Have been going to this salon for a couple of years. Prices were average and staff friendly. Some times my fingers or toes were nicked when cutting but nothing too bad. When they reopened after being shut down for Covid they increased their prices by $10 which I completely understood due to the cost they incurred for safety measures as well as lost revenue during the shut down. The last time I visited, they had a sign stating there was a slight increase in price due to increased costs from their suppliers. I foolishly assumed the "slight" increase would be only a couple of dollars but when I went to pay I was shocked that the increase was an additional $6 making the entire increase almost 50% from the original price. I understand an increase in price is needed from time to time but this seems more like greed and gouging the customer. I will not be back. read more

I love the way my nails came out! Evelyn did a great job and really took her time. The reason why I only gave it 3 stars is because the kids there were really loud and bumping into nails technicians while they were working. One of the younger ones also had an accident on one of the chairs in the waiting area and they didn't do a good job of disinfecting the chair and area after. I also saw some technicians pull files from containers that were clearly marked "soiled". Great nails but not as clean as I would like, so I'll be looking for cleaner salons. read more

Extremely rude service!!!! My two friends and I walked in to Skyller Nails and Spa after calling to try to make an appointment which I was told just to come in after 5:30pm. We arrived at 5:15 pm my friend was taken but this older lady possibly the owner/manager she was asked if she could do a certain design and she accepted, my friend noticed she wasn't doing it correctly and asked her nicely if she can fix it, the lady rolled her eyes and at one point slapped her hand this is not okay what so ever! I was being helped my this guy who sits to the left when we walked in and wears a baseball hat. He was so rough complained about the design when he said he could do it, but that wasn't all when he finished my set which btw I had to fix the shape because instead of coffin I had square nails. He was absolutely so unprofessional and extremely rude to my other friend he yelled at her he was slamming things on his work station he would say he could do something then backtrack and scream at her at one point he yelled at her to not say "just like the picture" he kept looking at the time not to mentioned they took another customer after hours but yet he was complaining that he was doing overtime when we had arrived at the time we were told even 15 min earlier. Please DO NOT COME HERE I understand they are short staff due to COVID everyone was impacted but it doesn't give anyone the right to treat someone with so much disrespect! It was my first time here and I'm so happy I live across the street from this place! Kayleigh did a perfect job on my full set. She listened to what kind of shape and length I wanted and paid very close attention to detail. I love my nails and will definitely be coming here every 2 weeks instead of my other place because it is closer to my house and also more affordable. This place just opened up 2 months ago and they were already busy when I walked in at 11 so I would suggest making an appointment, although they a walk ins welcome policy. The people were really nice but when I got my nails done the person who did my pedicure kept hurting me and they cut my nails way too short I was sore the next couple days. The person who did my nails was very nice and sweet but seemed to be in a hurry to finish. My manicure wasn't that great. For my overall experience the service was friendly but as for the nails I wouldn't go back and I won't recommend going. read more

I came in for a pedicure, first time customer. I asked for a basic pedicure and the lady said okay. She does my toes, cleans my feet, and polish, then ends up telling me it's 10 dollars extra than what I agreed upon because of the extra polish? Makes no sense so I paid it and just won't be returning. If I wanted something extra I would have asked for it. You do not get to dictate what "extra" you do and then just ask me to pay for it. read more

Came in on Sunday with 3 of my family members who I brought to get our nails done. When I was finished with my nails I paid for them with a hundred dollar bill so I could get change to pay for 2 of the others I brought with me. My nails were $30 and they set $10 on the desk and went around trying to find the rest of the money to give me. When she finally returned with money she handed me 2-$20s and 1-$10 and I said I'm supposed to get $70 back and she said she had already gave me 1-$20 and 1-$10. I know she didn't because I had specifically left the money on the desk till I got all my change. I'm a local business owner and I personally would not have lost 4 loyal clients over $20. Be careful how you handle your money in this establishment. They are sneaky! read more

