Dr. Fiorillo was my #1 choice to do my procedure, I had gone to 5 other surgeons for consultations…read morethat came highly recommended as did Dr. Fiorillo, I personally saw Dr. Fiorillo's work and had friends sing his praise. Dr. Fiorillo sent me for many tests to make sure I would get through the surgery without complications. One of those tests ( Pulmonary test ) with Dr. Hollingsworth from NYC Surgical Associates discovered the surgery would put me at a high risk to get a blood clot. Dr. Fiorillo put my well being first not the mighty dollar. Even though I am very disappointed that I can't have my procedure I am so thankful for Dr Fiorillo and Dr. Hollingsworth for putting my well being first. Both doctors have the best bed side manner I have ever seen !!! I also have to say Dr. Fiorillo's office staff are the most friendly and bright individuals I have met in the medical field. Thank you to Kara, Julie, Erin and Tracy for Your care and professionalism. I will always highly recommend Dr. Fiorillo !!! Sorry if i mis Spelled anyone's name.

I WAS BOTCHED NOT ONCE BUT TWICE BY DR. FIORILLO…read more I'm writing this with the hope of saving someone else from the emotional and physical nightmare I've endured through this practice. I had my first breast augmentation done by Dr. Michael Fiorillo at Reflections Medical in Pearl River, NY in August 2023. I flew in from California because my aunt and her friends had gone to him without any issue. I paid $10,000 for what I expected would be a straightforward procedure under the muscle. Within 6 weeks, I noticed a shadow under my nipple and a strange "double chin" effect on my breast (pictures below). I contacted the office, and I was told it was "normal" and to wait a few more weeks. At the 3-month mark, it was still there. Dr. Fiorillo casually said I had "bottomed out a little" and suggested a fat transfer not acknowledging it as anything serious. A few more months passed after that, and the implants had completely bottomed out, with a large unnatural gap between my actual breast and the implant. So, in August 2024, I returned to him for a revision surgery as I believed maybe it had to do with an event that happened to me after the surgery, not questioning his practice. This time we wanted to add a Galaflex Mesh (a $2,000 internal support) and larger implants, totaling over $6,000 more out of pocket. Unfortunately, history repeated itself. By the 5-6 week mark, the exact same deformity began to appear. I called the office immediately. A nurse (who later Dr. Fiorillo dismissed as "new") told me it was normal for "tubular breasts" - a diagnosis I was never told I had. When I finally got on the phone with Dr. Fiorillo, he rushed me, dismissed my concerns, and wouldn't let me explain anything. I was shocked by how little empathy or accountability he showed. When that conversation ended, I had completed lost trust in him. I shortly sought out two separate second opinions from breast augmentation revision specialists. Both told me I had a classic "double bubble"complication.. something Dr. Fiorillo never once mentioned. According to both doctors: - The new fold that was created was placed too low. - The implants were resting on my abdominal wall (not the proper location). - The Galaflex mesh was a useless expensive "bandaid" that did nothing to correct the surgical error. - My chest muscle are visibly protruding, explaining the persistent shadow - its a band of my muscle cutting into the implants, making them push onto my abdominal wall. - The revision to undo this damage will now cost me $16,000-$18,000 as they have to undo all the damage Dr. Fiorillo has done. When I brought all of this to Dr. Fiorillo's attention at my 3 month follow up, he said he stood by his work and that he still thought he did a nice job (please look at the pictures below - his comment is laughable). He offered me a $4,000 refund, but only if I signed an NDA. Mind you, I had already spent $16,000+ on him. I refused to be silenced, especially for the little money he wanted to refund to me. Patients deserve transparency and the truth. This process has been traumatizing - not just financially, but emotionally. I feel completely disfigured, disappointed, and dismissed. I went to Dr. Fiorillo hoping to feel more confident in my body, and I'm now left needing a third surgery and emotionally drained from this ordeal. From a surgery that should have been just $10,000 until my ten year mark is now going to cost me over $30,000. Please do your research. Get multiple consultations. Don't be swayed by flashy marketing or years in practice or by someone that has been on TV. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. You can see my pictures from both surgeries from 2023 and 2024 below:

Dr. Fogelman's assistant did not give her a paper gown and said the doctor will be in soon. He came in and my lifted her sweater a little above her waist to show him the dark spot. He stood 3-4 feet away and said it was hereditary and gave her a neutrogena brochure. The office charged $20.00 and he never did a skin check. Subsequently we received a bill where Medicare was charged $325-after her Medicare deductible was applied the office sent her a bill for $116.00 when I called the billing department to contest the bill, they said the the doctor said my wife refused the skin check which was a not true. If Doctor Fogelman does not want to examine a woman's body, he should not take the appointment. After asking to speak to the office manager-they said they will call back, My wife also called and they also said the office manager will call back. Here we are 3 weeks later and no one called and we are still getting billed. Additionally my wife had to see another dermatologist (female) in another practice who diagnosed her black spot as s keratosis and froze the area which fell off after a week. We now are expecting bill from this new office visit. As an aside, I advised my wife to visit Dr. Fogelman as he has been my dermatologist. Neither one of us will ever go to this practice and we are considering to complain to the better business bureau.

I needed a biopsy and my doctor was out of the country when the results came back. I am a stage 4 Cancer patient, not melanoma. All biopsies make me very anxious. The appointment I made to remove the stitches was not on their calendar. I called multiple times to get my biopsy results. I did get an appointment 3 weeks later and it was canceled by text 24 hours before. My doctor was still out of the country and it seems no one was covering his patients. I called and demanded to see someone else. It was a waste of time since the results were just given to me, not explained. A second biopsy was suggested which I declined. No next steps were offered other than a specialist in Westchester but no name was given and the center has various medical doctors on staff. This was a horrifying experience, I don't know what has happened to patient care at this facility.

We take time off of work to go & when we get there, they do no accept it & say we will be responsible for 50% of all services. When we asked the average cost of an office visit, biopsies, etc. the only response we received is "I don't know." The woman at the front desk had such an unnecessary bad attitude. I should have known when I called to confirm that they received our records & received a very similar rude attitude. Should have read the reviews prior to wasting my time.

Once again said I'm not having headaches she once again said she needed to see a neurologist and then my daughter started to cry because she was frustrated that she wasn't being listened to. Later, abeles had the nerve to call my daughter after she cried in the office and said that you're crying makes me uncomfortable. For a doctor to call a young patient and say you're crying makes me uncomfortable is the most unprofessional thing I've ever heard. She is clearly unprofessional and heartless. Stay away even people in her office were questioning what happened in there when my daughter left the office. I've never heard what happened in there in 56 years of seeing doctors.
