Tramp park should be illegal, the pads separating the trampolines are worthless, steel in between jump pads and under padding, with the evolution of these parks this old way of (indoor amusement) should be illegal, try looking at Woodward there leaders in the industry, they know how to pad in between trampolines, kids are and already have going to get hurt, the pads are very easily manipulated when jumping around you can even lift them up with your hands and it reveals the sharp steel structures that are by no means even with the jumping pad. TERRIBLE place to go. The customer service was HORRIBLE. I went to celebrate my son's 2nd birthday here on February 15, 2020 and I was so disappointed. I was told I couldn't bring my cake inside unless I rented the party room for $100 dollars for 1 hour which was a total rip off. The site doesn't say you have to book a room in order to bring in a cake. I got this from there site. "Outside food is prohibited. No outside food or drinks such as chips or juice boxes will be allowed in Sky Zone Allendale with the exception of birthday cake, ice cream cake, or cupcakes. If there are any allergies or religious food needs, please contact the Events Department asap." On top of them not allowing me to bring in my cake the staff was horrible to my guest in which I paid for them to jump and they were not allowing them to jump and have a good time with their children. I even had someone say something to me while I was holding my child. We sign waivers and then they tell you that you can't jump with your own child. As a parent I would not put my child in danger to get hurt. They not even deserve a star rating because the services was HORRIBLE. read more

Awful experience at toddler time. I told them it was our first time. Just me and my 21 month old daughter. The girl who checked us in was very nice but didn't explain anything. She asked me if I wanted to jump. I said not really but I want to be able to help my daughter bc she's young and very small. I said I want to hold her hand and help her jump so whatever I need to do. So they charged me $20 ($10 each). Okay so we get in there and within 2 min I'm told I'm not allowed to "share a square" with her and help her jump. I'm like okay but I paid to be able to jump. They said I have to stand on the hard part if I want to hold her hands (obv the middle is the best area for jumping and if I'm on the hard part then she's at the edge). They said if I want to jump then I can jump away from my daughter. Uh no thanks she's not even 2, we are here for her, not me. So okay then I help her jump into her foam pit and she loves it but she keeps getting stuck so I'm sitting there helping her. They then tell me I have to get out and I'm not allowed in the foam pit w the kids. I was like ok this is ridiculous. I asked who will help her then? They said if she gets stuck they will help her. I'm like she's permanently stuck as she is 21 months and unable to navigate through the foam. She needs help. So we leave the area and go in the back with the balls and all the trampolines. I'm again told not to share squares. Meanwhile there are plenty of people sharing squares and not even wearing stickers which is supposedly not even allowed. I asked someone working there about these rules and she had no idea, she said she's only worked there for a week. Okay whatever. After another person wouldn't let me help my child, I had enough. I asked to speak to a manager and things got even worse. I wish I knew her name. She was young and suuuuper rude/condescending. She just kept telling me I should've read the rules by the foam pit. Keep in mind, by the time I reached the foam pit I had already paid anyway so even if I had stopped my toddler from excitedly running to the trampolines to read the massive list of rules, it would've been too late. That's why their staff should be able to briefly explain them BEFORE i pay. If I knew I wasn't allowed to help her in any way, I obviously wouldn't have stayed. She told me that I actually am allowed in the foam pit, but I'm not allowed to jump in it. I said ok I definitely didn't jump in it at all, and I was absolutely forced to leave anyway. I told her to talk to her staff bc they made me leave and I did not jump in. She just kept talking as if I didn't say that. She said there are rules on all of the screens. I looked up at the screen and saw images of children jumping. I asked where are these rules? And she slowly counted each large screen in the area as if I was an idiot. I said thanks but where are the rules?? All I see are kids jumping! She said they come on eventually. She was just nasty. Talked like a robot "I am sorry you weren't satisfied with your experience" on repeat. Couldn't have been more obvious that she didn't care at all whatsoever. To be fair, she did refund me the $20, but honestly her nasty attitude was so offensive I will never return, not even when my daughter is old enough to jump without me. We went 2 times and the second time was worse than the first experience. It is not the cheapest place in the world but that is okay. The thing that gives this 1 star is all the rules. You pay top dollar and sign about 1k different waivers (totally understand) but than you are constantly yelled at by the teenage staff. They told me I cannot be in the same trampoline square as my 2 year old daughter. I cannot hold her and jump. I cannot jump too high!!!! that is what I was told!! Went here with 6yr and 3yr old kids. And we ALL had a great time. Place is a giant warehouse with tons of trampolines. Tons of activities to do including a giant foam pit, basketball, dodgeball.... we only signed up for the 30 min. session, and the kids were completely tuckered out by the end of it. The staff could be more friendly. Also, they do not accept the special jumping socks from other Sky Zone facilities, so get ready to be ripped off. read more

