We had my son's 6th birthday party at Skyzone and it was perfect from beginning to end! Jalyn was our party hostess! She was absolutely amazing! We had about 20 kids and she handled them with such care and grace. She was extremely friendly, helpful, always checking on us, and just did an excellent job. The pizza was so good! Sky Zone is a great place to bring your kid when they need to burn off some energy. The space is huge, so even when the place is crowded, it doesn't feel like it is, because there are enough areas for the kids to spread out in. They have monitors who keep an eye on the kids andwho do an admirable job of keeping the very tiny kids away from the bigger kids. My one gripe is the dodgeball trampolines. The day I was there, the person monitoring that area was oblivious to the fact that there were high school kids who wanted to pummel their friends with the ball while playing with 7 & 8 year olds could barely throw the ball across the line. I get it. It's dodgeball...the most unfriendly game in the universe, which we all survived playing in grade school. However, it truly was a bit like Lord of the Flies on the court. I wish the monitor had separated the kids and made them play with kids closer in age. When my 7 year old got reamed in the head by the ball, I had it and pulled him off the trampoline. read more

Here Five Minutes and Already Regret It. So my son and a friend wanted to come to Sky Zone. That's cool because we've had good times here before. But this will be our last visit. First, the cashier added two t-shirts to the bill without asking; only $10 but still .... Next, we bought an hour, and the kids started to play at 7:54 ... a worker told them to go sit down and wait until 8 pm.. Its not crowded and seems very petty. Finally, the place is filthy and workers are going right past me and either over or through spilled drinks or trash. This place sucks and I advise against visiting. read more

This place was pretty fun, and reasonably priced. Very safe, as well--the supervisors watch people very attentively. Apparently they don't give discounts for children, which is pissing some yelpers off...But honestly, you can enjoy this park whether you're 3 or 33..or anything in between. There are no height restrictions for any part of the park, and the price of $14 includes all the "equipment" and "training" you'll need. It makes perfectly logical sense to me that they wouldn't offer a discount for children or toddlers--there isn't any aspect of the gym that's diminished by being a kid. There were a bunch of people running around coughing, and it made me really uncomfortable. We are here for the Sky Mania and it's pretty nice. The kids have free reign of the place and the wifi signal is strong. The time is from 9-11 and everyone is having a great time. The kids got free jump socks, 2 slices of pizza and 2 hours of jumping for $20. Currently the dodgeball is the game of choice but there's free jumping and basketball too. There are comfy sofas and bleachers for those parents who want to hang around and wait. The music is a little crazy but not obnoxiously loud. I've been generally happy but was disappointed today. We've gone for toddler time a few times (my 4 year old and 1.5 year old love to jump!). It's the only hour during the day that is supposed to be for kids 5 and under. Today there were two young teen girls jumping at toddler time, doing flips/handsprings/gymnastics. My 1.5 year old almost went through their paths a few times! The whole point of me bringing them for toddler time is to not have to worry about run-ins with big kids. Came here on a Saturday night with nephew whose a teenager and it was glow night. This place is full of kids ranging from all ages. Lots of trampoline contraptions with basketball hoops and all. They had a dj here as well. Not sure if she is here all the time but she was really good and played good music. They have a couple different lounging options for you while you wait. They also have a small arcade and a snack bar that's not too bad in price. Place is clean and doesn't smell like feet.. lol. I say that because you have to take your shoes off to jump. Tonight it's open til 12pm. They have a chesterfield police in here I'm assuming just because which is Good because you never know. But there wasn't any problems while I was here. I will definitely bring him and other kids back here. They also have a nice flat screen tv in the main lounge for people to watch. Nice place to have a kids party too. On 2/19, I made reservations online for 4 at 2:30 PM. I had each parent complete the waiver form and proceeded to the park. When I arrived, the line was very long and they shortly announced no availability as they were at capacity until 4:15. After moving to the front and asking about my prepaid tickets, I was told it was fine, my kids could jump. No one could find the waiver forms even though I had copies with waiver numbers. I had to do it all over again on my phone, twice! The computer couldn't find the first redo. After much a do, they finally worked and my kids were given stickers at 2:56 for 2:30 pm. I asked about the time since we paid for an hour and I was told by the manager (wearing sweatpants shorts and a flannel shirt and not even sure he was really the manager) that the best he could do was move it to 2:45 pm -- which he did not. My kids got less than 1/2 hour by the time they put on their socks and went to jump. Serves no purpose to do advance purchase if you're not going to honor it. We did not receive the time or close to it for what we paid. Ridiculous. Need a dedicated line for prepaid. read more

