The parking is challenging but would take it on any day to have the most magical doughnuts ever! These are different than all other doughnuts I've tried. They're fluffy, not greasy & not overly sweet. Outstanding! They sorta dissolve in your mouth, leaving you wanting more. read more

Do-nut pass this up! We took a long ride today, and had a craving for a sweet treat. So lucky, we stopped at SK's, not knowing exactly what to expect. Yay, it made us so happy. I selected Bear Claws, Apple Fritters, and a Maple Bar. The server threw in a Blueberry donut. The server was very friendly and receptive to my silliness. I got into the car and I ate 1 Apple Fritter, my hubby ate the Maple Bar, feeling very satisfied, we started up the car and went on our merry way. What a YUMMY surprise, we were describing our treats to each other and agreed that we made the best choice of our day. The treats were delicious, just enough sweetness, and flavors were easily tasted in each of our dessert delights. The server was so sweet and friendly, she understood totally the need for sweet! Don't pass this delicious store without taking home some great treats. The store is pleasant and clean. Yes, one way parking, easy in and out. My go to donut shop. Friendly and efficient service - they are always smiling and know their regulars. They add in donut holes for free when ordering a dozen, more when ordering 2, 3, 4, etc. dozen. I have yet to eat a donut that was not tasty. Can't go wrong coming here. read more

I tried this donut spot located at 1129 S. Coast Hwy. in Oceanside. It was a nice surprise to enjoy some great donuts and to find out about the history of this place. It's a family on business, and it's been going strong for 40 years. What a big accomplishment this is for any business. This is the best donut shop around! I've tried donuts from almost everywhere and this is the one place I'd go out of my way to come back to! SK's donuts is great! I think Leucadia Donuts is still the best donut shop in San Diego but I loved SK's goods!! This hole in the wall has fluffy warm classic donuts and flavors, affordable prices and friendly staff. A lot of locals stop by here for a quick donut. So, don't be surprised if you have trouble finding parking in the small lot located in front of the donut shop. My favorite donut out of the bunch was definitely the apple fritter and the glazed donut. I would definitely come back here again for a quick fix box of donuts. Although I'm on a diet, so maybe just one donut :) read more

Stopped by this place on my way to work at 5:00am to grab a dozen donuts, they were so warm and fresh. I ordered bavarian cream filled and the chocolate was still soft and melty. SK's Donuts keeps getting better and better! Just read the reviews! In case you missed the update, they take credit and debit cards now. It seems like no matter who visits here they always get friendly service and some free goodies. I'm usually the one rolling out of bed on the weekends to pick up whatever breakfast cravings we have. Today my husband surprised me and went to SK's Donuts to get all our favorites. My Croissant sandwich #5 was the most massive and beautiful I've ever had. It has all the meats: ham, sausage and bacon. Plus cheese and fried egg. And so adorable, they included two donut holes in the box. Sweetness! My husband got his usual ham and cheese croissant and then a huge box of donuts. All the filled varieties which I love, a free apple fritter and more free donut holes. Plus his buttermilk bars that he can't live without. Today's buttermilk bars had this extra curl of dough on the top which made them even bigger than normal. So happy to have this donut gem in Oceanside! read more

Holy cow this is place is amazing. Very unassuming? Yes. Hole in the wall? Yes. No frills? Yes. But the doughnuts are amazingly fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. I love SK dounts! I go here all the time and its just the best. I usally order the chocolate long john dount, but I recently tried the blueberry and its my new order. The staff is so nice and friendly and I've always gotten a free handful of their delicious glazed dount holes. I highly reccomend SK dounts if you are ever in Oceanside. Although they may just be classic dounts I would argue that they rival Parlour Dounts. read more

Hubby was seriously craving a donut. Of course it was Christmas Day and just about everywhere is closed. Looked up on Yelp and saw this place closed in 8 minutes and we were about 4 minutes away. Might have broken a few traffic laws, but we made it there on time. The donuts were so good. Was not surprised to see their high rating on Yelp. This time, I tired the Baja wrap and it was really lacking flavor and was overwhelmed with guacamole. We ordered my son the kids grilled cheese, which was decent for him. We added a side of avocado for him and to my disappointment again, it was mashed avocado in a bowl instead of freshly sliced as I was envisioning. I will give it one more chance when I am able to eat the cold deli meat and see if those sandwiches are better for me.

This donut shop is seriously one of the best around. The donuts are always fresh, soft, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The blueberry donut is a standout -- perfectly sweet with just the right texture. The bear claw and apple fritter are also excellent, with great flavor and a satisfying balance of sweetness. The most perfect donuts ever! Even though I don't live in my hometown of Oceanside anymore, I compare every donut I have to SK's. They're so fluffy and exactly what you want a donut to be. The maple bars and glazed twists are my favorite. The employees are so friendly, they always throw in some donut holes or a free donut.
