Since I haven't done other services here beside the Brazilian wax, a 4/5 overall review for this business is fair. BRAZILIAN WAX -- I visited for the first time in October 2021 for a full Brazilian wax. Much to my surprise, I came back again on 6 January 2023 for another full Brazilian Wax. This time around, I had Candance Haynes as the waxer. I preferred Candance over the person I had before (no offence) because Candance was a bit more thorough or attentive with the final cleanup process and she didn't leave any hot wax behind on my body. Overall, 5/5 stars for Candance doing such a great job on a full Brazilian Wax service. I highly recommend her especially if you hardly get this service done or if it is your first time. She doesn't accept male clients but there is another employee (Jessica I believe) who does take on male clients. I may come back for eyebrow threading in the future. I am used to getting those services done by South Asian women from India or Pakistan but I'm happy that Peach Fuzz offers this service. Requested I give it a few more washes and another week and she would then tone it. (Toning would darken--not lighten). She said she looked over my photos and said when I left the salon she thought she did what I wanted--she did however it washed out. I messaged her to let her know that I went some place else. Where I was informed that she did not leave it on my hair long enough and it was not blended well at all. I had paid $360 (with tip, to Mallory). She not only didn't offer to refund ANY of my money, she also didn't even apologize that I had went someplace else. I would never go back to her based on the lack of response and refund. Terrible.

Unfortunately, one of my gel nails chipped and fell off before the 24-hour mark. FYI, gel manicures usually last about two weeks for me. I was on vacation so I reached out to the manicurist on social media to give her the feedback and all I got was a "That should NOT have happened." I called the salon hoping they would be a little more apologetic and the person that answered was extremely cold and unhelpful. I told her that I basically didn't have a manicure anymore and she responded, "Umm, you definitely still have a manicure." She said I could get a 50% refund or could come in when I was back to have them fixed. I knew they would have been grown out by that time - little did I know, they would all peel off before the end of my trip. I guess I was looking for either a full refund or a free manicure since I had spent $70 and left a very generous tip but apparently they don't really care about customer retention. Save your money and go to The Beauty Room in Tremont. They do a fantastic job at a better price point. And everyone is super friendly. The woman that works the front desk at Stella & Shay is extremely cold.

I'm not sure where the inspiration came from to create this gorgeous place, but it is worth a visit if you like a vibe that is earthy and fun. Update: During the Coronavirus shutdown, Casey at the Willow Room offered an 'at home root touch up kit' that she delivered to my house. I was overwhelmed with joy. What customer service!
