Her home studio is clean and comfortable and close to where I live so hello, no traffic. Making an appointment was easy. I called her but after, we exchanged texts which I am a big fan of because who has time to talk on the phone now, amiright? Now, to the lashes. They're perfect. She was meticulous and she chose lashes that really fit my face and opened up my eyes like whoa! Also, her hands smelled good which doesn't seem like a big deal to anyone else but I've had lash techs just finish lunch before and their hands still smelled like whatever they ate and that's just too close to my face. So I'm on nearly 3 week and I'd say like 90% of my lashes are still in tact and looking beautiful still! I love waking up and just going without worrying about makeup and blah blah #iwokeuplikethis. I asked how long it would take and I didn't get a reply. Texted her two more times and I finally got a reply a week after. She said the refund had been issued and that I should've received it by now. From the moment we met, McKensie's energy was so positive. Here is what I care about when choosing a stylist that McKensie checked every box for me. She is very personable, she genuinely listened to my concerns and reviewed the pics I brought in of where I wanted my blonde highlights and lowlights to ultimately look like. She is very meticulous and skilled with placement of highlights and lowlights, taking her time with every foil placement.
