If you like high quality, fresh and traditional thin style pizza, then this is the place to satisfy your craving. I absolutely love the pizza here as it is super easy to eat with flavors that really pop off. This pizza is not like something you'd get at a chain pizza place as these pizzas aren't a greasy mess. This pizza is very thin, so if you are into a thicker style crust you might need to look elsewhere. But the thin crust really allows all the ingredients to shine. The restaurant itself is nice and cozy with plenty of seating in their dining room. The decor is simple and minimalistic. Each table has four oil bottles to use for the pizza. They range from standard oil to garlic and spicy. It was fun to give each of them a try. They are particularly great on the crust when finishing off a slice. Dodici has instantly become a top favorite pizza place for me in Sacramento. I'd really love to come back again and again!

Was craving a certain type of pizza and saw Dodici pop up in my search. So I made a plan to come here one night after the gym. Online shows that they close at 9 during weekdays, so I put in an order at 7:56 pm. But it turns out they close at 8 pm. The girl was really nice about it and let me know I was the last order and they were waiting for me. I got there at 8:24 pm. I felt a little bad. Parking was hard to find, especially since there is construction in the neighboring building so I couldn't park in front of the shop. So I had to circle around 2x until I found parking a block away. Inside looked nice. There's plenty of seating and they have drinks in the fridge that your can purchase. The pizza itself was good. It was cold by the time I got it, but I didn't eat it until almost an hour after putting in my order. The sausage was really good. I wish there was more white sauce in it as well. I'll try to come back to try another pizza, but I feel like it is a bit pricier than your typical neighborhood pizza joint.

    Margherita and Calabrese pizzas

Our new favorite pizza spot in Sacramento! We went to Dodici last night and got the Margherita and Calabrese pizzas, along with a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality. Service was also great. We'll definitely be back soon!

We went there later after the dinner rush and we were helped immediately. You start by ordering at the counter and then finding a table. The owners are Italian and we found out about this place after dining at their first Italian restaurant called adamo's which we enjoyed a lot so we thought we'd check out their newly opened pizza restaurant. At their tables they placed different infused olive oils which were a garlic oil, chili pepper oil, and an herb oil which I believe was rosemary. I ordered the carbonara pizza and drizzled some of their spicy pepper oil on it and it was absolutely delicious. I really do love spicy foods and the pepper oil had a bold kick to it so I would caution against it if you can't really handle spicy foods. The beers were a nice compliment to their pizzas. The dough was nice, thin, crispy, but also perfectly chewy. The dim lighting of the restaurant was very relaxed but intimate feeling. We'll definitely be returning!

When you walk into Dodici you are greeted by a dim dining room that would be suitable for parties of all sizes, to order you can walk up to the counter and their service is quici and courteous I gotta say. To me this is the best pizza I've had in Sacramento area so far - the crust is on a whole nother level compared to every other place. Very crisp but a nice slight chew for that mouth feel, the toppings feel very intentional and well balanced not too fatty not too greasy not too salty it really makes you appreciate each ingredient. They have a variety of options and I believe two daily specials. I got one of their daily specials and thought about it all night. Would come back!

Went for a late Friday lunch . A deliciously pleasant experience thank you so much! The food was yummy and the service was bright and quick. We loved the feel of the restaurant. Had a very easy bay sort of vibe to it in terms of where you might find a spot like that. Right here in Sac! I will definitely see you all again

This place is a hidden gem, it's owned by the same folks who own Adamos (some of the best pasta in Sac). This is a little neighborhood pizza joint that brings you fun fresh flavors in a very casual place. Parking was a bit tricky, but not impossible. Seating is first come first serve, you get a menu and order at the counter. Each table has flavored olive oils to pair with the pizza, the garlic one was my favorite. The pizza is fairly thin crust and the type of slice that falls apart when you pick it up, but it was DELICIOUS. Definitely come give this place a try before it gets super popular and crowded.

    Great slice!

Want great authentic Italian pizza? Go to Dodici Pizzeria!! They have great flavors and don't depend on cheese to carry the flavor, rather use it in a balanced way to enhance all the amazing ingredients. Jackson, the Manager, knows his business and provides great service in this sweet, quaint pizzeria.

