Came in on a Friday night with a large group we must have ordered just about every pizza on the menu. Every single pizza was delicious! I loved the creativity all the flavors complimented each other well. Tried a few summer salads which was rhetorical perfect appetizer. For dessert we tried the cannoli which was amazing! Great spot! I knew it would be good when I heard it was by the owners of Adamo's-- one of my favorite spots in Sac. It's a casual spot where you order at the front and can enjoy your pizza at one of the tables there, or take it to go. If dining in, they have four different olive oils on the tables (garlic, rosemary, Calabrian, regular)...I really loved these. Super nice people running it too! read more

I absolutely love the pizza here as it is super easy to eat with flavors that really pop off. This pizza is not like something you'd get at a chain pizza place as these pizzas aren't a greasy mess. This pizza is very thin, so if you are into a thicker style crust you might need to look elsewhere. But the thin crust really allows all the ingredients to shine. The restaurant itself is nice and cozy with plenty of seating in their dining room. The decor is simple and minimalistic. Each table has four oil bottles to use for the pizza. They range from standard oil to garlic and spicy. It was fun to give each of them a try. They are particularly great on the crust when finishing off a slice. Was craving a certain type of pizza and saw Dodici pop up in my search. So I made a plan to come here one night after the gym. Online shows that they close at 9 during weekdays, so I put in an order at 7:56 pm. But it turns out they close at 8 pm. The girl was really nice about it and let me know I was the last order and they were waiting for me. I got there at 8:24 pm. I felt a little bad. Parking was hard to find, especially since there is construction in the neighboring building so I couldn't park in front of the shop. So I had to circle around 2x until I found parking a block away. Inside looked nice. There's plenty of seating and they have drinks in the fridge that your can purchase. The pizza itself was good. It was cold by the time I got it, but I didn't eat it until almost an hour after putting in my order. The sausage was really good. I wish there was more white sauce in it as well. I'll try to come back to try another pizza, but I feel like it is a bit pricier than your typical neighborhood pizza joint. read more

We went there later after the dinner rush and we were helped immediately. You start by ordering at the counter and then finding a table. The owners are Italian and we found out about this place after dining at their first Italian restaurant called adamo's which we enjoyed a lot so we thought we'd check out their newly opened pizza restaurant. At their tables they placed different infused olive oils which were a garlic oil, chili pepper oil, and an herb oil which I believe was rosemary. I ordered the carbonara pizza and drizzled some of their spicy pepper oil on it and it was absolutely delicious. I really do love spicy foods and the pepper oil had a bold kick to it so I would caution against it if you can't really handle spicy foods. The beers were a nice compliment to their pizzas. The dough was nice, thin, crispy, but also perfectly chewy. The dim lighting of the restaurant was very relaxed but intimate feeling. We'll definitely be returning! read more

When you walk into Dodici you are greeted by a dim dining room that would be suitable for parties of all sizes, to order you can walk up to the counter and their service is quici and courteous I gotta say. To me this is the best pizza I've had in Sacramento area so far - the crust is on a whole nother level compared to every other place. Very crisp but a nice slight chew for that mouth feel, the toppings feel very intentional and well balanced not too fatty not too greasy not too salty it really makes you appreciate each ingredient. This place is a hidden gem, it's owned by the same folks who own Adamos (some of the best pasta in Sac). This is a little neighborhood pizza joint that brings you fun fresh flavors in a very casual place. Parking was a bit tricky, but not impossible. Seating is first come first serve, you get a menu and order at the counter. Each table has flavored olive oils to pair with the pizza, the garlic one was my favorite. The pizza is fairly thin crust and the type of slice that falls apart when you pick it up, but it was DELICIOUS. Definitely come give this place a try before it gets super popular and crowded. read more

Campagnola - refreshing salad with zucchini, pomegranate, mint, basil, black pepper, white vinegar, extra virgin olive oil,salt, it was a refreshing salad and it was a first with using zucchini as a salad and it was amazing and simple and quick clean recipe. . I was really excited to try this restaurant the other day. I walked in with my family and before I ordered I asked "Is there anything that has peanuts that I should avoid? My son has a peanut allergy." The Head Chef/Owner comes out and says "Our dough has Peanuts in it" as a way to mock and shame us for asking. That sounded strange so I ask "you put peanuts in your dough?" He replied with "the flour has peanuts in it" and then walks away shaking his head in anger. Although he was probably just being mean, at this point we couldn't trust the safety of the food at this restaurant. We went to another pizza restaurant down the street, asked the same question, they double checked with their chefs, they ensured us there is no peanuts and we enjoyed our meal. We are not sure why we were treated so poorly here but I really hope they reevaluate how they treat their customers and community. My son was also really excited to try this place and was really sad with how we were treated. read more

Strolled in on a busy Saturday night ordered my Calabrese special pizza and sat down waiting for my pie. I had to move tables as they had people dining in which I gladly gave up my seat since I was taking my pizza to go. I got onto my phone and was doing some work when all of a sudden I look up and the people that were sitting at the table, I was asked to move from we're already halfway done with their pizza. Mind you I was there a good 10 minutes before they walked in and no pizza. When I inquired, they said that my pizza order was just put in. I understand this place is new and there are kinks but this was just totally unacceptable. I was there over 40 minutes and they just put my pizza in. I couldn't wait so I got my refund and left. Being at national PI day I really wanted to try this place since their sister restaurant has rave reviews. Maybe I'll try them again during the week when they're not so busy, but this was not a good start for them. I will say the pizza did smell amazing but I just couldn't sit there and wait. Mamma mia! This is the real deal, southern Italian style pizza. The pizza maker is from Puglia (the heel of the boot). The crust is thin and crispy. About a dozen or so options; we had the "Rosemarino," 'which was a white pizza with sausage and potatoes and a touch of rosemary. Topped it off with a little of the house-made pepper olive oil (it's hot!) and man, brought me right back to my native country. No beer or wine yet (the Italian cola is good!). We found a gem in Dodici pizzeria. The thin-crust, 13-inch pizzes are just the right size for one or two people -- depending on how hungry you are. We started off with a strawberry salad that was delightful. We then shared a calabrese pizza that was amazing, especially the spicy sausage and burrata. For desert, we took home tiramisu that came in a cup. All together, a wonderful meal. Staff is responsive and friendly. This was my second time coming here and it was the same, they are incredibly slow. I placed my order while I was at work, came home and changed and then went to pick it up. It was not ready after 40 minutes and took another 20 for a total of an hour. They were not busy so no excuse. The pizza is great, carbonara and estiva, just so slow. The place is also really noisy. LOVE this pizza! We couldn't decide so we ordered three to pick up. With lots to choose from, we got the 4 Formaggi, Cacio e Pere (pears, cheese, honey), and the Gustosa (Italian sausage, gorgonzola, walnuts, honey). Wouldn't change a thing on any of these! Crust is perfectly thin and crispy with the perfect amount of chewy around the edges. Toppings get a "chef's kiss" rating. Because we ordered three, we have lots of left overs which we look forward to reheating and having for dinner tonight! Next time we'll try the Margherita. Cute family-style pizzeria in a quiet corner of downtown Sacramento. I can't emphasize enough how delicious the pizza was!
