This is one of my favorite go to buffet. They offer a good selection of food( crawfish, crabs, shrimp.. etc). They also have made to order sushi along with oysters. I go for the seafood and sushi. Watched one woman eat from the buffet as she was filling her plate. They can scrimp on what they put out and at times you wonder about their cleanliness. It has a fantastic selection, including a great seafood section: oysters, sushi, crawfish, mussels, baked cod, etc. if you want your money's worth, I'd say stick to these. Omg- we tried this place a whole group of us on a weekend and they literally did not have much to choose from because they didn't fill up left over pans. So we tried what we could - big mistake. If you like to sit on a toilet for long extended periods of time, then this place is for you. We all felt sick after it. Just bring the Imodium AD if you do go and chug a half bottle of pepto prior and you should be good to go. Definitely not worth the money. I love me some Chinese buffet and after dining here I have to say that I love this buffet. Just to be honest, the Chinese food at this buffet is average, but I don't come for the rice and lo mein, I come for the seafood. The oysters, shrimp, crabs, octopus and all the other shellfish were amazing and after eating 15 freshly shucked oysters I had to stop or I would have embarrassed myself. In the end, I have no complaints about this restaurant. The staff was great, the food was great, the restaurant was comfortable and I look forward to eating here again in the near future! read more

It's important to keep in mind that you cannot go comparing the place to $50 casino buffets, or the food to your favorite restaurant in Chinatown or wherever it is you fancy. It's ridiculous people review this place and compares it so in their head. With that being said, relative to other classic Chinese buffets in Massachusetts, I dare say this has to be the best one. It has the largest selection relative to other Chinese buffets in this state, the interior is not too shabby (very spacious and clean), and the food is decent. The quality of the food could be better, but for what you pay for, I think it's great. (when comparing to other Chinese buffets available, I cannot stress this point enough.) I come here maybe once every 2 months or so, when I feel like eating enough food to feed a small nation. Service wise, I never had a problem with the place. Smaller than some of the buffets I've been to. The food is pretty good for the price. They have hibachi and a sushi section. Extremely friendly staff. Food can sometimes be a hit or miss because it depends on the flow of business but the beauty of a buffet is if an item is dried out, you can try something else. Plenty of variety including oysters on the half shell. This is a large, very clean restaurant with a wide variety of offerings. Staff works in teams and as a result are very efficient and proactive. The only negative I encountered was when they refill soft drinks they remove you glass and top it off from the soda fountain in the wait station which If it isn't against the local health code, it should be. Went there around 3pm on Labor Day was a holiday special for 15.95. Nothing I ate was hot slightly warmer than room temp. The sushi was not good got a spicy tuna roll and it looked horrible , splotchy rice and the tuna was some paste out of a tub sitting on the counter I was scared to eat it. This is our second time going to this place, the first time we were here it was good, it was busy and food seemed to be fresh. The second time went for lunch on Monday, very dissapointing, there were empty platters and noone rushed to reflill it, everything was reheated many times, soggy items that supposed to be crisp, salmon has lost the color many days ago...even the fruit stand had old fruit...disguisting, things have been sitting there seemed for days...we left and felt kind of sick, hard digestion after that food. This place is accurately rated at 1.5 stars. The food is barely edible. I hate sounding so harsh, but I felt compelled to warn my fellow Yelpers. The food was mostly lukewarm, and some of it was borderline cold. I had to force myself to eat some if it since someone else was treating me to dinner. I recommend watching for the fresh food items coming out from the kitchen and then choosing those to eat, or else your food will be cold. The leg of lamb was downright rancid. I almost had to spit it out in my napkin because lamb should NOT taste like that. The ice cream scoopers are sitting in a tub of still water that everyone shares. I didn't dare try the sushi or raw bar. The best item here is the make-your-own stir fry, since it cooked in front of you and hot. The first thing you see when you go up to the buffet is a warning sign that if you waste any food they will charge you an extra $10 a plate,that kills the experience right there. Oh, my... Where to begin? I tried to sample as much as possible, but I could only handle so much of the mediocrity. Nothing on the buffet was worth eating. One dish, labeled "Spicy Shrimp" was actually batter-fried squid, which was too tough to cut with a knife. What is the purpose of seasoning the outside of shrimp that has not been peeled and de-veined? To the best of my knowledge, chitin is not permeable to pepper and panko crumbs. The best thing I tried was a California roll, which was average at best. The fish at the sushi station had an unsafe appearance (first time I ever refused sushi). As I write this at my table, my stomach is tightening as if to say, "No more!" I would have taken a photo of the sorry food, but I didn't want my phone's OS to contract a virus. Typically I would wait until the check comes, such as to comment on the value, but what would you normally pay for a meal that you regret eating? I'm longing for the hunger pain I felt on my way in to replace my current discomfort. I can't wait to get back to my hotel so I can wash the taste (and memory) of this experience away with a double IPA. Why two stars? This is my family's usual first place to go to since we usually go eat on the weekends with my aunt and uncle as well as my cousins. Even though it's a hike from home, it's cheap and the food is decent. The reasons we go here are for the stewed clams, crawfish, raw oysters, raw clams, as well as their mayo coconut shrimp and drum roll please THE FRIES!! I don't know why but I really like the fries here, they have almost a thin layer of batter on top of the potatoes and they're not greasy and stuff. They're perfectly seasoned for me! I know it's weird but the fries are my main reason for going here. They also have a grilling station where you can get the items you picked grilled. Another thing is the sushi is made to order by some really nice chefs who tend to be extra nice if you tip! Generally it's a really nice place since they moved down the street.
