I recently hosted my child's birthday party here, and while the facility itself has some strengths, the overall party-hosting experience fell well short of what was advertised. Pros     *    The facility is generally in good condition.     *    It is noticeably less crowded than some other trampoline parks, according to several of our guests.     *    The staff members we interacted with were friendly and courteous in general. Cons     *    Communication between the corporate booking system and local management appears poorly coordinated.     *    Reaching the local facility was frustrating. Their voicemail was frequently full, preventing messages from being left. Once, I was able to leave a voicemail, no one returned the call.     *    Even during posted business hours, calls often routed to a recording instructing customers to call back during business hours.     *    Management seemed reactive rather than proactive and showed little attention to detail throughout the planning process.     *    Cleanliness could be improved. For example, there was no floor mat beneath the urinals, leaving the restroom floor wet and resulting in guests running back throughout the facility. Why This Earned a 3-Star Rating? Because Sky Zone operates as a franchise, much of the customer experience depends on local management. The booking process itself is handled through the corporate website, where customers select party packages, food, beverages, and event timing. After the reservation is made, customers are directed to work with the local facility for all event-specific details. In theory, this should be straightforward. In practice, it was not. Our assigned party host never appeared for the entire event. A replacement host was assigned only shortly before the party began, leaving little opportunity to discuss details or confirm expectations. My child specifically wanted extended jump time (90 minutes rather than the standard 60 minutes), and although this was discussed beforehand, several aspects of our plans ultimately defaulted back to standard procedures without much consideration for our requests. The experience wasn't a disaster, and my child had fun.  Now that I understand how this location operates, I would be better prepared if I returned. However, the promise of being able to "Party Like a Boss" feels more like marketing than reality. As matter of fact, mentioning about the missing host, the management never talked to us.  If you're looking for a simple, less-crowded trampoline park, this location may be fine. If you're hoping for a well-organized, stress-free birthday party where the staff handles the details so you can relax and enjoy the celebration, you may find the experience falls short of expectations. read more

We really like this trampoline park. We have enjoyed birthday parties here as well as just regular jumping. If you were planning on going more than once, the elite membership pays off. We spent over $75 for two people to jump on a Saturday night only to be allowed one hour -- without being told in advance. My son and his girlfriend arrived at 7:00 pm, paid full price ($28.99 each plus $7 socks), and were checked in by busy staff who never informed them that their time would be cut short because of Glow Night at 8:00 pm. When 8:00 came, they were told they had to leave -- no warning, no choice, no accommodation. They were literally kicked out. Had they been told, they would have simply waited for the next session. Instead, they lost most of what they paid for. And it ruined their night. When I contacted the manager, Jack, he refused to offer any resolution -- no partial refund, no credit, no future jump time -- and insisted this is "not something we offer." No compensation, no customer service. He also claimed his staff must have warned them they only had an hour, which is not true. My son was never told this. As I said, they'd have waited for the next session. That is not customer service -- that is taking people's money without clearly disclosing what they are paying for. This was a simple situation to fix. Giving them one hour at a later date would have cost Sky Zone nothing and would have shown basic respect for their customers -- but they chose to do nothing. We came back because hours were more convenient than Urban air. Paid roughly $90 for adult and 2 kids. Forget anything fun, most attractions are closed, except trampolines in back. I've been going to sky zone so many times, but Saturday had to be my worst experience yet. The second we walked in the place it was packed. The line at the and food bar were way too long. There was only one kid who like she was trying to work both at the same time. people online were getting angry and one guy even yelled at her( like she could do something about it.) three weeks ago I went in and it was about the same. They nickel and dime you; kick the kids off the court the second the 60 mins of play time is up (I paid for the platinum package) and service was insulting at best. There are better options in Bergen County. Save your money and don't go here. So, here's the inside info. 1. You DO NOT get the party room for the time you booked the party for. The party space is ONLY available for the 40 mins to cut the cake and eat and you are promptly kicked out of it. They tell you that it's written in the contract but I thought if kids were thirsty, we would have access to the party room for that. We were told no. Bring your own water or drink from the water fountain. 2. We requested an extra 30 mins and after paying $5 per kid, the manager (Jack) told every kid that they could only go play after the party room time had ended and needed to leave exactly at the 30 min point. And to our dismay, the kids were kicked out promptly. 3. I had ordered 5 pizza pies, 1 large chicken tenders , 1 large Chicken wings and 1 large fries. All costing me $400. ($18 Pizza). This was on top of the platinum package. After paying nearly $1000 for the platinum package and the food combined, I have to say that the organisation of the party, awful management and horrid customer experience, this place is a rip off and has terrible party planning. The Allendale Sky Zone is a fun place to be, especially glow night from 7-9 pm. Some kids were fooling around and decided to through liquids around the trampoline park. All of the workers handled this situation appropriately. I give extra credit to the manager Erica who directed everyone to clean the mess up accordingly. Have been coming here for over a year with my family, and yesterday was the first time we've seen the place busy all year. Well, we were also the only minority there. I say this to add that we were told our 1 year old needed a ticket to jump after she had already started jumping. Since when? (we had two other older children with us) We have been here multiple times and I have NEVER had to buy my baby a ticket. Amusement parks don't even require tickets for babies. Supposedly this has "always been the rule", but let me guess it's only enforced when we're the minority. We had a bad experience, went with my 4 and 6 year old who were playing Dodgeball where all of a sudden after a while of both playing the manager pulls my 4 year old off the court. There weren't many kids or other Dodgeball games for younger kids so there was not much else to do. I asked for the place to give me a refund for leaving a half hour early since they wouldn't let one of my kids participate in the Dodgeball game. This is a great place to bring your kids if you want to watch them cry and get hurt. In the hour that I spent here, I witnessed no less than 6 different children crying because of injuries. The staff are mostly teen kids that just don't seem to want to enforce the rules. I witnessed various violations (children climbing on the netting, doing more than two single flips in a row, being hit in the head, etc) of the rules in front of staff without any attempt to correct the behavior. A trampoline center? Nestled in a corporate park in the commercial section of Allendale? Really? Well yes Gracie ... and in an odd sort of way it works. This is certainly a reasonable alternative to other supervised large group children's birthday parties. Our 9 year old loved his two recent experiences here. Not sure how well it ports to executive retreats as advertised in their literature -- but ok. There is something fresh about kids playing dodge ball on commercial sized trampolines. But there must be some inherent hazard of injury though -- judging from the blizzard of releases and disclaimers you must sign as a condition to admission. My 9 year old son was harassed by a 13/14 year old Caucasian boy who apparently is a member of sky zone and yet we were told to leave the facility. My husband was annoyed and told the boy to mind his business and leave my son alone. I guess because we're not sky zone members and are Hispanic we offer the consequences. While this other kid get the red carpet treatment. To make matters worse it was my daughters birthday. We went on a Groupon deal and I have to say it was more fun than I thought it would be. This is basically a large warehouse-type room sectioned off into different trampoline areas. There are sections for dodge ball, volleyball, basketball, a jump pit into foam cubes, and a large area where you can just jump around. Everything is clean and new and they have staff posted in each of the areas. If you are there with kids, there isn't much else to do while waiting, except sit in the observation area overlooking the trampolines and go to the small snack bar. Redeeming our Group on couldn't have been easier. If you buy your ticket online you can reserve a time but Groupon is first come first served. There is a board that shows how many spots are available and when we went there was plenty of room. To save time, fill out an online waiver form before you come and print it out, to show when you check in. Otherwise you have to stand at a computer kiosk and fill it out. The sessions are one hour long and start every half hour, so you can time your arrival accordingly. Trampolining is very tiring. For us, the ideal session was an hour followed by a half hour rest and something to drink at the snack bar, then another hour. read more

