If I'm not mistaken, this was formerly Imperial Buffet sushi and grille and they relocated to the plaza next door to the old establishment. There will be a sign that points right to the new location. Located about 45-50 mins from Boston. The new location has definitely upgraded in terms of decor and atmosphere -- very bright and fitting for all ages. The food selection has stayed the same offering selections as every chinese buffet has ever offered. They also have a sushi, stir fry and oyster station. What can I say about the food -- its going to happen, you'll find some things you enjoy or manage to eat and then other items will repulse you. Such as the clam chowder -- no lie but it was basically a tapioca dessert. I've seen worse buffets offering only 5-7 selections but this buffet in particular has a lot of offer for their price. Worst food ever. The cheapest quality you get. Sushi was stuff with uncooked rice. Seafood was not fresh and soggy. Fruit like orange was bitter not sure why. We visited this place to dine in Saturday night 7/23/2016. Food items were edible but lacked flavor. The place has a sushi bar, but you can only order up to two rolls at the time so if you re a sushi lover to have to come back several times. The guy at the sushi bat was no where to be found so he showed up out of no where after 10 minutes. Everyone waiting were upset for this. After he took some orders he put on some gloves to start the preparation. He sneezed so close to the food items in the prep table. Some patrons just walked away since the guy did not turned around or made an effort to make over his mouth. My friend had ordered some sushi but the rice was overlooked and dry, no flavor, no finesse and the rolls were too small. The ice cream was not frozen Enugu, it seemed that one was serving dough instead of ice cream. And the prices are crazy. $20 per person. In my party we were 2 adults and two teenagers 24 and 11. We've been here several times and the food is decent, but tonight will be our last time there. EVERY time we go, the sushi chef is so darn unpleasant. He expects customers to tip first and and if you do, he'll be nice. If you don't, he'll give you biggest attitude. I thought tipping is the result of good service and not the other way around? Silly me.... Tonight, I was there with my family (3 of us). We each placed one order of sushi. Nothing fancy, 1 California roll, 1 spicy Salmon, and 1 Tuna. We waited while he made the rolls. He literally slammed the plates down when finished with the 1st two rolls and told us to come back 10 mins later for the 3rd - what? Why? And this guy expects a tip?!?! Way better than imperial buffet. They have such a large selection of food it's unbelievable. Not everything tastes good but a lot of it does. I really liked the fresh fruit, coconut shrimp, and the freshly shucked oysters. Unfortunately I didn't get to try any of the sushi. The only downside is it's really expensive. Worst experience ever...boyfriend and I were not impressed with the buffet. Tasteless, lukewarm food. The coconut shrimp was just a white blob. Lo mein was mushy. What we tried was either rubbery and mushy or hard as a rock. We both went home with a stomachache. Love this place! It is our family's usual chinese spot when I visit my Mom in Franklin. The new location is awesome! Beautiful, spacious, and well run. The service is efficient and polite. They keep the buffet clean and well stocked, and clear your plates quickly. I have lots of favorites but I usually stay away from the fish items and mac & cheese. Not as enjoyable. The sushi is decent, nothing to write home about. The wasabi is not very strong, you might need more than usual. Overall, always a great experience and I leave very full. I really don't understand the negative review that people have left on the restaurant. Very clean, the staff are friendly and there is a large variety of both Chinese, American and sushi options. To be honest I joined Yelp to post this review in order to help other diners make a better decision. Tried Sky buffet on a whim on a slow Tuesday night with my fiancé. We have had Chinese/Cantonese food from other places in the Milford area and wanted to try Sky. Big mistake. Hot tray selection is very small for what you would call normal "Americanized" Chinese food, with lots of random buffet items mixed in. Food quality was generally terrible. Most of the food is obviously pre-frozen bulk ordered items that have been sitting in steam trays for way too long. We tried the chicken wings, crab rangoons, dumplings, fried "shrimp?", teriyaki beef, and general tsos chicken. I'll be honest, nothing was good. We each served ourselves only one plate and didn't even finish that. We did not sample the sushi or the hibachi options as we simply wanted to leave. I understand the nature of large scale food buffets and it was my own fault for going here. The staff was polite and the restaurant itself is very clean and well lit. There were plenty of the usual Chinese buffet selection. They did have alot of seafood to offer which was nice. Good luck trying to get some crab legs. Some of the food were a bit dry, like the beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki and lamb. The lo mein noodles and fried rice were a bit mushy. Service was ok, they picked up the plates often. They needed more people in the habachi and raw bar. They had one guy doing both so when I went to get a habachi meal done he put my stuff on the grill then began to shuck for about 8 people leaving my food to become burnt and tough because he took so long. Just about everything they have is tasty. However, very much of what they have is chicken. There's really not a big variety of anything other than chicken in different forms and rice/soup. I have been going to Imperial Buffet in Shrewburry since 2007 - which is 8 years. Then they opened up a location in Milford and then moved to Sky buffet. We didn't mind the 1 hour and a half drive. Believe me, I have tried all the buffets nearby. This one and Minado are the best in the state. However, the price at this place is only half and their food offering is awesome. Unlike other buffets with the same price range, the owner made every effort to bring food as frequently as possible. They manage the place really well. I would recommend this to anyone, based on my 8 years experience as a customer here. read more

Cleanliness is an issue. Waiting for sushi and sushi "chef" (I use the term very loosely) smacks the raw bar guy on the butt with his gloved hand, then continues to make sushi! What if raw bar guy went to the restroom, dropped trou, and his butt pants ended up in pee spray? I alerted the manager and she chastised him right away. Sky buffet is great for seafood and sushi. The sushi is fresh and they offer a wide selection. The wait staff is friendly and kind. They offer my kids cookies when we go there. I have been eating this place since it was Imperial Buffet (located near by). Since it moved with a new name, the quality of the food goes down hill. I had dinner on Fri 18th Sep 2015. This would be the last time i will eat at this place. All seafood quality were very bad. Food taste was lower than any Chinese places you eat. Even hot and sour soup was terrible! I mentioned this to the owner since she remember me and my family. She just said ..um.. um. That's it. Not even apologize for the poor quality / taste of the food. Most of the entrees were cold and the meats were tough like they had been pre-cooked the day before.
