forehead. This part hurt the worst! She also did a little peel treatment for me. I just couldn't remember if it was before or after the blackheads part. She then cleanses my face again, put a sample of the hyaluronic acid and moisturizes my face. I am not going to lie my face was a little red and I had red scraped spots from where she pulled out blackheads and my face was not looking pretty!!! Luckily you can wear makeup and go about your normal routine 30 min-an hour after the treatment. Later that night my skin peeled a little bit by my chin which was fine! Nothing too crazy. She even gave me a couple samples to take home. This is the second day after my treatment and I must say, any acne scars and red spots have faded a lot just from treatment! My skin looks more clear from the previous discoloration I've had. Thank you so much Elena and I will most definitely be back.

The Luminary process is a bit lengthy, ~1.5 hrs, but worth it. Luminary stays longer than traditional gel and is better on my nails than the dip I used to get. The salon itself is clean and the staff very professional and the cost is reasonable as well. They have a specific cancellation policy be sure to fully understand the implications of cancelling an appointment before you book. I use the Vagaro app and it works perfectly for me. The salon offers many types of nail services and I impressed with the options. I've yet to get a pedicure but plan to when the weather warms. I've seen some serious nail art while there and it would appear that they do a great job of it as well. I highly recommend the salon and Teagan!

Today I had a tech with…read morean awful attitude who claimed there is no cuticle work done for an express manicure... even though it clearly states that cuticle work is part of this service on their menu of services. I mentioned this to her and she just brushed it off. I mention this at the time of payment and they said they'll make sure staff is aware of what a service includes, going forward, agreeing with me. But they didn't change me for a lesser service (polish change) so that doesn't exactly help me! Generally they always seem extremely stressed to stay within very tight time frames (I think my service was like 18 minutes) and kind of churning people out as quickly as possible.
