I went within that same week to get it fixed she sent a guy to fix them he said she made my nails to thin and they would eventually break I asked him to add powder he said he couldn't. This was just a waste of my money and time. I came in today for a full set and with a very simple design (basically a rounded French tip) She rushed through the entire manicure, was extremely aggressive filing, and cut my cuticles multiple times. Then simply paints my fingers white. When I asked no design she just said no you said just white? She literally asked to look at the picture multiple times???? This nail salon is in a good location! I just got my nails done and i love them, we'll see how long they last. Im a skeptic if I've never been to a particular nail place. Needless to say this is my first visit! It is a nice salon, for the exception of where you dry your nails.. it was Dusty and there were spider webs, which wasn't pleasant. Maybe they just missed them, but I'm not sure. I got a full set and they were $20 which is about normal price. My only other complaint is that they talk to each other a lot! This last time I was disappointed when I realized that the nail technician didn't open up a sanitized pack of utensils when she started. By the time I noticed she was almost done. This is my first visit here. I stumbled up on this nail location on Yelp. The staff is really friendly and the location appears to be clean and overall inviting. Backstory: I'm a lifelong nail biter so I decided to get acrylics (at another locations, about 3 fills in) I then decided I wasn't too much of an acrylic person, myself. I did some research on acrylic removal and I ended up soaking my fingers in acrylic and hot water then peeled, buffed, bit, yanked the acrylic nails off. I was left with some brittle fragile poor things. I decided to file them down and apply gel. I came on a Sunday afternoon and was attended instantly. I didn't catch the lady's name who did my nails, but she was really nice and did an awesome job. It was a gel manicure, she asked what I wanted and did exactly that. I went to get my nails done for prom. It was my first time here and it will be my last. The nails were okay they looked pretty enough so I didn't complain to them. However the acrylic was very thick and not more natural looking. I know acrylics are not natural but they should at least look nice. It seemed like the lady that did my nails wanted to just get them done instead of fulfilling the service. She was very rude and even my friend that came with me to get her toes done said that they were very rude. I even tried to make conversation and she was just very quiet listening to her AirPods. I normally get an acrylic gel set because I'm a nail biter but thought I'd just get gel on my regular nails. I am so happy with the results! I am not sure of the name of the person who did my nails, but she was very gentle when cutting my cuticles and filing my nails. Ok- so it's pros vs. cons: The work is decent. The people are nice enough although they don't talk very much (depending on who you get). However: you will have to deal with their kids running and screaming through the shop. They were throwing their toys, crying, running into people, the whole deal. Make sure to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. walk ins are welcomed however they get busy. Full staff and all you will be waiting if you don't make an appt ahead of time. Prices are great. $47 for full set get and spa pedicure. Not bad! Kaylee is my girl. She takes her time and never leaves residue underneath my nails. I've been to this place twice and both times I waited at least half an hour to sit down even with an appointment and I did not end up with the nails I asked for either. When I asked for jewels on my nails the guy doing them said "no it won't look good" and refused to put them on even after I told him I wanted them and was willing to pay extra for them. I just got my nails done there because I wanted to give it another chance and the woman who did them shortened them way!!!! too much with the nail file even after I asked her to stop because they were too short. I got acrylics done and went in to have them removed. I have never had acrylics before so I didnt know the removal process. They ripped off the acrylic. They did not file them down or soak them at all they just ripped them off. I was in so much pain. I asked if this process was normal and she said yes. We recently moved to Riverside from Orange County and I wanted to look for a nail salon who is good at trimming cuticle. I tried the shop down on Pierce St and Magnolia. However, they overcharged me without trimming any cuticle. I was very disappointed. Skyller nail and spa was opened not too long ago, and i wanted to give it a try. First time, I came in for my gel manicure. Lily did it for me. She spent her time trimming my cuticle and putting on layers of gel color. Two clear coats at the end made my nails more shiny and last forever. The price is super afforadable. Lily is very friendly. She doesn't talk much, which I really like. Ever since, I come back every two weeks for my pedicure and gel manicure with Lily. The best thing about Lily is she never rush doing the work even there are people waiting. I literally don't even know where to start. I came in at 1:30 for my appointment and wasn't helped until like 2. Which was not a big deal. The guy that was helping me had just finished a pedicure, and didn't change his gloves before coming to sit to start my nails. I should have left right then and there. I asked him if he can change his gloves before he started working on me. He got mad and started giving me attitude saying they were clean but I literally watched him leave from the pedicure station to come over to me. He went to wash his hands and change his gloves but gave me attitude. Then while I was looking for a color, I had a reference photo that I was using to look at the color. The guys pulls out these really narrow tips, and puts a tip that would have fit my pinky finger perfectly on my middle finger. I told him three times that I did not want my nails so narrow but he was just like yeah I'm going to make it wider. And I was like alright (again I should have left a long time ago). He puts the tips on and he's doing the acrylic and as soon as I get the chance to look, I tell him once again that they were too narrow. and he continues to do what he's doing so after he finishes my right hand I look at it and I told him these were not at all the shape I wanted (I had told him since the beginning and told him too that the picture I was looking at was for color reference not shape or length reference). I pulled my hand away and asked him once again if he was going to be able to do a different shape because again, after the third or fourth time, I told him it was not the shape I wanted. He starts going off on me. He's like plain out yelling at me and telling me that I needed to tell him what shape I wanted and that he was going based off the picture. I told him since the beginning that the picture was for color reference not shape reference. I told him to take off what he had already done because I was going somewhere else. I told him that he was not listening to what I was saying. He continues to go off on me and one of the other workers goes over and is talking to him in a different language and finally she says in english, don't fight. She looks and asks what happened and I told her and she offered to do them for me but the man had already gone off on me and was still making side comments. DO NOT COME HERE. It really is not worth your time, I wish I had take a picture. the nails that he had done were clumpy, deformed and he genuinely put a nail tip that should have gone on my pinky on my middle finger. They were unsanitary, un professional and rude. Go somewhere else. Adore on Magnolia is ten times better and they have a rewards program. read more

Have been going to this salon for a couple of years. Prices were average and staff friendly. Some times my fingers or toes were nicked when cutting but nothing too bad. When they reopened after being shut down for Covid they increased their prices by $10 which I completely understood due to the cost they incurred for safety measures as well as lost revenue during the shut down. The last time I visited, they had a sign stating there was a slight increase in price due to increased costs from their suppliers. I foolishly assumed the "slight" increase would be only a couple of dollars but when I went to pay I was shocked that the increase was an additional $6 making the entire increase almost 50% from the original price. I understand an increase in price is needed from time to time but this seems more like greed and gouging the customer. I will not be back. read more