Walked in on a Tuesday morning around 10:15am with no appointment but seeing their rating and close location I decided to give it a shot. There was maybe 2 other clients and when I asked for a full set and pedicure I was seated immediately. One girl started on my pedicure and about halfway through Evelyn started on my full set. Was there a total of 1hr 45min which is a bit lengthy but both girls' attention to detail was worth the time of service. Also the salon got busier and had about 5 other clients by the time I was done. Really happy with my acrylic set and pedicure will definitely be coming back! read more

Reviewing on my second visit... I just moved to the area a few months ago. So this is the second nail shop I've tried. I absolutely loved my gel manicure done by Linda. She's the same person that did it the first time. This second visit I'm having her do both my manicure and pedicure. Last visit the gentlemen that did my pedicure was okay but I could tell by my mani that Linda would do could with my pedi. The things that matter most to me when getting my nails and feet done are the following: 1) How well they clean; remove extra clean, cut cuticles, cut hang nails, etc. 2) Attention to detail. 3) No matter what's going on in the shop they take their time with me and don't rush through the job. (Linda hit all three of the above spot on) 4) In an ideal world I would love there to be more English speaking than their own language but I haven't found that anywhere. And here it doesn't seem like they are talking about their customers. I made an appointment this time and she was ready at my appointment time. Okay so this is my first time here and evelyn did a great job. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is for two reasons. One I was a walk in so i understand if they are busy. I asked for an appointment they told me to come back in an hour to check if they'll be available. They did look busy. I waited in my car and I decide to call to make a legitimate appointment not like a "come back around an hr" i eanted a set time. They told me they could take me right away which was odd because when I was in person they told me to wait an hr. But whatever I'm glad they took me in. My nails loom great. The second reason was she cut my skin on my pinky and kind of dismissed it. I know accidents happen but its all about how you approach it. She was just like ok ill put alchohol. And didnt even do it til towards the end and it hurt so bad the entire time. Now as im waiting 4 my pedi my pinky still hurts from the cut. I guess i just wished she would've been more sympathetic towards the situation rather than dismissive. Im going to assume its because she is very busy and had another appointment waiting. Regardless, I did enjoy her work she was quick but very precise. I will definitely give it a second try because my nails do look gorgeous. read more

I come to Skyller pretty often to get my nails done, but after today's visit I had to leave this place some feedback. I had my 2 year old son with me to run a few errands and I was super hesitant to get my nails done. I decided to go anyways because I was in dire need of a gel mani/pedi. Long story short, everyone was SO accommodating and sweet to my 2 year old terror. I mean, I literally had my hands and feet tied down and my boy was giving the nail techs a good laugh and extra work such as picking up my phone that he dropped about ten times and opening about a dozen packets of snacks for him, all the while being extra meticulous with my nails. It's refreshing to be taken care of and not ridiculed by a business for having extra baggage. All in all, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the amazing customer service. They sat me in a pedicure chair at 10 and I sat there until 1020 until some came over and filled the bowl up with water. I went into this place close to closing and sat with Mike. He was really nice and I had a good vibe with him. I did a fill and gel with matte top coat and designs. He stayed an hour after closing for me! I felt bad but appreciated him. I just gave him my Versace Yellow Diamond fragrance I had in my purse and said " just use this for inspiration, give me something classy, but fancy! I gave him freedom of art and just told him what I definitely didn't like "glitter" lol He was patient and very, very cool. He was honest about not being able to do certain things I was interested in like the ombré or 3D. That's the only reason for the three and not four. He charged me 45$ and I gave him a 20$ tip for being patient and not making me feel like he just wanted me out of chair.. the only reason I will go elsewhere is because I want more trending designs in future without limits. Overall I really liked my nails and got a few compliments so far! Thankyou Mike I appreciate you! Oh and He actually shaped them so much better because the lady at Tyme Nails off McKinley left them so uneven and one thumb so crooked and different from the other! read more
