I thought maybe it was because it was a Saturday night but it looks like the $10 admission fee applies all the time. I don't have a problem with that but what you are paying for is the view. And considering there are options of rooftop spectating without a fee I think the charge is unreasonable. Once you pay to get to the roof there are games, which you have to pay for separately and there is a limited bar and food stand. My carnival experience is limited to Coney Island in NY where there is not an entrance fee, but maybe entrance fees are typical. There are like 5 games and miniature golf. Eh. 12-13 for drinks? In a carnival? Come on, really? Concession stand food includes things like popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels. $6 for a hot dog? Come on. They didn't have fries and the dessert was a frozen banana. No funnel cake? And the pretzel was an everything pretzel. urgh. I just dunked it in cheese sauce because I was hungry. Otherwise what a complete miss on the food. This is what I don't understand about places that charge an admission and then charge high prices for food and drink. Why? I paid to get in, so I am most likely going to stay to get my moneys worth. If the food and drink are reasonable I will buy more. Its like the business model is lets get them once and who cares if they buy more or keep coming back. I don't get that. The view is great and its a wonderful spot for date night. We went because we wanted to check it out and enjoy a nice night in Atlanta. But it became lackluster quickly. There is a free mini rollercoaster slide that looks fun. But then its like.....what next? They had a DJ playing some good music. The view is good, but the price point and entertainment/food/drink options suck. One star because I would not go back unless something big changes. read more

Skyline Park reminds me of a beach boardwalk... sans the beach, of course. You got your carnival games, open spaces to hang around, putt-putt golf, and a tall AF slide. There's also a beer garden off to the side. You pay the $10 entrance fee at the outside ground level of PCM and make your way up to Skyline in a giant industrial elevator. Once your'e at the front of the Park, there's a little display where you can purchase reusable game cards that you reload with cash. I'm not entirely sure if there is a minimum because it gives you the option to put however much you want on the card, but the lowest amount that you can buy is $5 (which is enough to get you three rides on the slide - highly recommend!). The games and rides range anywhere from $1-3 which isn't bad at all. The mini-golf course is $10 per person, though. There's a bar that offers a sizable selection of beers and frozen cocktails, the most popular of which is the frosé. I thought it tasted great, but I'm not sure if it's worth $12 :/ My friends and I loved the cute decor, chill vibes, and the stellar view of the Atlanta skyline. However, we weren't a huge fan of how easy it is to spend $$$ here. I'm also not sure if $10 justifies the amount you pay to get in...? But, it is what it is. While I don't plan on coming here soon, I definitely think I'll take friends and family if they visit in the near future. read more

Specifically the Skyland Park was absolutely beautiful, the view is very nice. There was various games, and you can do everything unlimited for just a $15 fee, this isn't really bad at all. There's many things to do upstairs, and we stayed for about two hours or so. Overall I definitely would recommend this, I specifically enjoyed it because it was only 21+ after a particular time! read more

Sunday fun-day to date night rendevous, this roof top has it all. A one stop shop if you have no plans at all and it will be worth the visit. 10 stories up via a 90 second cargo elevator ride you stand next to strangers as you listen to your attendant give you a brief history of Ponce City Market. By the time you reach the top you are ready to explore the FOUR bars that were mentioned. $10 grants you entry to Skyline park and 9 Mile restaurant. However free, restaurant reservations will not give you the same access. The beer garden has the chic vibe so check it out if you are with some one special. I came here with the expectation to try everything this rooftop offered and those strangers on the elevator quickly became friends in the process. From $10 put put and $2 carnival games I had a really good time. The DJ kept the vibes right and as the evening progressed it felt like a party. Feel free to let loose and relax because security and staff are very present. Only tried food at the restaurant so I cannot speak for the concessions but the beer selection is impressive and I believe everything was draft. They also offer themed cocktails and frozen drinks. Put put seemed to be the main attraction and the views come second. This is the perfect location to compliment any good time. read more

We purchased tickets ahead of time for a night at Skyline Park. They were closed the day while we were supposed to be there because of inclement weather (high winds and ice). We were promised a refund within 4 business days. It is now 4 months later and no refund. No one answers the phone or returns voicemails. The manager promised he would take care of it, but he will not return emails. read more

