Came here last month. A friend and I stopped in about 5pm on a Sunday to enjoy the complimentary glass of champagne for Delano guests and then we came back after 10pm to see the night view of the Strip. It wasn't too busy either time so we got to enjoy wandering around looking at the views. I ordered a Blank Space cocktail that was light and refreshing. It was perfect since we were sitting by the open door to the balcony, enjoying the breeze. Wonderful views of the Strip and you must find the bathroom stall with floor to ceiling windows looking out over Mandalay Beach. Truly a unique experience, hahaha. I would definitely recommend coming to Skyfall Lounge! read more

Not gonna lie. This place is average and subpar at best. Checked in with friends today and got a table. 350 dollar table. Service is terrible, they're not attentive to the people who are actually spending money, It basically feels like we should be standing at the bar instead of the table because I'm sure we would get our drinks faster than this. Stopped by for the complimentary glass of champagne for Delano hotel guests, and enjoyed the great view of the Vegas strip from a peaceful and quiet setting. Typical pricing for cocktails and small plates, friendly staff, and again... the view cannot be beat! Classy, relaxed location with a great vibe, especially compared to the craziness of the rest of the Vegas strip. A one of a kind view on the top floor of the Delano hotel... perfect to enjoy a romantic setting with someone special or lounge with close friends. The Sunset Hour is offered daily from 5 - 7 and probably a good time to come by if it's your first encounter... drinks are a tad pricier on the regular cocktail list. We sampled some of the food off of their menu which all tasted great but came in smaller portions. None-the-less, you won't be disappointed if you set out here for the setting... it really is breathtaking at night. I want to Love this place I'd give it 5 stars if the service was good. They have a great selection of wine and champagne , I'd give it 4 stars, but they don't know how to serve it. We ordered champagne and it took 15 minutes to get the bottle and they never put the bottle on ice. If I could rate the service it would be 2 stars. The views are outstanding five stars. Spectacular view of Las Vegas, but that's quite literally the highlight of this venue. The cocktails were disappointing; as a mixologist myself, I was intrigued by the description and curious to try a few, but after two mediocre-at-best drinks, I accepted defeat and settled for water instead of the overpriced wine list. The charcuterie plate was tasty, although it lacked severely in variety ($22 for two types of cured meat, and three cheeses - at least the prosciutto was enjoyable.) While our waitress was quite friendly, the wait increased exponentially throughout our two hour experience. From the time I asked for the check until it arrive was nearly fifteen minutes, and it was another fifteen before it arrived. 45 minutes from requesting the check until we were paid is absolutely ridiculous. read more

Personally, I love the view of the strip from Skyfall more than any other place to view Vegas (unless you have a room facing the strip at Aria). What I did NOT like about this place is the bar menu or the service. The menu is a somewhat small list of over-priced hipster drinks and basic bottled beer. After being told that they didn't have the ingredients to make a couple drinks I requested at the bar (which btw were nothing super fancy or unusual for Las Vegas or any reputable big city bar) the female bartender handed me their menu and said "pick something off this". WTF. I chalk it up to lazy and unskilled at your craft. Being local, I would definitely bring friends & family here for the view, but I would save the drinking for another spot. Someplace that stocks something other than bottled Corona beer and can only make you a basic martini. Which is sad, because it would be an amazing spot to sit and watch the sun go down with a great drink in hand. read more

Go to happy hour from 5-7. The view is spectacular and the outside facing elevator to the 64th floor is thrilling. A glass of wine will cost you $9 and the chickpea fries are $6. The same glass of Justin Cabernet wine cost me $18 at a restaurant the night before. The fries are light and fluffy with a crispy outside. We paired them with the spicy mayo which gave them more flavor. Be sure to checkout the bathrooms. You can relieve yourself while looking out of the floor to ceiling tinted window. read more

What a joke.... I'm disappointed, after going here due to reading the great reviews. I think a lot of people haven't "been out of Kansas" much. 1. View -- was just OK. Sooooo many other places for a fantastic view. I'd call this a good view, but nothing great or fantastic about it (the landscape/building-scape is not very impressive. It's NOT a 180 degree view, as the other half of the building branches off at a 90 degree angle and that's what you see... 2. Food was just Meh!. Sliders were tiny and insubstantial, but worst of all had not much taste or character. Ugh. 3. This place is super expensive for what you get. 4. It was a beautiful day, but the patio was closed because it was "too hot." Sure it was hot, but not too hot for the patio! 5. I had CALLED these people to ask specifically when happy hour was, and they told me 5-7PM. But when we got there at 5, the happy hour had just ended! "What a joke" from above refers to how clueless the person was who took my phone call about when happy hour was, so that I could dial it in, and gave me INCORRECT information. ugh. Was staying at Delano so i figured I would check out this place, I'm glad I did. The bar has dim but adequate lighting. The feel of the area is very modern, and could also be romantic. The DJ was playing uptempo music and the bartenders kept the drinks coming. At most, I probably waited 2-3 mins before someone offered me another drink. The view is amazing, probably one of the best in Las Vegas. Shout out to the Bartender Elvis, he was very attentive and made great drinks. read more

I had a steak here and it was perfect, the flavor that I look for in a steak was what I found here. I try to come here at least once a month, and once a year I bring a bunch a friends that are in town for WVC. It is the best view in vegas. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. Drinks are pricey but I think its fair for the beauty of the hotel, location/view, quality/design of the cocktails. I like to think of this as one of my little Vegas hidden secrets and that is probably why it has taken me this long to review it. I want to keep it as it is. I love the glass elevator ride up. Gorgeous view but I wasn't crazy about the drinks to be honest. Also the moment we got in- they put reserved on all the tables even though we were told no reservations were needed. Its more of a lounging type of a place and I'd dress up a bit if I were you. Dressy casual at the least. The place is dark as hell so watch your step ladies! I now have to write about my experience at Skyfall. Having read about the views for years I finally had the opportunity to visit this evening. What an amazing experience!! The views (obviously) were amazing but what sets Skyfall apart is the hospitality. Bartender Chris was the most personable and accommodating person I've ever met. Even though the car was crowded I felt like I was the only customer in the entire place. Kudos to MGM, Delano and Skyfall for snagging Chris. BTW he might amaze you with a magicians trick or twenty. Normally I'd give what I once knew as Mix 5 stars, but not tonight. This is one of my favorite views of Vegas, and I planned to take my partner here the last evening of our trip. I looked up the menu, and all details online. I checked the hours, and looked over the Skyfall site rather thoroughly. We went to the Mandalay from downtown, paid to park, and arrived at 11:03. Apparently last call is at 11, and they wouldn't let us up the elevator to the bar. This information should be as clear as the hours of operation. Incredibly frustrating and a huge disappointment that could have been avoided. read more

You come for the view and not much else....but the view is deserving of 5 stars. Limited menu and drinks are standard Vegas prices. Made a rezi for 7:15 for sunset and was well worth the effort. Wait staff were incredibly slow and would be normally a 2 or 3 star review without the view...we were not greeted and place was fairly empty. Took 15min after sitting to even get a menu or service. Bathrooms are dark and last one back has a beautiful view. Be sure to take the elevators up that run on the side of the building...very fun. So the view is phenomenal but staffing one bar tender during Happy Hour on a Saturday is a very poor strategy. Thought I'd buy drinks before dinner at Rivea, but that didn't work out. The one bartender was so slammed that the only time he had to talk to me, and the customers next to me, was to explain why he couldn't serve us drinks.
