First time going to a Sky zone for my daughter's birthday. Great experience. Staff was very friendly both on the phone and in person. There was a Groupon deal for discount tickets-very awesome. My daughter had a great time, she wants to go back. This place was by reservation only. It wasn't crowded and they staggered the times so there were people were leaving while others were coming. We saw them wiping down the equipment. The bathrooms were clean, plenty of seating and room to change your shoes and socks. This place was well lit and it was a solid trampoline park. I recommend this place for anyone that wants to have fun. Me and my cousins went to this place to play on the full court basketball rims they have here. It was very fun and the employee there was very nice. I'm not sure what his name is but he gets 5 stars from me and my cousins. She said that we all have only five minutes of play and if we did not like that then we should go home. This review is for a birthday party for a 4yo. I found very few helpful reviews for parties so thought I'd give my input. Sky zone did a great job with our party! We had it on a Sunday early evening in May. I was concerned that they would be too busy and big kids would be rolling over our smaller kids but luckily they had a toddler court open and that was perfect for the party. It wasn't just for us but there weren't many toddlers less than 4 there, so it worked out well for us. We had a party host that helped us out the whole party. You arrive 30 mins before jump time starts, checkin was easy (designated area for party checkin) if you have your guest go online and sign the waiver before hand. We got a rolling cart to put all of our party stuff on including kids shoes, jackets, gifts and decorations which is locked up until party room time. All of the 4yo and under LOVED sky zone. Can't say more for this as an amazing idea for a toddler birthday. The party room (launch pad room) was big enough for 16 toddlers and their parents, any more would be tight. One down side is that you have to order all the food from them so it can get pricey. The pizza is actually very good, I should have ordered some extra for parents. The wings were super tasty and worth the cost. The fruit tray was a rip off, wouldn't do that again. The veggie tray was better. You're able to bring in your own cake, we also brought cookies. We went on a Wednesday night during our thanksgiving break, however, we were told we couldn't jump for an hour and pay the hourly rate and had to pay $32 for 90 minutes because it was "glow night". This place is really fun, but you guys will need some pointers! First there's only 4 computers available for you to sign in and get a waiver, so if you want to jump for an hour then show up 30 mins in advance. There is a lot of trampoline parks available for dodgeball and only 1 zone for free - for - all jumping. There is 1 zone for rock climbing, 1 fall in pit, 3 basketball courts and there's 1 running wall. So it's kind of limited but it's definitely fun. Of course the place is crawling with kids as well but bring a friend and it'll be alright. read more

Frustrated at purchase by having to wait 30 minutes, getting to the counter, learning that we needed the waivers filled at the PCs in the back (or online) to then we be told that we had to get back in the line and wait again after we filled out the waivers. I'm only giving this 2 stars because my son loves it. But that love comes DESPITE several issues I have with the place. I had a Groupon for 1 hour/2 people. The girl at the counter was very nice and asked if I was going to jump or just supervise my 2 year old. I said that I'd just supervise. We went in and he started jumping. He asked me to join him, so I jumped a couple of bounces and you would have thought I was killing a puppy. A worker ran over and informed me that I couldn't jump unless I had an orange sticker. I went to the counter and told the girl who helped us originally that I wanted to jump. I filled out a waiver and got the orange tag. We went back and had a great time for about 40 minutes. Then when the supervisors switched, the young man came over and told me I couldn't jump. I asked why and he told me that it was the toddler area and parents aren't allowed to jump. I told him I had been jumping for 40 minutes with no issues. He shrugged and walked away. I adhered to the rule and stopped jumping. Mind you, it was empty in the area, so I'm not sure what the harm was. After reading the reviews, the issue of not allowing parents to jump with their kids seems to be a common one. Why on earth would this be a policy? Safety? I get that, but parents are probably the most careful group of people when it comes to taking care. My son would not jump today unless I was jumping with him. What am I supposed to do in the future? Have him cry and tell me to jump, and my response will be, "sorry, son...can't do it...the 16 year old told me so." I won't be coming back. With that being said...it's very clean and tidy. I just think the employees are so preoccupied with the rules that they forget about common sense and interpersonal skills. read more