I have been to Skyline Park now a couple of times. Once in the fall and once in May. I would definitely like to advise people with small children or the elderly to aim for earlier in the day or the evenings as it can get incredibly hot. There is some shading but they could honestly do better. The cost to ride the elevator up is $10. Its more or less a charge for pretty cool instagram photos with a nice skyline view of ATL. I have played all the games as we came with my husband's company. If you are paying per game--- it is incredibly expensive with each game $3-5. The rooftop bar options include RFD (indoors) and nine mile station which has the open rooftop (limited shade). 9 mile has a pretty good brunch and mimosas and of course has the great view. If you make a reservation here, you can get your $10 back in food credit. I love being able to escape the heat at RFD. They have nice comfy chairs and AC! My biggest complaint here is that all the drinks come in pretty heavy plastic with no recycling option. This has got to change. Also.. the break a plates can and should be recycled. read more

Awesome time! Yes it's $10 for the entrance, and additional $10 for golf... But everything else now is free! Played every game and even won small prizes. We went on a Sunday, so not sure if it's like that all the time or not... But definitely worth the money now. The view is still amazing. Just to be clear, we didn't need any game cards to play. What a neat concept, though the price of admission ($10 per adult) is still a little steep for what you're getting. Can't imagine having to pay additional for each game and can see why this turned off a lot of people. Maybe that's why they've changed the model -- at least for now, all you pay is the price of admission, then all the games are free. Mini golf is still an additional $10/person though (boo). The entrance is tucked away. It's in the courtyard (can access it from the parking lot via the area by the Valet stand, or if you're already in the Food Hall then go out the doors near Hop's Kitchen), look for signs for "The Roof". You'll see stands with cashiers as well. A big freight elevator takes you up to the park, on the roof of Ponce City Market. There are the typical cute and retro games - Horse Derby, Skeeball, Ring Toss, and hoops (Ponce Shots). The big slide was a personal favorite -- makes you feel like a kid again! The Heege Tower is fun too, as you get an (even more) bird's eye view. We skipped the mini golf, as the course looked fairly plain and not worth an extra $10 per person. There's a concessions stand including beer, but food didn't look that tasty. Recommend eating in the Food Hall in the Market first, then coming up. FYI they have a super-strict "No Outside Food or Drink" policy, including bringing up any leftovers (yeesh!). As other reviewers have said, there's literally no shade up there. Go up at dusk to catch the sunset (best view is from the platform above the big slide), and play games when it's cooler out. Would come back if they added something else to do, as you can easily blow through all the games in 30 minutes. read more

My first time here I went on a Friday and had a blast! Its hard to find there's no signs whatsoever, I had to ask someone to point me in the right direction, It's cheap to get in and the games aren't that expensive. I got a drink which was $12 that's a bit much but it was tasty, didn't get to try any food, the crowd was diverse and friendly, there was a dj playing music, people dancing, watching the views, etc. I played a couple games, won some prizes and rode down the slide which went fast lol I will def come back here often! read more

I finally visited Skyline Park during my birthday weekend for the Mardi Gras party they were hosting. I must say that I was very disappointed in this decision after the hype leading to it. First and foremost for visitors, there is a surcharge to get to the roof regardless of an event or everyday. This process was fairly quick for us despite the event. Once we were upstairs, I was disappointed to see the "NOLA" themed menu, as well as the ridiculous lines for drinks. I didn't try the food, however, by the look of my friends it didn't appear appetizing. I must say the drinks were tasty, however, that didn't overcome the disappoints. I most definitely want to return and visit this place on a normal day because it does provide an aerial view of midtown Atlanta, it has games (swings, golf, slides, etc.) so it definitely can be a great place for an adult fun day; however, I do not think it is capable of holding massive public events such as this. There is a restaurant on the rooftop separate of the Skyline menu that I most definitely will return and try out. From the looks of it, I would definitely recommend for a date night, birthday event, etc. read more

It's a great concept and from a design perspective is really cool looking, but it's not worth $10 admission just to be allowed onto the roof where you then have to pay for everything else separately. Lose the admission charge and you'll do a lot more business. Until then, I won't be back. The view is nice, but you can get just as good a view if not better from many other places around the city that won't cost you $10. read more

As diverse as Atlanta is you would think bartenders would service everyone . I stopped by "The Sideshow" . I waited at the counter for quite a while before walking away . I noticed that other women of color were not treated the same as the men & white women . Such a shame, the aesthetic is cute , the DJ was decent . Skyline Park's entire business model seems outrageously greedy. Don't get me wrong, I thought the place was pretty unique. The views were pretty, the elevator and rides were pretty cool. However, it is definitely not worth the cost. We had to pay $15 tonight because it was a "special" event..."special" meaning they had a wedding DJ and a hula hoop contest. Then once you get there, you end up paying more for the games and drinks. They should either include the rides in the entrance cost or don't charge an entrance cost but charge the games. The costs are going to keep locals from returning. The new Clermont rooftop a couple doors down from Ponce is now open and is ~free~ so I'll probably be checking that out soon. read more