Tiramisu is amazing in a jar and no sharing is allow after the first bite for me lol. . The Estiva - 13" pizza which is a great size to share, yellow tomato sauce never seen or heard of it and it was authentic and amazing flavor. mozzarella, parma ham is thin slice and not salty. fig jam was amazing and goes so well with the pizza. Love the toasted almonds on top which was a cherry on the top. Also love the fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil which just makes the pizza way more flavorful. . Campagnola - refreshing salad with zucchini, pomegranate, mint, basil, black pepper, white vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, salt, it was a refreshing salad and it was a first with using zucchini as a salad and it was amazing and simple and quick clean recipe. . Over all the service was amazing. They were informative. Also worked hard and quick on the feet with bringing out fresh made to order pizza. Love the fresh sparkling blood orange soda in there too. Ambiance is quick casual quiet spot for some good dine in specialty made to order. Hope this helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

Pizza was amazing! Definitely comes out piping hot and best time to eat it. We loved it and can't wait to go back again to try other pizzas.

I thought i was only going to have a slice or two of each. Ended up eating them both. No help needed.

Strolled in on a busy Saturday night ordered my Calabrese special pizza and sat down waiting for my pie. I had to move tables as they had people dining in which I gladly gave up my seat since I was taking my pizza to go. I got onto my phone and was doing some work when all of a sudden I look up and the people that were sitting at the table, I was asked to move from we're already halfway done with their pizza. Mind you I was there a good 10 minutes before they walked in and no pizza. When I inquired, they said that my pizza order was just put in. I understand this place is new and there are kinks but this was just totally unacceptable. I was there over 40 minutes and they just put my pizza in. I couldn't wait so I got my refund and left. Being at national PI day I really wanted to try this place since their sister restaurant has rave reviews. Maybe I'll try them again during the week when they're not so busy, but this was not a good start for them. I will say the pizza did smell amazing but I just couldn't sit there and wait. Hope they can do better.

    One more for the road!

Best pizza in Sacramento. The crust is thin, the ingredients taste fresh, and the pizza feels authentic.

Though they are square, they have the taste and texture of a traditional triangle slice of pizza. Usually the square styles are a bit too doughy and thick, but they somehow found a way to keep each slice on the thinner side and easy to eat. On my visit I had the cheese pizza... and this is no ordinary cheese! I as thinking it might be a very good version of the plain cheese pizza, but not so. This one had dollops of mozzarella for each slice as well as fresh basil. These ingredients really upped the game in terms of giving the pizza a more premium taste and feel. You can get pizza by the slice (on certain kinds, including the special they have at the time). I wanted to give the pepperoni a try and it was also very enjoyable. It wasn't overloaded with pepperoni. Each slice had the perfect amount! I also recommend trying the different sauces they have available. They have ranch, a green sauce, as well as a hot honey. All are excellent, though personally I prefer the green sauce and the hot honey over the ranch. The restaurant itself is cute and has an old school vibe. It's really fun to eat inside at one of the tables. I found the service to be top notch and friendly which just made the whole experience great. In fact, i gave this place an extra star just for the wait staff. Other than that, i would rate their entrees...as decent, but there is room for improvement to help raise the bar. Hence 3.5 stars overall Appetizers: 1) fried raviolis - not bad, filled with spinach and ricotta and arrived with marinara dipping sauce 2) fried calamari- too much coating which over powered the delicacy of the squid. Plus, it arrived cold. It came with two dipping sauces which helped. Entrees: 1) Two pies: Sicilian and soppresaata & hot honey: both pies were decent, arrived straight from the oven 2) farmers market salad: very fresh greens, tender pieces of chicken but was missing the fresh corn. 3) spaghetti w/meatballs: nice entree with a mild sauce, but meatballs tasted more filler than actual meat. And the garlic bread was cold 4) rigatoni aka vodka: very nice entree and our diner ordered it with gluten free pasta 5) spaghetti parmesano: entree looked great when it arrived- mild sauce w/al dente noodles but the chicken was over cooked and even dry with a layer of mozzarella that didn't help. And again arrived with cold garlic bread. Would i return? in a few years. but the service was good which made our evening. However i wish all the pasta entrees and calamari appetizer were as good as their pies.