If I could rate this less than one star, I would gladly do so. This experience was pitiful, to say the least. Initially, when my 4 year old nephew and my friends and I walked through the door, the workers behind front desk were socializing, while I was struggling to fill out the waiver. After the third attempt to grab someone's attention, I was finally able to receive help. Upon arriving at the front desk, Kelly, the cashier greeted us with "Did you guys all already fill out the waivers" we told her yes, and we proceeded with checking our waivers. I then asked her about pricing for a half hour and she told me it was ten dollars. since it was Tuesday we also had the offer to jump for an hour and eat a slice of pizza with pop for the same price, which she neglected to let me know about. Luckily, I called in and looked up prices ahead of time. When I asked her about the deal, she told me we would only get to a slice of pizza and an hour of jump time. When I asked her why we wouldn't be able to get the drink when it says it on the website she told me "I don't know why it says that, but you only get the pizza". Despite these red flags, I continued in my venture for "fun" and soon regretted it. Once I arrived at their café, I had to wait at their vacant counter until someone decided to help me out. I asked the young man if he could make fresh pizza because the pizza that was sitting on the pizza tier looked old. He told me that they ordered form a different pizza company, so they wouldn't be able to get more. Just out of curiosity I asked him how long ago the pizza arrived, and he told me that it came TWO HOURS AGO. Parents, PLEASE BEWARE. To put this into perspective, Pizza Hut, only allows their pizza to stay warm on a tier for 30 mins, and then are required to THROW IT AWAY. THIS IS DEFINITELY A HEALTH VIOLATION. And it doesn't stop here. My nephew was denied access to the dodgeball court although it was just my friends and I jumping there. I cannot begin to explain the disappointment on his face. not only was he not able to jump at dodgeball, the foam pit was unavailable to jump in, due to children staying in the pit and the staff not telling them to take turns. And if this wasn't enough, when I asked one of workers about the injuries at Sky Zone, she told me they have several, including broken bones. Yikes! At this point I was officially done with sky zone. We took my niece and nephew here on a Saturday and surprisingly it was not too crowded. My niece and nephew are 3 and 5 and extremely active (they like to crawl around and pretend they are different types of animals apparently, not the best situation at a trampoline place). The free jump area is a large section of trampolines lining the walls for different age groups. The only indicator as to what age is allowed in each area are colored squares (and let's be honest, kids do not give a darn for those colored squares, they need actual barriers). Sky Zone has a toddlers/age appropriate area which was nice for the kids, however there are no separations between the other age groups so naturally the younger kids try to explore the "big kid" area. This was a bit troublesome because the employees had to continue to chase kids back to their area (seemed stressful for everyone; employees, parents, sometimes even the kids haha). Parents/Guardians are also allowed between the trampolines but are only allowed to jump in four trampolines outlining the kids area. The idea is really nice, however out of all the toddlers I saw, close to ZERO wanted to stay on one trampoline and jump next to their parent. Once they moved to further trampolines, the parents are unable to jump with them but have to walk on the outer edges to guide their children (I was burned out from this). Overall, I would say this place is great for all ages if you have the patience and best for older children. Once your child is independent, the trampolines will be such a better experience because they will have the freedom to jump and understand the rules without being chase around by an employee. The idea of this place for toddlers is awesome, kudos for trying to encourage young ones to trampoline. Only suggestion or fallback is to completely separate the toddler/4-6 age group area from the rest. Finally, the employees were awesome. Even though they had to continually chase children and reprimand parents, they were very patient and kind. I am sure this was not how they wanted to spend their Saturday afternoon so I am appreciative of their jobs and presence. read more