Trip to Sky Zone ended with my little 8yr old cousin saying, "Today was the best day of my life!" ..... Ayyyeeee, goal achieved! The occasion was a reward for my little cousin who had an outstanding year academically (earning straight A's & scholarship to a private academy). I wanted to do an activity that would be fun & exciting, reasonably inexpensive, and we could spend least an hour doing. Jumping was my first thought. Figured, I had a blast at the other trampoline park in the greater Richmond area when I went about a year ago with friends. Between then & now I learned about Sky Zone. I chose them for 4 reasons.. -Since my first experience I've been wanting to go jumping again -I love to try new places -'Sky Socks' w/purchase of admission here -They offered a Groupon deal! The deal gave you 60mins of jump time for 2people for $20. That saved $10! This deal was extremely clutch, allowing for me to include more people in our outing. My older sister, my 10yr old cousin & his 8yr old sister, and I all used the Groupon for entry. My GF even came, her hour only being $15! Our party arrived about 5:45pm on a Sunday evening, they weren't very packed but had a decent crowd. We were greeted by friendly staff who quickly pulled up our pre-completed waiver forms, confirmed our Groupon, handed us our Jump Sticker & Socks and had us on our ways in about 5-10mins of entering the door. The park is fairly large & features multiple courts for basic jumping, one for dodgeball, a foam pit, & a Slam Dunk Court. My cousin's favorite! We participated in all of the activities except dodgeball.. We were having too much fun on the other courts! Each court had staff attendees to oversee everyone's jumping. I want to highlight the staff member working the foam pit. She was very helpful, jumping in to save my cousins multiple times from the clutches of the foam when we were out of position to get to them. Maneuvering in that foam is a full body workout! Storage of your belongings boils down to lockers that cost $.25 for a small one & $.50 for a large one. We ended up renting a large locker, but paying about $1.50.. Each time you want to access your stuff you'll have to pay the rental fee if you want to re-lock your belongings. Overall we had a great time & definitely will be returning soon! If you're looking for something fun to do in RVA or a great place to take kids, I would strongly recommend Sky Zone! read more

The boys liked it. I hung out with my two nephews, ages 7 and 9, and took them here. They love this place. You sign up for 1/2 hour, 1 hour, etc, and they give each kid a name tag with their alloted times on it, as well as some hospital socks. You know those socks - the kind with the tacky soles on them? That's what you wear here. Anyhow, they loved it here - there are four sections; 1 Area is a bunch of trampolines which are connected together. Only one kid per trampoline, etc. There are trampolines along the wall diagonally. Another section has 3 basketball hoops of various heights. Each hoop has a long trampoline before it. They like trying to dunk, etc. There's a foam block pit that has a similar setup - long trampolines before it. They have young kids working here who keep the kids in line, make them take turns in the pit or hoops. There is also a dodge-ball arena which they did not want to use - for bigger kids I think. This the BEST experience I have ever had. We were told by an employee that I was allowed to bring my young boys into sky zone from 10pm-12am for free jump... Well that wasn't correct. It was actually for 16+ teens. Well the manager was amazing!! He created a solo jumping space for my 3 boys and gave us free passes for the misunderstanding. The customer service was absolutely exceptional. I am very impressed with my experience here. The staff, the management, and even the teens jumping were so nice and helpful. Wow. I have been a customer since opening and I will now go *ANYWHERE* but Skyzone. Skyzone has had toddler time on Tuesday from 3-4. Conveniently this week (which is Chesterfield County's spring break) I find they are not providing this discount. So instead of $6, they wanted to charge full price of $14. Well I didin't get the memo even though they have my email address. Management was inflexible and wouldn't provide the discount, so I left with daughter in tow. Its certainly their prerogative to do so just as it is mine not to continue to do business with them, but thats not very intelligent or good customer service. Skyzone just lost my business permanently zero times $6 or $14 is still $0 anyway you look at it. Some things aside from this experience I don't like about this Skyzone: 1) Woefully inadequate rest areas. Plan on sitting on uncomfortable bleachers rather than getting table and chair even if they are not that busy. I think they perhaps at best 5-6 tables and 3 love seats. 2) When it gets busy there is really not a lot of space to jump whereas Jumpology appears to have a much larger layout 3) They have computers yet they obviously don't have a database. I have to retype my information every time I check in. Hello 21st century is calling, how about keeping a customer database and assigning a unique number so I have a faster check in. Personally, I perfer Jumpology although Skyzone is closer to me. read more

