I am not a pushover nor an idiot and these people thought I was. I needed a fill and they had my color. It looked different on their manican hand because they didn't put a clear solar powder over the glitter red powder and then buff so it cuts the glitter to where you see silver. I know this because I had a nail fixed and they forgot the clear solar nail and had to redo my red glitter solar nails at a different shop. They told me that I have a different powder and that they don't do that clear solar over the nail and told me that I had to get a new set. They tried to play me for a fool.... I am not a fool, sorry! I left and got a second opinion from an honest nail tech elsewhere and they told me I was right. Only reason I give it 2 stars is because I love getting pedicures here but I frown upon dishonesty. read more

I can't believe this! I would give them a better rating because the environment was nice and the lady that did my feet was sweet but the fact that I told them exactly what services I wanted and was told they could do it, only to turn around and tell me after 1/2 my service was done that they could not do the other service! First time here and I am impress! Jessica the owner greeted me. I was a walk in and she asked what I was in for. Showed her a picture of what I had in mind for my nails and she showed me the colors they had available. As I was looking she went and got a nail tech. Sam was the nail tech who helped me and he was awesome. He made conversation with me and made sure I was comfortable. He made sure I liked everything about my nails every step of the way (length, shape, color). He was constantly checking to make sure everything was even and I appreciated that. Most nail salons I've been to are not that attentive they rush to get you in and out and move on to the next client. What really sold me on this place was, Jessica told me as I was paying, to come back within a week if anything was to happen to my nails i.e. they chip, break, crack anything to come back and they will repair it for me. Went in for a French manicure and a pedicure. Pedicure was wonderful, though I think the extra attention was to make up for the terrible job my manicurist was doing. He cut my cuticles twice and then continued to spray alcohol on it several times, he also dropped the uv light on top of my nails, and when I noticed a huge dent/smudge on my middle nail, he tried to blame it on me saying I moved it around too much. I'm very disappointed with the service here. I have been coming for several months and now will never return. read more

I was thrilled at first when Sky Nails opened, as the owner, Jessica, and several others were my favorite technicians across the street at Upscale Nails. I began going to Sky when they first opened and I was thrilled-great service, same nail techs I loved, etc. I recommended it to my friends, took others there with me, etc. Over the course of the last year this place has gone down hill-the technician that I loved still works there but doesn't do nails anymore, so I was pawned off on another technician who still did good work-oh wait - until yesterday when she sliced my skin open with a nail file and made me bleed pretty good. Sky Nails offers a "punch card" and on the card it states one punch per $15 service- or above-after 10 services you get $10 off. Not a huge deal but if you are already going there and spending the $$ anyway you might as well use it and save a little. So each time I go in and get a pedi and fill its close to $80-2 punches right? Well, each time the owner would punch my card 1 time-after I just got at LEAST 2 services WELL over $15 each. I had to ask each time "did you give me two punches?" her reply "no only one." Then she would relent and punch my card correctly. Yesterday was the LAST straw! I went in, got a fill, callous remover and massage $50 total. The lady punched my card once and I again asked for her to add the second. She says something to the owner in Vietnamese and the owner chimes in and says "We only give one punch for a fill" and my reply "I got a fill and a callous remover and massage. your card says one punch per $15 service. But if it means that much to you that's fine" I laid both of my half finished punch cards on the desk and told them that I don't need their punch cards because I will not be back. I am floored at the lack of customer service and the greediness of these folks. If you are going to offer a punch card, offer one-and abide by the terms you set forth on them. Seriously, you are talking about a $10 discount after my 10 punches which cost me well over $500! I WILL NOT BE BACK! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! Great place! Clean, fair prices, friendly staff- remembered me from my last visit. Love how they take their time to make my pedicures look nice. It lasts awhile too, the last time I went was over 3 weeks ago and my toenails still looked good when I went back today. They have a menu to choose from with their services and prices listed.
