I stopped here on a Friday afternoon on a roadtrip. While the service was friendly and quick, there wasn't anything that would draw me back again. My beer (a draft budlight) was flat and just not worth the price. The Mac salad was fine, but nothing special. We had stopped here because the online menu offered a vegetarian burger, but I was told that menu is out of date. Again, nothing overtly bad here, just nothing I'd go out of my way for. read more

I will say the food was pretty good. They did have a lot of options, considering it is a bar mostly. Looks like from what I could see.They have specials certain days of the week. I will say the service wasn't great. The lady that I had. She wasn't very attentive to any of the guest.She kinda seemed like she didn't want to be bothered. Just kinda like a stanky attitude with my two guy friends and then most of the time it took long to get what we needed because no one was paying attention; checking in. I will say that the seats outside are dirty. Tables didn't seem to be wiped down very well. The drinking prices are decent. I could honestly save myself the trouble and go somewhere else. To me, customer service is really important and that's something that I feel like the staff here lacked. read more

SkyBox in Murrieta is easily one of my new favorite spots to relax and grab a great meal. The vibe is clean, comfortable, and welcoming -- perfect whether you're catching a game, meeting friends, or just unwinding after a long day. Skybox is the place to be. Des is the best bartender in the area! Des will keep the drinks flowing and never miss a beat when you need a refill! The bartenders are all amazing, the drinks are perfect, the beer is cold and the food is definitely not bar food! Melissa keeps her touch of live and makes it feel right at home when it is delivered to you. There isn't a dish on the menu that I haven't enjoyed. It is cooked to order and is always so tasty. When I tell you sky box is the place to be I mean it. I been going to my local bar for years now. The drinks and food is also on point. My favorites are chicken Caesar salad, calamari, Bloody Mary with Tito's, and for beer Mango Hef When I have family visiting I always take them there to have drinks and food, and they always have a good time. Customer service from the bartenders is always pleasant. I know the owner Don and he always try's to have different special to get people in, but in my opinion the marketing could pose to be better. Maybe incorporate more happy hour options So as long as I'm living in the area I will continue and recommend everyone check skybox out. I've been living in the area for over 20yrs now and have been to the Skybox off and on since. My first experience way back in the day was that it was a nice local tavern for drinks and dinner. Like I said been there off and on and then about 3 yrs ago my son stopped and picked up some hot wings to go. When he open them up you could smell that the chicken was already bad. You could smell how rancid they were even after being cooked. Haven't gone back since until today. I read the reviews and how good they were so I'm figuring new management. I figured I'd give it another try. I ordered the fish and chips to go. When I got home I opened the box and it had 3 pieces of fish that were just a little bit bigger than egg rolls. The fish ( I'm hoping it was fish) was a bit to mushy for me. Never had mushy fish and chips. Then the fish fell out of the batter, never had that either. I didn't have any drinks so can't comment on that. I will be driving a bit farther next time I'm in the mood for fish and chips. read more

Great for lunch and happy hour. Better food than you'd expect from a "dive bar". Really is a restaurant with a bar despite the the more bar like atmosphere. Varied and solid menu. Tri-tip Dip and Po'boy are really good. Tater tots are exceptional. Rotating taps on beers. Full bar. Service is a highlight. We recently discovered this place and so happy we did! We celebrated my birthday and Don the owner could not have provided a better experience! We were there for their taco Tuesday just to check it out and the food and service were great! We loved how warm and inviting the staff and the owner is. We felt like we had been regulars for years. Food and staff is always great this visit... except for who we believe is the GM or owner who is the least professional person at this establishment. He was being very rude to the staff in the back and it honestly came off racist because he changed his demeanor completely with the caucasian staff. Especially with everything going on during these times... I felt I needed to say something but my husband said to stay out of it. He was very rude to us as well did not greet us but he greeted every other customer. He saw us standing there for a minute didnt even acknowledged us. He later was having a conversation with a customer and was very unprofessional speaking badly about another person. He was cursing and sounded drunk. We overheard the customer calling him Don or Dom. ....Needless to say that I will not be returning to this place read more

I'm not normally inclined to write reviews, unless some place makes a severe impression, good or bad. Normally I enjoy this place, but I went to get food and a drink there the other day and was essentially ignored for half an hour before I gave up and left after I saw somebody else leave in frustration as well. It's not like other people weren't getting served either. Again, I enjoy this place, the food, the vibe, but this time was awful, especially with how hungry I was. Hopefully I can go back and have a good experience next time, so I can write this place a review that reflects how they operate normally. read more

I like to support small businesses, and if you are down to earth this is your spot!! the food is great, specially the tri-tip the sweet beans were delicious too! The vibe is good here it's my 4th time here. The girls here give You good vibes, came On a Wednesday they have a very talented musician He made me laugh and smile.. I've been here a couple of times but the first time I heard of it I thought it was going to be a nice chill somewhat upscale lounge. Well it's not but that's ok but what it's just a local hangout bar that has karaoke. I saw a sign as you walk in that says no colors and no cuts. My homegirl asked me what that sign means and I told her I think motorcycle clubs/gangs may come here. Once I came during lunch and it wasn't busy and everything was cool including the food and my beer. Then I came on a karaoke night and the place was jammed packed there were even two very young kids singing. I'm not a parent but I wouldn't have my kids in a bar so anyway. My homegirl and I ordered some food and drinks. My food was good and my homegirl said hers was also good. After we ate we left and went to The Donut Bar before they closed at 10pm. Then we went back to The Skybox and before we could even walk in good enough a fight broke out!!! I was thinking I didn't have to pay to see a fight like everyone else on fight night. Anyway it was unfortunate that happened but the Murrieta Police never showed up. So I most likely will not be coming back. read more

I ordered the steak and vegetables and it comes with soup or salad and I had the garden salad. The salad was awesome, everything was super fresh and the ranch is so delicious. Probably made in-house it had such great fresh flavor. The steak. I'm not quite sure what to say. It came out in like a plate with a lip and when I moved the steak and took a bite, I realized everything was swimming on the plate. I did mention to our waitress who was very kind and accommodating and offered some solutions but at that point I just lost my taste for it. Her service was perfect. She checked with the chef who said it's cooked with au jus and that's what's on the plate. It seemed excessive and should be mentioned on the menu. The place is nice inside, lots of tables or you can sit at the bar. All kinds of sports playing on the tvs and nice music. It's got a good vibe. Maybe just don't order the steak.

You can tell the staff actually enjoys what they do, and it makes the whole experience way better. We came for a couple drinks and ended up staying way longer because the vibe was so good. If you stop by, ask for Drew. Dude made the pre-game before the wedding im going to, amazing.

I remember an episode of the LATRYGUY also going to this destination, and even he vouched for this nonsense. Can't trust that fool either. The mac and cheese was some weird variation. The baked beans didn't really taste like baked beans. The meat was overly peppered. They for odd reasons, don't serve potato salad. Change that mac and cheese. Change your seasoning, or at least try. Include Potato Salad. And maybe your business will survive whatever it is going through. Sorry but facts.