Here's the run down if you've never been to a place like this (like me, this was my first time!) -Before you go, go online and sign their waiver. It will save you time, especially if your with impatient children (or adults for that matter!) If you don't, they have touch screens to the right on the wall when you walk in & you can sign for you and your children. It asks for a drivers license number as well. (If you don't have one you can skip over it) -Go there in sandals because they give you awesome orange socks & bring quarters if you have things you need to put in a locker. -They give you a run down of the rules and then you jump. I have to say their rules make sense but the little girl enforcing them was fairly rude about us falling. If you don't get up fast enough they will ask you to get up. If you bring a toddler and their toddler section is closed (like it was in my visit) they won't be lenient on your toddler even walking on the same square as you. Personally, I thought it was annoying to be told that I couldn't show my toddler (who has never been on a trampoline, how to jump/play on one safely. Of course I didn't listen because my child's safety is more important than their one square rule) Over all it was a great experience. One less than 5 stars because they had closed their toddler section without reason. It's a really independent play. You can't play games like popcorn, but it's great if your learning to flip or just want to bounce! Highly recommend a sweat rag too! read more

I arrived at Sky Zone in Elmhurst, IL tonight at around 8:30 pm. By the time I filled out the waivers I did not pay at the counter until around 8:40 pm. At that time I paid for my two kids & went back to my car after, because I had my other kid that was sleeping in the car at the time with his father. A short while after exactly 25 minutes after paying for my two kids, my other child woke up & I went inside with his father & we paid for him as well. Me & my husband ended up staying in there with our children. One of our kids was by himself at the basketball court trampoline, waiting in line with others to play. We made our way over there & waited for his turn on the court which he did eventually play with others. After his turn on the court we asked him if he was going to get in line again & he said yes. Me & my husband then told him we were going to go & check on his brothers. Me & my husband proceeded to the other side of the area where my other two kids were at. We were there for a short while before my other oldest child asked if he can go with the child that was currently at the basketball area. We told him he can go while we watched our youngest child in the pit area. After about 15 - 20 minutes we made our way with our youngest child by our other two children. Me & my husband decided to wait for our two oldest kids to play next in the basketball area, since they been waiting for a while & were next in line. While we were hovering around waiting for them to be next, the girl that was in charge of the line called the current game off, & everyone walked off the court. After the six kids that were currently playing walked off the court it was for the next six kids to play next. The first 3 kids in line were 3 young black kids, which two of them were mine & the other 3 kids were older white kids that had to play against them. Now as the next six kids entering the court, I hear one of the older white kids say, "Well this is not a fair match up!", So the older 3 white kids called another 3 group of older white kids that were after them onto the court. The girl that was in charge of the line, told the first 3 black kids that were first in line to get off the court & to let the other 3 older white kids play against the other 3 white kids that were originally suppose to play. She also told the kids that, that was also the last game for the night. So after my kids were sitting there ready to play next, not only did they get passed up in line & get asked to sit back down, were told that that was the last game for the night. That is when outrage was experienced from me & my husband, When confronted about the situation the worker(s) immediately called security. NOBODY HAS AN ANSWER TO WHY MY KIDS WERE NEXT IN LINE & TOLD TO GO BACK IN LINE & AFTERWARDS THAT WAS THE FINAL GAME FOR THE NIGHT!! I asked for a refund for my three kids & the lady went to give me my refund. When she passed me my receipt it had a total of $86 dollars on there & she gave me $76 with no explanation back to me. When I received the receipt with the money it was not $86 but $76. I gave the lady back the money with the receipt & told her she did not know how to do math. The receipt said $86 & your giving me $76. She then told me that she only refunded me $76 because she still charging me for socks! I told her "Socks that my kids weren't even able to play in because you didn't give them the opportunity!?!?"I then told my kids to take their socks off and give it back to them since they couldn't even use them to play what they went to go do. After she took the money back after i told her she did not know how to count because that was not the amount on the receipt, she & the other staff kept telling her not to give me anything. I heard her ask the other staff around if she should give me my full refund & they told her no! The manager Michael said I was not getting a refund because of how I was acting!! The audacity of this man to say such a thing after my kids had to experience such a racist experience. I try to teach my kids how to treat others equally & you guys just let your staff over rule these kids by allowing their friends or people they feel have the authority over other individuals because they feel entitled. I would like my full refund for this horrible, horrific & traumatizing experience. I would hate to take further legal action against your company, but you should not allow people to treat others no matter whether their kids or not to be treated they were treated today. When police called they asked your staff if they would refund us & they said no take it up with corporate. read more

