Felt like I was making a black market deal. Located in a shared space with other companies, many of the other folks in the waiting room were pickups for their popular pizza. Ghost kitchen pizza, at least for now! They're currently holding an investment opportunity to move into a brick and mortar. little over 11% after 3 years on each bond. Left feeling like I'd like a more personal interaction with my pizza orders until I realized that's a rarity nowadays. Pizza is made by the mass. Everything was packed well and the ranches were included in the pizza box and the dessert bars were each in their own little container. The pizza was thin crust and they use the pepperoni that turns into pepperoni cups when they cook. The flavor was good, but there wasn't much cheese on the pizza. Still a solid slice. We dipped our pizza in the ranch and it is a great ranch, flavorful and perfect for dipping. The snap, crackle and pop bars were just ok. They seemed to be packed pretty densely instead of being more fluffy and gooey. It's a me preference, but they were still a nice dessert. I preferred the original over the cookies and cream one because the cookies and cream was even more dense. I do not understand why they do not have five stars. This is the best pizza I've ever had in California. I lived in New York for a few years, and I am extremely picky. Their pizza has generous toppings and a to die for crust! Got them today on DoorDash and I do not regret it. They also wrote a cute thank you on the pizza box which I love. I purchased one side of ranch which I thought was a little pricey for 3$ but they included 2 in the box which made it better. One thing that wasn't clear to me beforehand is that this appears to be a ghost kitchen rather than a traditional restaurant, which was not what I was expecting. The location itself felt run down in an awful neighborhood. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. The pizza was average at best and didn't stand out in any way. In fact, I would honestly rate it below or on par with chain pizza places like Round Table or even Domino's, which offer more consistent quality and value. The pizza had great flavor, texture, and spice. It's not oily and you can taste each ingredient with every bite but the crust was overdone/burnt to me. The "restaurant" is a rather sterile and dystopian. The lobby worker was very nice and helpful with helping us navigate the whole experience. I saw them on Tik Tok, and immediately added it to my list of pizza places to try. Initially I thought it was going to be a New York style pizza. Although it is a thin crust, it does not taste like New York style. It was still very good. The crust was good, the sauce and toppings all seemed to be high quality, the only complaint I had was it was a little bit heavy and floppy in the center. Typically with thin crust, I prefer it a little bit lighter and crispier on the bottom to support the toppings. They also have a homemade ranch, which is always a plus, but unfortunately I prefer more of a buttermilk ranch with my pizza, and they have more the dill style ranch. Overall an excellent pizza and I recommend trying it. The location is not in the best area. Lots of homeless and people loitering out front, SO be safe when picking up your pizza. read more