Good facility, pretty clean overall and definitely wonderful to bring kids to. The only thing I'd say is it isn't managed in the best way, it has a bunch of teens working who aren't too friendly and I personally don't know how safe I feel entrusting my kids safety to these people but I guess the key is explaining to your kids that it could be dangerous and they have to be careful. Just want to be clear that any stars I'm giving here is ONLY because my daughter and her friends love the trampolines. Its pretty expensive to have party here and you would think that they would be able to get the electronic invites correct but even the techie parents of my daughter's friends had difficulty knowing what to click to RSVP. When I call that even printing the invite doesn't print properly, they really don't understand. They asked Brandon the manager about what to do and that didn't get me anywhere. So I had to figure that out myself and sent emails directly to the parents. Also the time they put on the invite is half hour before the actual party but yet they ask that everyone come at least 20mins early so I had parents there 50 mins before the party starts. Depending on who you get to manage the dodgeball games, it may not be 'games' but just free for all to just throw balls at each other. And the attendant there didn't even get the balls out until at least 10mins after they'll just bouncing there. The kids wanted to play dodgeball! After the private use of the dodgeball, it's a free-for-all...I wished they told me we can go upstairs to watch the kids. I had one additional kid show up and instead of having the party attendants come to me to settle up for the extra person, they called me after I left to pay the difference. I paid over the phone because it's a hike for me to get there but they can't email or mail me the receipt. Hmm... they are more than capable of accepting payment over the phone. I'm sure they're going to say that it's not a big deal but I wish we got more for our money. Jess (the girl who called) tried asking Brandon the manager, but he says those aren't options. I also had emailed Brandon for my order for extra food and never heard back from him. I did speak to someone to finalize my count and made sure to mention the food order. Be aware, no one told me that I will be charged for the number I confirmed regardless if that number shows up or not. I've been wanting to go to a trampoline gym for quite some time, so I snatched up a Groupon for Sky Zone the second I ran into it. For $26, I got an hour of jump time for 2 people, which is pretty reasonable! Checking out their website and prices, I don't think I would've gone to Sky Zone unless I had the Groupon. I filled out the waiver online for me and my brother and we came on Wednesday for the 7:30 jump time. We did have to buy socks (mandatory for all, unless you've been here before and have the socks already). Buying a locker will also run you $2 bucks to store your stuff. I'd say there were maybe 15-20 other people there and there's a lot of different trampolines, so there was room for everyone. There's a main trampoline area at the back of the building, as well as foam pits, a basketball dunk area, and another trampoline area where you can play dodgeball. Employees are posted in all areas to make sure you're being safe, but they all look miserable and bark at you for forgetting a rule. Overall, I did have a lot of fun, but trampolines are exhausting unless you've got the energy of an 8-year-old. Facilities are clean and there are water fountains for you to rehydrate. It was a great experience that I'm glad I had, but I don't necessarily feel the urge to come back. read more