I love this place!!! So much fun to be had and all of the employees were very outgoing. Loved seeing management walking around to ensure everyone was "flying" safe and having a blast!!! Can't wait to go again. At first I wasn't sure of all the rules but after seeing how some people want to "play" on trampolines I completely understand all the rules in place. We love Sky Zone! Have been many times with my kids and they are always begging to go back! I know why they love it....it's fun and they have a blast every single time! As a parent, I love it because it's clean, it's safe, it's organized, the employees are well trained and super nice, it's great exercise, and I am happy to relax in the bright and open area while the kids safely jump! Having been before, it's nice that our waiver is on file and the kids can get straight to jumping. But if you have not been, navigating the waiver and getting socks/instructions, is super easy and organized! Did I mention how clean this place is? And again, the employees are very helpful and fun! They interact with the kids, run the dodgeball games and basketball hoops, and keep everyone safe! We've been to several birthday parties there, but we just hosted our own there for the first time and it was amazing! Easiest and most fun party we've ever had for our boys! From start to finish, they took care of everything! It could not have been more organized if I had done it myself! And the girls who were taking care of us were outstanding! So friendly and helpful! Took my son and 8 of his friends there on a Saturday and these kids had the time of their life. The staff is friendly and accommodating and there are people monitoring the courts everywhere, directing the kids how to jump in the safest possible manner. We just had our son's 7th birthday party at Skyzone. It was amazing! Everyone had a blast and were very tired by the end. They tell you to arrive 30 minutes early for the party. This leaves plenty of time to get guests checked in, waivers signed, socks on and rules given. The kids were fine for about 20 minutes and then got bored. They do have some video games to play for the wait but not everyone had quarters. Once rules are given they get to jump for an hour before heading to the party room for pizza (you order from them), drinks (included) and cake (bring your own). This was an fine but they have a tv in the room and all the kids wanted to watch it but were told nothing was in it. It would have been nice to have something on. You get a party host(ess). Ours was Maya and she was FABULOUS!!! She really seemed to connect with the kids and made sure we were taken care of. 2 of our guests did get minor injuries and the staff was very attentive and caring. My biggest complaint was that for the package we bought it included 10 jumpers. That was the only one available for the day we needed. Any guest over the 10 count was $15. This is the normal price to jump for an hour so I think they could give a few dollars off for a party. That being said, I knew that ahead of time so can't complain too much about that. The restrooms were dirty too but they were busy with lots of kids so I guess that would be normal. Snack bar is reasonably priced too. Nachos and dippin dots were yummy. Overall, we will go back and even have another party here. My son loved it. read more

Had my daughters birthday party here. Bad idea!!!! We wasted over $300 dollars for the package. Host wasn't any help, they messed up my daughter's cake, didn't play the slide show, didn't even provide all the drinks that I paid for with my package. I brought my two boys to Sky Zone a couple weeks ago to jump on a Saturday afternoon and though they liked sky zone it was very small considering how many kids and parents and parties were there. I also over heard a girl whose name tag said Jordan who as I could gather was wearing a manager shirt(it was nicer than the regular staff) talking badly about other staff members to another coworker. Calling them idiots, annoying and laughing right in the open. It was very unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. The bathrooms also were extremely dirty and I had to left my boys come in the woman's room because they said there was pee on the walls in their bathroom. I've visited another sky zone down in va beach and it was much more professional and clean and larger. I don't think I want to come back after hearing that manager talk like that and seeing that the staff clearly couldn't handle how many people were at sky zone on a Saturday and couldn't stay clean. If you have special needs children the only night you should go is during special needs night. I took my son there for his birthday early during the day (a weekday) so it was NOT busy at all so he could have fun for a few hours. He is 6, autistic, and has some developmental delays. I was told I was not able to be anywhere near him on the jumping courts and while they did allow some "exceptions" in the toddler area (which was completely empty at the time) he was above the age to go in that area. I was told by the front desk that I was allowed to turn in my paid pass for a parent no jump pass and stand near him on the mats. The second my foot left the mat I was reminded to get back on the mat!! Well my birthday boy did not understand this it took a while to get him to jump without me holding his hands but when he eventually did he got tired easily and would need to sit for a few seconds in between only to be harassed by the worker for sitting. Keep in mind it was NOT busy! There were plenty of available trampolines for others! After being nice about the situation I felt like we were being targeted for no reason and had to speak up. My 6 year old was not hurting anyone by taking breaks in between his jumps that he needed. The fact that he is unable to keep up with his peers, we are well aware... but thank you skyzone for reminding us MULTIPLE times. My son left upset as did I. So while they appear to be special needs friendly one day a month is NOT enough! You should accommodate special needs everyday. In fact I was told by the front desk that the one day a month Sensory friendly night would be a better night for them to come... Really??? Is there a special hour depending on what race we are also! We had constant contact with SZ and the day of they decided not to show up. We all had to drive about 40 minutes for nothing. We waited around for 30 minutes thinking they may be running late, however no one ever showed up. I don't know what kind of "manager" runs a place like that where you can not get ahold of anyone to see what is going on when they miss the appointment time? They defiantly should have another number in case of something like this happens to another large group. The worst part was not that they never showed up. We were doing something special for veterans day with our group (all active duty military) and then to top that off having to get up at 4am to get ready in order to get there on time, then we did not even get back home till around 0715 for nothing but a waist of time and gas.