We wanted to bounce as a family -2 parents, 3 kids under 12. However, parents and anybody over 16 are not allowed to bounce with their children under 16. We were told that the possibility that we will hurt our kids is too high. I want my kids to be safe but couldn't you implement some family bounce hours so parents can be active WITH their kids? super fun to come here with friends and relive days of your youth! this place makes me realize just how inflexible we are now as adults, and how long it's been since the days when we were agile and energetic kids. beware if you come on a weekend, this place is absolutely crawling with kids. so be on the lookout for little ones running around or crossing your path, because they don't really follow the rules (or are too young to understand / care). there's plenty of things to choose from: shooting hoops, foam pit, dodgeball, volleyball - all with trampolines involved. and then just one giant room with a bunch of different sized trampoline spaces and walls to bounce off of. can't wait for the rock climbing wall to open - will be interesting to see how they wrap that space into the whole trampoline concept. minus one star because the staff here aren't really paying attention to kids and their safety. there's a bunch of rules written on the wall, but at the end of the day, most of it isn't actively enforced. read more

I was also very impressed with our party server, Phil. He was awesome! Love bringing the kids and grand kid here. Have had several bday parties here even though they seem to not be able to get the pricing right. Now today, a Sunday, the pace is busy. Not a lot of people checking in but have all the front registers maned. However at the Sky Cafe one person working and one person helping. Wouldn't it be nice to have both registers open and the line to keep moving? Currently three people and what looks like a shift supervisor or manager are just standing in front chatting while there are 9 people in lone for snacks.... it's been nine deep in the same position for five minutes. When Sky Zone first opened I really wanted to have my daughters birthday party there, unfortunately they didn't open in time. Since then I went there recently for a kids party. I have to say that I am glad i didn't spend the money to have her party at Sky Zone. This place is very clean, updated and nice. But I had a much better time at other Trampoline places. The party consisted of the kids having to waiting in lines and turns to jump. They had so many trampoline open yet the attendents made them wait until one color blocked jump and then another one. It was just honestly the oddest set up. The basket ball part of it was the same thing kids had to wait until the ball was done being used even though they had like four balls to use. Meanwhile this party is on a timer and they are just waiting around. If you ask me its a waste and if i was the host to this party i would have been livid. Now to the party room, it was super small and it was cold. The only thing I enjoyed was the Ice Cream cake. Which is why you have to sign a waiver soon as you walk in the door. They have three sections that are not allowed to be useless they are private parties which is kind of silly... they should use them all when party's are not booked. This place is awful! We just had my daughter's birthday party here. I have never been to a more unorganized place! The staff knows nothing and is completely unhelpful. There was no one available to check us in so I had 20 kids and their parents milling around for 20 min while I tried to figure out what to do. Nobody could tell me where my party room was. When it was time to go to the party room, they called us up and then said there were still people in our room so we had to wait 10 more minutes. They didn't set up tables as I wanted, my two "helpers" kept disappearing so my husband and I moved tables and chairs ourselves, served the pizza ourselves, and set up without any help. They also never brought up my decorations, they popped some of our balloons and left the rest tangled with hangers on the cart. During the cake time, they turned out the lights, but after my daughter blew out the candles, my "helpers" had disappeared so we sat in darkness until someone could find the light switch to get lights back on. All I could say was "Come on!" This was the most awful experience I have had planning a party. Although they discounted the party, I will never have the chance to celebrate my first born's 10th B-day again. read more