Went today for my little cousin's birthday. Brought my 4 year who loves Bounce in Valley Cottage. This place is almost as fun and a great way to burn some energy for kids. There are several dodgeball courts, a foam jump pit, basketball jump and a big jump area that I'm sure on busy days can be crazy. The thing I liked better about Bounce was that they have sections just for young ones and it included a bounce house. My son was disappointed that the foam pit didn't have a swing to swing into the pit but got over it and loved this part the best. As part of the party we had a 30 minute private bounce. It wasn't really explained well to the families and kids. 10 minutes into the private bounce the 2 assigned employees told the kids they could go to any of the other activities. They shouldn't have done that because the kids all ran to the other activities and when they came back to the first area, it was no longer ours to use. So that private bounce was wasted, a bit disappointing. I know many people complain about being forced to buy their socks, which if you keep you don't have to re-buy more than once for $2. However that was the best part for me! At other trampoline places my son has lost at least one sock each time in the foam pit. I was glad that this time he'd lose these $2 socks vs the more expensive Gymboree socks that match his clothes. Btw, free for each kid that's there for a party! Speaking of parties: Parties are Pricey, much more expensive then regular bounce house parties. $40 per bouncer if you do the hour private bounce. That's as expensive as a party at Great Wolf Lodge. I do have to say that the management organizing our party, Wendy, was fantastic. She couldn't have been more helpful to my cousin in running the event. After the hour of bouncing the team took us to a private party room and did a great job serving everyone, running the transitions from food to drinks to singing happy Birthday, to cutting and serving the cake. They we're great with making sure everyone got their personal items and even helped find a missing kid who if course was just in the restroom! Each kid left with a goody bag and a free future 1/2 bounce nice touch! Overall it was a fun time, however, I recommend it more for kids 6 and up! read more

A bit of sticker shock and "Grand Opening" let down, I believe this will be a "one and done" kind of place for people. There wasn't much hoopla, advertisement or incentive to go or find this new business in Allendale. It was a vague hinting on FB but I had to find them. In today's consumer market of tech advertising they fall short. I took 3 kids to go for the first day right at the start of business believing there would some kind of party and special "first day in business" events. Nothing.... I wanted to try it out and then book a party for my daughter and 15 of her friends...not happening. We arrived to a lot of staff, about 12 people and standing there, we asked where do we go and I get a hand point "over there to a kiosk" since we didn't print it out ahead of time. Well after spending a few minutes typing all that info we get up to the counter to pay and go in. I had a limited amount of time being a Saturday and kids soccer and such I asked for the 30 min jump session. It was my mistake that I thought the pricing was $10 for 30 min. It was $15 for 30 min plus I had to purchase socks for $2 for each kid plus tax it comes close to $20 per kid for 30 min to jump. In sticker shock I told the kids no and we left. They each had on fresh socks and it is mandatory to buy there 'hospital' like socks with grippy bottoms which will never be used again and likely lost before returning again. I informed them I really did not budget $60 for 30 min and left. I earn my money and to just kiss it goodbye like that, not happening. Thankfully I spoke to a friend afterwards about my experience and she told me they had a deal if you booked a party. What?? The staff said nothing that day when I asked about specials or any grand opening incentives. My tip for them: Need to read some books on marketing and selling if they are going to run a successful business because it was a good example of what not to do and overlooking the obvious such as generating positive buzz and getting a good word out there. Allendale is a small town and a loyal, close knit community. Possibly they are looking for people off the highway and not local repeat customers. read more

Went for a reserved karate party for a student who was moving out of state. I hated this place the minute I hit Commerce road and noticed the lack of parking. Hated it more when you walk into utter confusion with computers were you need to fill out a waiver. There is nothing clearly marked telling you what to do first. You miss your 1 hour jump slot waiting on line and seriously $25.00 for that hour plus the socks! All staff looks miserable and not one can give a clear direction nor really putting themselves out there. Overcrowded and had to wait for things to become available. Don't waste your time. read more

I scored the 4-person Groupon on this one so it came out to about $12 per person, and for that value for an hour, it's totally worth it! I was looking for an adult version of the Discovery Zones of my youth. This definitely came close! Who wouldn't want to tumble bounce off a trampoline into a pit of foam blocks? I remember wistfully gazing through the huge glass windows at Chelsea Piers wishing I could be in that wonderland. Trampoline basketball is a super fun experience, and I like how they tried to mix it up with other variants like volleyball and dodgeball. I would absolutely go back, and I hope they find ways to expand and add more activities! We must not have broken any rules because we didn't get barked at once; maybe just reminders not to have our phones on the trampolines but that was it. For the average person, an hour session is more than enough. You underestimate how much activity is involved and how much of a workout it is, and we were good and sweaty and exhausted by the time it was over. Two hours would definitely have been overkill. If I pay every time I bring my kids I'll pay $742.50 for me to sit & watch my kids. When I asked what parents are supposed to do i was told I could sit in the car. They are extremely understaffed and now if parents do not pay to watch their children we are supposed to leave them unattended in the facility? read more

