When I was planning my trip to Niagara, I knew that a ride on the ferris wheel was a must do for the views alone. I bought a ticket at the kiosk and it being off season I only waited a few minutes before I was asked to hop on. You are given your own pod and aren't asked to share with strangers, so that was a plus in my book. The ride lasted almost 15 minutes which was plenty of time for pictures, videos, and to sit back and enjoy the ride. The pictures I took did not come out very clear do to the glass being a bit dingy with water spots from recent rains. I felt safe and secure on the ride. I did see a button that could be used to communicate with the operators if necessary and I do believe there were cameras that they could use to keep an eye on the riders.

Great view for a decent price. A must do while in niagara falls, CA! Temperature controlled and roomy cabins. I think we went around about three times. We timed it well enough to see the falls lit up!

I was pleasantly surprised that this ride was so good! The ride cost $15 per person and the cabinet fits four. There are excellent views of the Niagara falls and the surrounding city, we caught our cabin right before sunset so we had spectacular views. The cabin is conditioned and clean and the staff were super friendly. You go to the top 5 times and stay there for a minute or two before going back down and the ride last between 15-20 minutes. In many ways this ride is much better than the one we have in Orlando at ICON park. The smaller cabinet makes it more intimate if your on a date, the ride goes to the top more than once, and of course the view of Niagara falls can't be beat. I recommend buying the Fun pass so you can go on more rides at a discounted rate but if you have the choice of going on one ride this one should be it.

Let's Ride ! Built-in 2006. This ferris wheel is 175 feet tall The price to build it was $10 million. To ride the ferris wheel cost $15 or you can get the package deal for $40 and that includes five other fun things to do like the wax museum and the putt putt golf. Each cart fits about four people. We had three in our party and was able to have one to ourselves. It went around about six times or about 15 minutes. This gives a great view of the Falls and also Clifton Hill. We got on just before sunset and was able to catch a few good photos. We have one here in Florida called the Orlando eye it is about 400 ft tall and cost about $90 million to build. The biggest Ferris wheel in United States is in Las Vegas ..the High Roller coming in at 550 feet tall and a cost of $300 million! Make sure you check it out if you're in the area.

The line goes by very quickly. I went on at night so I was not able to see far but was able to see all the holiday lights from high up which was enjoyable. I'm afraid of heights but was able to do this. I thought the boxes we ride in would be heated but they were not. There was a fan going for I believe a fluctuation of air.

I've been to Niagara Falls many times in the past and not sure why I haven't hit up the Clifton Hill attractions until now. This is definitely one of the highlights, Clifton Hill attractions, something you should do once. Currently the price sits at $15. Great view to the Falls. Lots of space inside each ride to fit at least 4. A better value if you get the package for $35, which includes the few other rides, mini putt, wax museum and a several coins to the arcade. You can buy it there. Even better deal is if you plan ahead and buy at Costco and get a $20 for the pass. I think the pace of the ride is good, enough rounds so you got your picture perfect shot but not too much that it gets boring. Hot tip, if you want to avoid the wait go when it first opens at 9:30am or during the day. We find that the lineup at night much longer.

This is a fun ride with the kids and a great view. They have a fan and music playing inside. A bit pricey, but a great ride

My family of 7 and I used the skywheel on a weekday afternoon. We had a great experience. There was no wait and we went around about 4 times or so. The views were amazing of Niagara Falls. We got tickets for this attraction through our Clifton Hill pass. I would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Believe it or not I had never been on a Ferris Wheel, and it was on my bucket list. Well, the SkyWheel in Niagara Falls made it worth the wait! The views from the ride were phenomenal. The ride is pretty lengthy giving you time to snap photos of the views, take selfies, and just to enjoy the ride itself. If you visit Niagara Falls make this one of your stops.

Amazing attraction. Few mins walk from Niagara Falls. Amazing location . Lots of restaurants and kids playing areas around . We didn't have time to go on top to view Niagara . Missed it . Next time for sure . Not that expensive .. about 13$ I guess . We did skyline towers and I though the view is similar to that . Overall a nice spot

You get a great view of Niagara Falls and the surround area. I loved it but my boyfriend didn't like the constant stopping

I love a Ferris wheel ride! It's fun and exciting to see a city from that view! Plus it brings back that wonder of being a child! The minute I realized this was across the street from our hotel, I knew I was going on it at some point during our visit! I also when I found out my boyfriend had never been on one! We went on Friday evening. Tickets for two adults was just under $30 which was fine with me. The SkyWheel was beautiful and made in Switzerland. The views of the falls and surrounding areas were beautiful! This is a must do if you visit the falls!

    Britni L.