Skyline Park is like Communism... great in theory- terrible in reality. On the plus side, the views are great, but you can get an equally great view for free in the garden Department in Restoration Hardware. The attractions try to honor old-timey games, but they aren't cheap, and the prizes are terrible. The "carnies" don't even try to get your attention (and actually, maybe that's a good thing!) It costs 4 people well over $30 just to gain access to spend more money. The worst part for me was the sorry excuse for mini golf. It's like the person who designed it has never been to a mini-golf before... or or maybe they secretly hope it will fail & be replaced w something else. Mind-boggling​. Oh I wanted to give this many more stars but I just couldn't. First I would recommend NOT coming here on a warm summer day in Atlanta. The park doesn't offer very much shade and so you can become overheated very quickly. They also don't have any kind of water fountain area for hydration so beware. I came with a group of friends to experience being a kid again! It was neat to ride the elevator to the top floor. When you arrive you immediately get excited because the layout of the park is beautiful! It is colorful and vibrant and looks new! Once you pay the entrance fee you free to play the games. The downside is that each game costs money that is deducted from your declining balance card. I felt that the price of the games (2-3 dollars) was a bit high for the 2 minutes of play time you get. I did not like that the prizes were not that cool and there was no prize for the game where you strive to hit the bell (can't think of the name of it). You pay 3 bucks to take 3 swings. I hit the bell and asked for my prize and the attendant said there isn't one but he gave me a condolence skyline flag that was pretty cheap. We did not try the slide because it's made of mental and it was too hot to slide on it. They do have mats but if you touch the sides... Ouch! I felt that mini golf should be included in the price of admission so... Pass on that. There are two highlights! 1. The frozen margaritas! They were boozy and delicious! 2. The bathrooms... They were the place to go to cool off not just pee lol! Would I go back-- maybe in the fall but, probably not. read more

It cost my boyfriend and I $20 to get up here, $3 to park our car at Ponce, $24 dollars for one round of drinks and $5 dollars to get charged for a card and then play one single Skeeball game for nothing. We spent $52 dollars in 30 minutes and basically just sat here at stared at a (albeit beautiful) view for nothing. What a stupid waste of money. Congratulations at a straight screw-over, Jamestown. The ten dollar cover is unwelcome especially when you're greeted with a pay stand to enjoy any of the games as soon as you leave the elevator. The view of upper Midtown is nice and Buckhead is visible in the distance. It seems like the west side of the building would have provided a much better view is the city overall as lower Midtown is completely obstructed by the bar and the ponce city market sign. The bar had long lines serviced by drink pourers rather than bartenders. The guy taking orders greeted me as "bronamath." The $10 - $12 mass ordered cocktails that were dispensed out of a spigot were sold out. The games and rides are not included in the cost of the ride up the elevator. The putt-putt seemed to leave people wanting. They'll even swipe your credit card to ride down a slide. It seems like they would have been much better served to use the same model as they do inside the market. Allow the best vendors (beer, wine, cocktails, food) to operate upstairs and compete on their merit. Instead they decided to run a poorly executed Coney island knock off on top of some of the best real estate in Atlanta. All told two local beers with the elevator ride set us back just south of $40. read more

Came here to meet an old friend after an event she attended up on the roof on a Saturday night. I was worried about parking but found a great spot in the front. Used my parkmobile app and paid $4.30 for 2 hour parking that I didn't even use all of it. It's a pretty fair price in my opinion.. The price to get up is $10 like everyone says. They give you a wrist band and you wait in line to get on the elevator. Once you're up there you see the games, putt putt and all they have to offer.. They had a DJ that played some good music by the slide. They have a bar and a restaurant. Just be prepared- the drinks are overly priced. A lot of things are pricey here so it's weird that they close at 11 on a Saturday. They have the potential to make so much more money if they stayed open later. Like other reviewers have said- I think the $10 cover to go up on the elevator should include more. Maybe a free ride down the slide and one game for free- at least something. Overall, I think it's a cute place to go on a date. Not sure I'd come back with friends for a get away. read more