After spending 30 min waiting in line to get the tickets and missing the next jump time, I was told that I needed waivers to buy the tickets and buying the tickets first and then signing waivers was not an options. Even reserving tickets was not an option. That whole exchange with the clerk caused me to miss another two jump times and turned a 30 min wait into two hours. I don't think this place has anything to offer that is worth a two hour wait. Not to mention the crowded conditions in the waiting area and lack of any entertainment to occupy the kids while they wait their turn. Took my 2 kids, a 10 year old boy and 6 year old girl, to Skyzone looking to for a fun time and to burn some pent up energy off. My kids loved it there. They have an area called a foam zone where you kids could dive, jump and flip into a sea of foam rectangles. An area designated for dodge ball which was refereed by an employee, which made me feel safe as my 6 year old was playing with kids a bit older. An area with basketball hoops so that your child could dunk on a hoop. They also had an area for just trampolines. The only reason I took away a star. was one of the staff members, a young woman, wasn't watching the lines or intervening when some obnoxious teenagers were cutting in line. She didnt seem to care when we said anything either which was annoying. It wasn't enough to deter me from taking my kids in the future but it was something that took away a bit from the experience. read more

My daughter likes this place. This review is based on their 'green' waiver requirement. You are told to fill out an online waver that grants them complete waver of liability and trail, indemnity, and agreement to arbitrate. Then, after filling out this 'green' waiver online, you are sent a link that suggests you print out the waiver and bring it with you. Six pages!!! How is that green?!?!?!? If you want the waiver online for workflow and record keeping purposes, be honest and say so rather than treating your customers like they are stupid before they even show up. Also, print one page. No one needs six printed pages of boiler plate legal mumbo jumbo that wouldn't hold up in court anyway. read more

Preteens and teens love this place for dodgeball. It used to be great for them. However lately dodgeball is always a problem. Either there is never a ref available for the game or even though they have enough trampolines for the various age groups they never open them. And therefore kids just end up walking around not doing anything. I think there is a huge group of kids that come here specifically for dodgeball and they should dedicate the staff and trampolines accordingly. Or just take dodgeball off as something that is offered at the Allendale sky zone. When this issue is addressed, management simply says that "dodgeball is not guaranteed." They should always advise this disclaimer as you are purchasing your time to play. They are very quick to take your money, but not as willing to accommodate. Brought my 12 year old grand son to play Dodgeball and paid for two hours. What a waste of money they have 2 unutilized courts siting empty without being used with referees to accommodate all the different age groups. They prefer to have the 4 age groups take turns fighting for time one one Dodgeball court. When you complain to management their only response is that no activity is guaranteed Meaning once you pay you are not guaranteed any type of actual playtime. Don't come here for Dodgeball. This place has turned into a money grab, they don't care about letting kids get their playtime in. It is a free for all out of control environment, the managers, staff and referees don't care. This place is awesome!!! My husband and I decided to take are children to Fly Zone since my daughter who is on the lower part of the spectrum loves to jump. At first we were a little nervous because this was are first time there, But the staff are super friendly and nice, they are also big on safety. This place is also very clean, and we were the last jump for the night 8-9, so you would think it would have been dirty, but it wasn't. It is a very clean. My husband and I were not going to be jumping just going to stand around are daughter so that she would not be able to escape us, ( As we all know most of our children who are Autstic love to run off. )The manger Chris gave my husband and I socks so that we would have grip under are feet for safety, not only did he do that for us, but he also accommodate are family to a separated section so that my daughter could be able to jump with her brothers with out getting hurt. I recommend this place to anybody with special need love ones in their family or friends. My daughter was so happy and free, she had a lot of fun. This doesn't happen all the time. Thank you Chris. I came here on a Sunday at 3pm to celebrate my sons 3rd birthday. The staff was rude and the whole concept of the place is not what I expected . One bouncer is allowed per trampoline, which is totally understandable. My three and four year old would fall onto each other's trampoline but go back to their own right away. The staff kept scolding my kids, not even giving them a chance to recover from their fall... I felt really frustrated with the staff, it seems they lack patience and understanding in dealing with young kids . There's a pit with foam blocks for kids to jump in.. However the wait was long and they kept rushing my kids out while they were trying to climb out . My kids weren't trying to play there, it just takes effort to get out. After the second time the girl told my son he had to hurry up and get out, I just wanted to leave. We're taking about toddlers, give them a break. This place is over priced for the treatment and lack of professionalism you get . While I understand that safety is a priority, there should be a little consideration for children with their parents, they needed to let me be a parent and supervise my child. I felt very uncomfortable. this place seems to be employed by a bunch of bratty teens . I drove close to an hour for this place , totally wasn't worth it . Go spend your money else where. read more

