I had a few different time slots & couple different aestheticians I could choose from on the day I wanted to go. No need to pay when booking. I got a text/email after to confirm my appointment. I must admit I didn't read my confirmation email very well as it does tell you that they are located inside the High Mountain Healing Spa. This sign is on their front door. Apparently they just moved into here not to long ago & are renting out this space. The owner has left the previous business's name on the door. Once I got into the parking lot I actually called them to find out where they were & spoke to a man, I think his name is Bob? Its inside a little mall plaza with other businesses in it. Once I walked in & confirmed I was in the right place, which I was. Their waiting area is really small, it would be hard to social distance in here. I checked in with an older man. He had a face mask on but it wasn't covering his nose. I really wanted to tell him that it's not 100% effective when not worn properly but didn't....... Anyways I was given a form to fill out that asks basic information, previous facials, skin care, etc. It didn't take me long to fill it out. I used a pen that was on the counter & have no idea if it was clean or not? They did have a bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter which I used. Once I turned in my paper work my aesthetician was there to great me. It wasn't the one I booked the appointment with, nor the new one they re-booked me with via an updated email they sent me prior to my appointment. Not sure why all the changing? I ended up having a very, nice young girl named Jacquline. I ended up jumping in the bathroom on my way into my room as I wanted to wash my hands since it didn't look like anything was sanitized @ the check in desk. Once I got in the room she explained what she was going to do to me & stepped out so I could get undressed. I only had to take my top off & was able to leave my bra on & move my straps down my arms. I then climbed onto my table & got under some linen. She knocked prior to coming back into the room. While working on me she had asked me about my routine face care. She gave me some info. & tips about my current face washing & SPF lotion regimen that I've been using. All the products used on my face smelled amazing. I got the holiday facial which is an hour long & includes a light neck, shoulder, upper back & upper chest massage. My skin looked amazing & was glowing afterwards. She did do a gentle extraction of my nose. She said the rest of my face looked good. We discussed other services that are available as I mentioned I don't like the loose skin under my eyes & she told me about their micro single treatment. I will definitely be booking that, anything to avoid surgery. Their prices are already really reasonable to begin with but they also offer a 25% discount for nurses on their services. When I checked out with Bob (?) who still had his face mask sitting under his nose he gave me a little gift which included a candy bar, xmas stuffed animal & an advertisement card about "lunch time facial" which was part of my FREE facial. Thank you sooooo much for offering the free facial to us healthcare workers during these hard times, I really appreciate it & I have been ranting & raving to my co-workers to get their butt in there & how awesome my facial was!!!! I will be back!