First things first, when we walked in, the girl at the kiosk had a clear disdain and disinterest in serving me and my daughter but I chose to ignore her attitude. As we come in after paying full price, I notice half of the establishment is closed. I proceed to the food area and I saw a sign saying it's temporarily closed but I wanted to make sure. Got a groupon deal and it didn't mentioned that you have to purchase their socks (which they claim has the traction and is made for such activities) for additional $2 per person and also the sales tax is paid at entry. You can't jump with your own personal socks! The place is fun and great way to burn some calories. There's a few dodgeball courts, a foam jump, basketball jump and a big jump area. We did the open jump which on weekdays (closed Monday) begins at 4pm. The place gets busy on weekdays at 4pm but if you come between 5 to 6pm, the place slowly dies down and you can enjoy the place more as there's more room and less waiting time to do certain activities. The weekends are probably busiest so must avoid. There is a snack stand but like admission fee, it's overpriced. I guess it's because sky zone and jump arenas are new to NJ. The jump arenas in Texas is so much bigger and cheaper plus you don't need to purchase their socks. read more

Sarah the manager: There are only 4 dodgeball courts in this place. If two of them are reserved for private parties, and two are for older kids, where do the smaller kids play? When most of the kids coming here are the smaller ones! Obviously there's nowhere for kids around 6yrs to play dodgeball since the space is not being managed properly. I was told to wait until a court is opened without regard of time when we are paying by half hour increments. I was constantly told that I should look at the sign the reads no guarantees for dodgeball as if I can't read. It's obviously a miss allocation of space issue. It really sucks paying for nothing and getting a shitty response from management when we come here at least once a week. Change in management seems to be necessary in this location. read more

My friends and I bought groupons but ended up getting there on a blackout date, which was random because it was a Wednesday. Ah well, that was my friend's fault for not reading the fine print. Tramp park should be illegal, the pads separating the trampolines are worthless, steel in between jump pads and under padding, with the evolution of these parks this old way of (indoor amusement) should be illegal, try looking at Woodward there leaders in the industry, they know how to pad in between trampolines, kids are and already have going to get hurt, the pads are very easily manipulated when jumping around you can even lift them up with your hands and it reveals the sharp steel structures that are by no means even with the jumping pad.
