I was concerned how was I going to be outside this summer with 8 treatments remaining. Glad it won't be an issue now. The woman who did my laser (I wish I would have gotten her name) was very informative and made me feel comfortable. This was my second session so I'm still pretty new. I added on a new service, my upper lip (because why be hairless everywhere else and still have a mustache?!) and the woman walked me through what it would feel like and even did a test on my neck before we began- I appreciated that. She was thorough and took her time making sure to get every spot. I already booked my next appointment and I can't wait to come back! I've seen amazing results after the first session so I can't wait to see if any hair grows back now.

She then yelled at me when I suggested I should receive some sort of compensation for the severe inconvenience, told me I was out of luck because I already paid for the service and then hung up on me. Every single laseraway employee I've ever met has told me they are looking for a new job and hate working there and clearly it's managers like yona driving away good employees and customers. I'm shocked she still has a job with customer service/managerial "skills" like I saw tonight, but hopefully she enjoyed getting off early tonight on June 23 2026. Avoid and take your business elsewhere unless you want your appt cancelled without notice 5 minutes before so the manager can tell you she doesn't care because you already paid for the appt, hang up on you and then leave early.

They use Cynosure laser and this has been very effictive for my skin. Getting laser was the best investment since I really don't ever have to worry about shaving anymore. UPDATE: Following my consultation, I received an email soliciting my feedback. I provided it and expressed that I had a poor experience during my consultation but remained interested in purchasing a package and working with a different specialist. No one acknowledged or responded. It now seems I'll be purchasing services elsewhere since Laser Spa doesn't care enough to earn my business with a simple response to an email. The location really is convenient and I prepared for many weeks for the treatments, so this is highly disappointing.

Your website clearly states the estimated length of each laser treatment (for example, full legs - 20 minutes, stomach line - 15 minutes), so I had certain expectations regarding the quality and thoroughness of the service. I arrived early for my appointment and was the only client in the waiting room. After waiting about five minutes, the technician brought me in on time. From the start, there was very little communication. She only asked the standard questions about retinol use, antibiotics, and similar medical information, but she never explained the treatment process or what to expect during the session. What concerned me most was the treatment itself. The technician did not mark or properly assess the treatment areas, and it felt like she was simply guessing rather than being precise. She didn't pause to check that every area had been treated evenly. When I asked her to lower the air pressure because I was uncomfortable, my request was ignored. This location is not the same since the previous technicians left. The level of professionalism and attention to detail has noticeably declined. There was no welcoming atmosphere, no effort to make me feel comfortable, and no sense of structure. What was especially frustrating is that there wasn't a single other client waiting, yet the technician still rushed through my appointment. The session was completed much faster than expected, and I honestly do not believe all of the treatment areas were covered properly. Laser hair removal should be performed carefully and methodically. The technician should be checking that every section is treated evenly rather than rushing through the appointment. As a paying customer, I expect a thorough treatment that matches the standards your company advertises. I left feeling like my appointment was rushed and that I did not receive the quality of care I paid for. All I can say is UNBELIEVABLE! Not in a good way... I received a LivingSocial email from this place and was excited to give them a try since my fiance and I are coming to visit NYC soon. Anyway, was reading the reviews and noticed Rachel S's review here on YELP. I was hesitant to purchase one of these LivingSocial coupons as I have heard that many businesses are not honoring them like they should. So I decided to give them a call. Well here we go...guess what, I got a rude, sarcastic, smart elick-y woman just like Rachel S.! Cannot believe it. Wonder if the owner knows how the receptionist behaves when speaking to potential clients? I called back and got her name-CAROLYN, she's obviously costing him(the owner, who I assume is the dermatologist) business! I wish I could call to talk to him myself, actually, I think I will, and let him know how his receptionist treated me. I was so excited, planning on getting pedicures and facials for my fiance and myself. However, after talking to her and her being so rude I cannot believe it! I am going to go to Jin Soon or Sakura, as I have heard raving reviews on both places. Getting back to CAROLYN...she was so rude, interrupting, and condescending. I have booked appointments online that have not been accepted and I've called on the following dates (all outreach has been ignored): 4/9 4/4 4/3 3/25 3/14. 4/11- call was terminated twice. 4/19 I've texted on the following dates: 2/27 4/3 My next steps are to file a consumer complaint with NYS, contact the Better Business Bureau, and reach out to the local NYC consumer reporters. At this point, I need a refund as Tasha is not going to honor her end of the contract. I wish I took more photos to document the level of bruising, however I didn't realize that Tasha would not follow through on her end of our contract. In hindsight, I should have been weary about going to Ardor when my first appointment wasn't cancelled on 6/7/2023. It was unsafe to be outside as the City was Orange due to the Canadian Wildfires. Her space is very tiny, so the smoke entered the office. Even my gym cancelled classes on that date.

I wanted to give a healthy 20% tip on the regular price of the service, but honestly, I didn't think it was deserved and didn't feel relaxed or refreshed afterward AT ALL. She also cut the appointment short by 30 minutes. I would not recommend this place, and I feel badly even writing this review, but I'd prefer someone else know what they're getting into prior.

She has all the knowledge and training of from her years working in dermatology, her expertise is clear, but so is her CARE. She cares for her clients and their skin. Also she is so kind and sweet. We did a deep cleaning (because my skin needed it!) A peel and LED light therapy. With Blue and red light. The Blue kills the bacteria and red heals the skin and its anti aging, but with one treatment you get a nice glow. While I don't care much about having a tan, I do value the bacteria zapping benefits and found the warm light to be very relaxing. Can't tell you how bad my skin has been due to stress and masks etc., It feels really wonderful to have my skin deeply and thoroughly cleaned by a professional. Not only does my skin feel and look better, I feel more relaxed. Bonnie also gave me tips to improve my skin care regimen, let me know my current moisturizer is clogging my pores, but suggested a few to try and even wrote out a very helpful post-facial care summary for me! Bonnie was so lovely and so careful. She had a mask and visor on, every patient completes a COVID safety form *before* their appointment and theres plenty of hand sanitizer and extra masks when you get there. I had a few painful ear pimples from mask wearing and Bonnie got them (without me having to she did cleaned every zit behind my ears under my chin on along my hairline). She also gave me a clean mask to wear home! Bring an extra mask so you don't have to put your dirty mask on your newly cleaned face! She does have plenty extra in case you forget. I know times are stressful and tough right now, but if you've been thinking about prioritizing your self-care and skincare, I couldn't recommend Bonnie enough!

Maya was super attentive and knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the range of treatments I would be receiving. She assured me that I would see an immediate difference in my skin, and she definitely delivered. First, the space was so luxurious and cozy, and the actual facial was the best I've ever had! It felt very personal and tailored to me, and I never felt that she was rushing through any part of the process which I love. Extractions usually make me anxious, but Maya did such a great job hydrating and prepping my skin that when it was time, I wasn't worried at all! The end result was glowy, juicy skin, and because of the LED light treatment and micro-current facial, my skin has actually continued to improve as time has passed! 10/10, would recommend. By the end of my appointment I was totally relaxed, my skin concerns addressed, AND I left with a new skincare routine and long term treatment plan. I will definitely be going back to see Maya at the end of the month!