The idea is great. A rooftop carnival with mini golf and a bar...yes, please! But I think it's a bit pricey for what it is. Ten bucks gets you up there but nothing more. The view is amazing as advertised. The frozen cocktails are pretty good. The mini golf course didn't look very good. I think it's worth a go at least once, then decide for yourself. I'm giving this 3 stars because I know this place just recently opened, and I'm hoping for some future improvements. I love the whole concept of this place. Amazing rooftop view of the city, fun simple games for the family and a bar up there. From what most of the reviews here mentioned, I also agree that the $10 fee to go up the rooftop is a bit much. Especially for families who have to not only pay for the Ponce City Market Parking, but also for extra games and what not on the roof. I will definitely come back, but not too often. Hopefully this place expands with other fun games, fun events to be held there at night for adults, daytime events for families, and to take away that fee to ride that 20 second elevator to the roof. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going with my kids who were dying for this to open . Like others have said, the view is amazing and it was very well created. I really had a hard time with the concept of paying $24 for me and two young kids to simply be allowed up the elevator . Either give everyone a voucher towards items, require you put $ on a card for games to be allowed up, or even admit kids in free with paying adult . It limited how much I would eventually spend upstairs. The golf course was beautiful but they need to put some rubber /wooden stoppers around the course so the balls stay in . The drinks were reasonable but they do not allow outside items in even from the PcM food hall. Glad we went there after . My 7 year old is an avid mini golf player and we had high hopes for this. After one mid- day trip that cost with parking over $50, we will not be coming back often . read more

I just want to send Chris (events manager) a huge THANK YOU! We had our Atlanta Housewives launch event at Skyline Park and Chris was amazing to work with. It's a stunning atmosphere. Many of our guest raved about it and said they are coming back ! Their employees we're over the top amazing! The bar was awesome! So many guest were eating the walking tacos which were delicious! I tried my first one there! Our founder, Andrea, was making everyone try the cotton candy because it seriously was the best! Oh and let's not forget about the views!! Very expensive for a poorly designed putt-putt golf game. My wife and I spent $20 just to get up to the roof. $10/person to play golf. Another $3/person to play skee-ball. $30/ish bucks for a hotdog, frito-pie and a 2 drinks. Plus...it rained! Not a huge deal, they can't control the weather but now I have a game card with $13 bucks left on it. (They make you put cash on a card which you then use to pay for the midway games) but to spend that $13 I have to....you guessed it, pay $10 to get back up to the roof! Do not go! Spend the cash and go to Six Flags. Yes, it's more expensive but almost everything is included once you get in. read more

The concept and location are great. The putt putt course is poorly designed and it's $10 a head on top of $10 cover charge. The slide is $1.00 but one game of Ski-ball is $2.00. The bartenders were very friendly and prices are what one would expect in this venue ($7.00 draft beer and $9.00 specialty drinks). The views are incredible and there is an observation deck where the slide begins. Great first - second date place but expect to spend $80-120.00 after its said and done. I would recommend that the operators review the pricing structure and value. But I can imagine the lease payment on the rooftop is outrageous which may factor into the high costs of the entertainment. read more

What a rip-off! Two adults and one kid on a Thursday night. Elevator fee$27. Yes it cost that much to really ride an elevator up and down. Once you get up there's a $1 fee to buy a card so you can then load money to play over priced games. $2 for Skee Ball, etc. most of which already had multiple out of service stalls. The mini golf course is uninspired at best. The views are nice but you can get them elsewhere without an elevator fee. Stick with the PCM restaurants and retail which is amazing. Avoid the temptation to hit the roof. Might only justify it for a date night, possibly a first date night. But then again your date might think you lack good judgment paying for an elevator ride that costs 50% more on Friday and Saturday! read more

Here's a breakdown of what my boyfriend and I spent in about an hour: 2 entries for $20 total - this got us a ride up the elevator 3 drinks $22 total - this was pretty reasonable and the pours were generous 2 putt putt golf games for $20 total - this is outrageous for sub-par (pun intended) course 1 $5 game card - this got us two games of SKEE BALL (are you kidding me? I'll go to ormsby's and pay a quarter next time. Total - $67 in about an hour in a half. No thanks. I'm sure they are trying to recoup their investment quickly but unless they lower prices, I will chalk this up to a one-time visit. read more

I thought it was going to be an overpriced balcony view of Atlanta, but boy was I wrong. It was absolutely worth the $10 entry and experience. I'm glad I was talked into going by a friend. It began with our elevator guide (Fred), as we began our accent. Fred was very energetic and welcoming. We got there at about 8:30, right at dusk, and the views of downtown ATL, midtown, Buckhead, along with the Beltline made a great view with the colors of the sky! I won't ever be back to Skyline Park. I'll probably visit Ponce City Market again, but my experience on the roof was less than impressive. From the ticket buying to grabbing a quick beer I was met with some of the most impersonal employees ever. "Welcome to Atlanta" right?! The service interactions were the equivalent of buying a burger at Hardee's. The concept is great and the views are nice, but for the money and the service, I wasn't proud to say that I'm from Atlanta to the other guests. My kids even won prizes as I dumped money into the carnival games and we had to "bother" the employees to get the prize. Zero enthusiasm! read more