I was so excited about having my daughter's birthday party here. Booking over the phone, was very organized. But a little misleading. We arrived 30 minutes prior to party, as they asked, to sign in. Kids were brought over to jump area n told to enjoy. Seems great, well there were WAY to many people. Needed to wait in every jump location. Shouldn't there be a limit? It's 1 hour, not 2 so it's limited, and kids don't want to wait around. After waiting 15 minutes to play volleyball, they finally get in, 2 minutes into game, a Sky Zone employee walks out to jump area and yells 'everyone out'!!! What, wh!?! I go up to him, at wich he yells again, literally in my face. I ask why, they say, birthday party. Oh, we have a birthday party too. We'll they paid EXTRA. Couldn't the kids at least finish up the game, nope! I went to find our party helper Luis, super sweet boy, who could teach the so called manager Giovanni a thing or 2 about customer service. As I'm trying to talk to Luis, someone walks up n is now eavesdropping. I ask, would you like to be a part of this conversatio? He says 'ya, ya I would'. Super professional No, hi mam, I'm the manager how can I help. I tell him what happened, and he says 'It's POLICY to clear out area 15 minutes prior. They had 20 kids' I ask, why wasn't I given the option of Booking a private area, I had a 15 kids? He goes back, 'it's POLICY to clear people out, they were doing their job' Hello, can u answer my question? Why wasn't I given that option? It's also POLICY that I was to have party room 15 minutes prior so I could set up tablecloths and my own party plates. But that didn't happen. The kids waited to jump half of the party. Awful. I was yelled at multiple time by teenagers with rude attitudes. Also they don't let you know until after you've paid that you can't jump with or even near your child. Of course I then asked for a refund, because why would I as an adult want to jump alone? And it took much too long for them to figure out how to get my money back to me, when they didn't it wasn't even for the right amount!! Generally a poor set up, and even with a parent pass you can't only walk on the pads, and observe the other activities like dodgeball from a FAR. Went to Toddler time for the first and probably last time this morning. I got there early around 945 because I wasn't sure if it would be crowded. I waited in line and then was told I needed to go to the computer to sign a waiver. Okay cool that's fine....except all 4 computers didnt work. I went back up to the desk and stood there for a few minutes in between being ignored by the one employee when I said the computers weren't working. Finally someone came over. They apparently had their servers worked on last night and no one bothered to check the connection before opening the place this morning. No back up system he says, everything's on the computers. No paper forms either. So now there are a few more parents all equally annoyed because we're just standing around waiting for the computers. Fast forward....after waiting for 15-20 minutes...one of the employees came up to me with a tablet. I was in there waiting for over 30 minutes....at no point did anyone say we could just do it on our phones. Then we go to pay and there are 2 registers open. One kid keeps pushing people to the other line (theyre both long at this point) because he says " maybe that register will work better"...what? So now you cant ring people up...great. Finally get up there....I will give the one guy props because nothing was working so he let us in for free. It was very generous but this place is not worth the headache. No one seems to know what's going on. So they seemed to have redeemed themselves with the free entry for the inconvenience...HOWEVER...I took my son to the women's bathroom (by myself and he's a little guy). There's a Cintas guy cleaning the woman's bathroom. When I walked in there was an older woman who was clearly annoyed that he was in there at the same time as her. Totally inappropriate. Either close the bathroom or leave when a woman comes in. I was totally creeped out. There are young kids who go here and you have a guy cleaning the woman's bathroom who doesn't leave when a woman enters?! That's crazy. My son had fun...that's the most important part. But I highly doubt we'll ever go back to this location or any Skyzone for that matter. read more

I don't understand the reasoning behind the below average ratings for this place. I purchased a groupon for 4 people for 1 hour ONLY spending $36!!! I went with my girlfriend and friends. We had a BLAST! The best part was when the dodgeball attendant joined our game to make it even! That's superb customer service. I will be definitely coming back tomorrow as I purchased another groupon for my family! read more