The problem with this place is that it is primarily ran by teenagers. I don't think the whole time I was there I saw an adult. Also, we had attended a birthday party and when we arrived to eat the food it was EXTREMELY COLD as if it's been sitting there. First their prices are outrageous ($25/hr) and not to mention you can't jump if you don't buy their socks.....so add another $3 (not badly priced). Took my two kids there yesterday. It was a holiday so it was jam packed, I had to wait 45 minutes to get in. I had a free 30 minute session for my son and it still cost me $37 FOR ONE HOUR! I was told when I called about my 3 year old that the age to jump was "if they can walk, they can jump" but wasn't told that theres nothing for a 3 year old to do there. Only jumping on the individual squares. So disappointed in this place and their price gouging. I wouldn't mind paying that much for a day of play but that was insane. Also the worst cup of coffee and two slurpees I ever purchased. Maybe they should consider different prices for under five or extending the price to include an hour. $10 for 30 minutes of jumping will not be in my budget when other places are less money. read more

By far the best trampoline park! We have been to many others (in NJ and CA) and none compare to SkyZone. The place is immaculate, the staff are helpful, safety is phenomenal and more importantly my kids are fully entertained (and exhausted/worn out) after spending their time bouncing on the trampolines. We have had 2 birthday parties at the other location in Pinebrook and they were a big hit. The staff really made sure my son & his friends enjoyed every minute of his birthday! I wish I had read these reviews before having my son's 7th birthday party here. I won't use them again. My biggest problems: * As part of the package, SkyZone sends out invitations for you electronically. I arranged to have mine sent a month in advance. Yet two days before the party, 11 of my 23 invited guests had not RSVPed! When I contacted the guests, who were friends of mine, they all said they hadn't received the invitation! Several were able to rearrange their schedules to come anyway, but the final party was still much smaller than I'd hoped for, and some of my son's best friends couldn't make it. When I told the manager, Brandon, about this problem, he seemed unsurprised, and offered nothing to compensate me. * Unlike every other party-hosting venue I've been to, the pizza-and-cake portion of the party was run by a single individual. This poor girl could not serve all of the kids and adults in a timely manner. Our reserved time in the room ran out before everyone had been served cake. I ended up helping her serve, but we still went over our allotted time in the room. (And she let me know she was giving me extra time as if she was doing me a favor.) When I questioned her, the girl claimed that the venue customarily lets a single individual manage an entire party, once she's "done a few parties." * I had to specifically ask to keep my leftover cake, and the girl seemed surprised that I wanted it. At other places, they pack the cake up for you and give it to you without you having to ask. After all, you've paid for it. * An employee did not appear with the party favors until several of my guests had already left. :-(( * No employee offered to help me get the gifts, the cake, and my two kids to the car. At other venues, employees often do this. * The final charge was more than I'd spend at comparable places, like Bounce U and Bounce Safari, and unlike employees at other venues, the cashier did not itemize my bill, even when I asked specifically. I'm still not sure what I ultimately paid for. I can see how this place would be fun to visit with your kids on an afternoon. But don't ever use this place for your child's birthday.