It's something you probably need to do once in your life. If you're going for the views, I prefer the Skylon tower. If you like Ferris wheels, this is a big one. You will wait. It took us 40 minutes at 7:30 to get on. However, add 15 mins to buy tickets. They load and unload the entire wheel, add another 10-15 minutes. If you don't love being stuck in fixed positions around the wheel that long, this ride isn't for you. I'm that person so I'm reviewing based on my son's experience. Then they go around twice (a few more minutes). When we got off after 8:30 sometime, the lines were FAR longer. The area gets really crowded in that hour. I was told they go through about 500 people and hour and they are sanitizing after each person. The views are nice but the windows inside are a little cloudy and in need of cleaning. My son loved it, despite the lines. It's not too expensive.

You can get some significant savings versus showing up and buying tickets upon arrival. The changing rooms are tiny, and there are just 2 showers which can be very challenging given the massive crowds this place attracts. The facilities include a wave pool, an adults area with hot tubs, a big playpen with slides and obstacle courses, waterslides and a big splashpad with water features. There is also a restaurant where you can order fairly standard mediocre pool food like pizza, cheeseburgers, and overpriced desserts like freeze pops, ice cream sandwiches, etc. They do make some great cocktails! My partner had their Pina Colada's and i was impressed that they actually made them by hand with a blender. They also offer beer. Overall, it was a nice day out with the family. Room: Comfortable for 4 people, including an infant. They happily supplied a crib but you can't reserve it ahead of time. You had to request it when you check-in. They will then deliver it to your room within 10 minutes and leave it to you to set it up. Yes, you can hear tons of noise but it's a family resort. We had a technical malfunction during our stay with the door and they were quick to repair it and offering us a different room if we wanted (which we declined). The cable in the room is WEIRD! I wish they had supplied an outline of the stations because it wasn't obvious where to find what. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable and loved having direct access to the parking lot as well as the hotel. Water park: Tons of fun for young kids! Lots of life jackets for young swimmers. Lifeguards appeared very attentive and were quickly stopping any unruly behaviour. It was nice and warm inside the park and they have a shop that sells anything you might have forgotten...except swim diapers, they don't sell those! Arcade: Everything was working when we were there and lots of fun for the kids. Lots of options for prizes as well. The oasis poolside snack bar, which is fully licensed, is my new favourite place. I made no less than 8 trips there during my stay. Their mocktails and cocktails were delicious. Food was fresh and 4 flavours of dippin' dots as well. The only breakfast option is a paid all-you-can-eat buffet. $10 for kids and $20 for adults. This part was frustrating as my child was sick most of the weekend and if you just wanted a cup of juice you were stuck. Also, I was never hungry enough to warrant the adult buffet price. I just wanted coffee... For those who only want a cup of coffee in the morning: they do offer complimentary coffee and tea to the room or you can go to the lobby and pay $2.80 for a delicious cup of coffee that comes out of a preset machine. After my first cup, that became my second favourite part of the hotel (after the Oasis snack bar). The one downside? The front desk staff! On Saturday morning, while I was enjoying the coffee described above, I saw at least 3 different parties at the desk asking to speak to management for various issues. On our checkout day, I wanted to delay our checkout as I had 2 sick children and we had an hour before an important meeting. My son just wanted to stay in bed while we waited. Upon asking the front desk if we could delay our checkout I heard a curt "no" on the phone before they hung up. Instead he used the little energy he had, to walk around the arcade for the hour. It wouldn't deter me from staying there again but just wanted to let others know, they aren't flexible on their policies. Overall, it was an amazing weekend away! I would definitely stay there again!

If you think the moving chair will be a problem, no worries, you can ask them for a static seat. This attraction did not live up to the hype. While waiting in line, you are given various info about the ride, including the fact that everyone will get a score at the end. However, only the top 4 players got a score. When we asked the worker why that's the case, they said they didn't know, but that it hasn't shown scores for everyone for as long as he's worked there, so it's "normal" we didn't see it (okay, but then why are we told we'll see it while waiting in line?). Also, while in queue, we could see the live scores of the people currently playing (along with a photo of them in their chair). That's great... Except only those that aren't actually playing sees this. Again, how does that make any sense? The 3D glasses were also not that great. They were old and blurry. My friends all said theirs was the same. It worked, but it was quite blurry. Another problem is that there's no way to see which dot on the screen is yours. My friend said she shot a single point to the far left and realized the laser landed much higher than where she was pointing, so hers was unfortunately not accurate at all. Two of the top 4 players were sitting right behind us. As the scores were displayed, one of them said, "I held down the trigger the entire time!" The other responded, "Same!". I don't think that's how laser guns should work, but yeah, don't bother continuously pulling the trigger as you'll only risk tiring out your hand. Just spray and pray lol. I don't know exactly how long each ride lasted, but it definitely wasn't super long. Imo, not worth it unless you have the Fun Pass. Note: If you're carrying things with you, you'll either have to keep it in your lap or on the floor. There's no storage area.

These aren't your typical zombies as these ones are fast and extremely aggressive, so if you're not on your A-game you're going down. The game is fast-paced and there is a lot of movement and action on the screen and in the seat so if you can't handle this type of motion this ride might not be for you. All-in-all, if I was in town and looking for a fun time I would definitely come back.
