I adore Slab, and was so excited when they finally put in a location in Lehi! Their pizza is delicious and I love the variety! There are definitely options for everyone, and you can be as adventurous or safe as you like. I love their white pizza and their Thai chicken, but even their more "normal" pizzas (like pepperoni or veggie) are really great. The crust is pretty thin and crispy, and the pizza isn't overly greasy, but still full of flavor. This pizza doesn't make me feel disgustingly unhealthy like most pizza places, which is a HUGE plus. The portion size is huge, and I always have leftovers, so the price is very reasonable. Although I have always found it a little strange that they serve the pizza on wax paper, but it's just another quirk that makes it fun :) Def worth a trip if you have never been :) read more

The place is a bit more upscale inside compared to the original location in Provo which is a plus. However, the crust is not the same. It seems a lot more crunchier overall. The pizzas at the other location had a light crisp in the middle and gets chewier by the crust. I like that a whole lot better. As the name implies, you order by the slab... which means 1/4 of a 20" pizza (though each slab is then cut into two slices). They can mix and match ingredients from one slab to the next, so they will make your order and the next three orders all on one pizza, then divvy it up accordingly. What happens if you walk in solo? Company policy is to wait 8 minutes. If in that time four orders have not been received, they build the pizza with the orders they did get, bake it, and discard the unordered portion. Keep this in mind if you come in during a slow time period and you're in a hurry. They have 54 varieties (I counted them so you don't have to) broken into four price classes. It's gonna take me a large number of visits to sample them all, but I think I'm up for the challenge. Thankfully, even their highest price class ($8) still represents a good value. Oh, and any restaurant that features Hatch green chiles on the menu rates highly in my opinion. If you're up for a different take on pizza, this place is easily worth a visit. read more

I went for dinner which was wrong time to go to this restaurant as this seems a pretty good option for lunch than dinner This is also a new place by thanksgiving point. The way you order is by as the name says by the "slab" i.e. they basically make slab of pizza and when slabs are combined it becomes a 20" pizza. Now for the pizza slab itself I got I don't remember the exact name but something with potato in it and it was decent but not great. Service was okay as was ambience and hence the 3 stars. Nothing super special except that choice of toppings seemed unique and it was of course on a slab , something we don't normally see in this neck of the woods Good option for lunch and I would recommend this place for lunch but not for dinner. Our first time here and we'll definitely be back! We loved the unusual and creative pizza choices. I had the Chorizo Potato Egg and my husband had the Ramp Local, and both were delicious (but very spicy - that fire dust is not messing around. A Slab is basically 3 pieces of pizza that make up 1/4 of a very large pizza. They are very slow. Because they cook the whole pizza (4 slabs) it takes longer. We live near the Lehi location and have been coming here since they opened. Food: The pizza is great. I love the Thai chicken pizza, but everything tastes good. My kids and my family love the pizza, too. Sometimes the crust isn't cut all the way through and it's hard to separate the slices, but that's a minor concern. Service/Atmosphere: This location has service problems. Have you ever stood at the counter of a business and felt like you were bothering the staff? I feel that way every time I come here. The staff is often away from the front counter and acts annoyed to have to come to take your order. I appreciate that it seems like all the food is cooked to order, but there also seems to be little sense of urgency. Long waits are the norm. I liked Slab so much the first time that I had to check it out a 2nd time to be sure that it wasn't a fluke! I love that in one sitting you can effectively taste four different flavors of pizza. My favorite so far is the Chorizo Potato and Egg. This one definitely has a kick but if you want to lessen it you can ask them to layoff the "fire dust". Thai chicken is a favorite amongst Yelpers and I tend to agree with them. The peanut sauce is baller and the flavor isn't overwhelming like I originally thought it would be. I wasn't super impressed with their traditional type flavors, like pepperoni or sausage. I guess they just seem so plain after sampling the other gourmet slabs. So leave the plain ones for the children. The New York style crust and size of each slice is right up my alley. The price for each slab totally makes sense, especially if you are dining with others. Each slab comes with three slices so order a variety and then its perfect for sharing! This location is fairly new but their kitchen is impressively clean. I wanted to love this place as I've had it once at a party and remember it being awesome. Well I didn't get to try the pizza since the service was atrocious. After spending 22 dollars on 2 "slabs" and a drink to share with my gf, her slab promptly came out...as did the to go order present before us, and shortly after that, the order for the folks behind us.... Where is my pizza? Was it maybe more complex and requires more cooking time? No. It had been given to the "to go" order, and upon realizing, the cashier ran out to grab the mistaken pizza...well at this point the food was out of sight and in someone's car...the cashier came back with AND TRIED TO SERVE IT TO ME!!!!!!! I've been to SLAB in Provo and now I've been to this location a few times and I must say, I like it. It's one of those fast-casual type places where you'll order and they'll give you a number and you can go sit down wherever you'd like. They have televisions going (two, I believe) that will normally have sports on. The wait isn't too long for your pizza, but it's not ultra fast either. It's also not insanely expensive, but it's not cheap either. We really like the Chili Verde and the Chorizo Potato. We don't come here too often because for the price of getting two premium "slabs" you could get like 3-4 whole pizzas elsewhere. read more

When you think about tasty Pizza you probably think Italy. WRONG! Tasty pizza comes from America. Americans love Pizza because they love FREEDOM and in America you have the freedom to put what ever the heck you want on your pizza. Given this has isn't always a good idea. Who thought Veggie pizza needed to be a thing??? Half the fun of ordering a pizza is you can deck it out just the way you would like. SLABpizza takes it a step further and makes it really easy to create your own pizza to share among a small group. The idea is you order a 20″ pie and then pick the topping in fourths. so ideally 4 people can split a pie and get exactly what each want. In this case this pizza was split by two people but the concept is the same. They bring the pizza out to you already split into fourths on a sheet of paper. It was very good and did not disappoint. The crust was thin and almost had an artisan taste and style to it. The toppings were perfect in quantity and in taste. I ate my half in one sitting.....AND I REGRET NOTHING! the last quarter of pizza we took home. when we asked for a box they gave us a miniature space blanket to wrap the leftovers in. The next day I removed the baby space blanket and tested the REHEATABILITY!!! The verdict is this pizza reheats surprisingly well and was better reheated then some pizzas are fresh. Not bad at all. Love this place! Pizza never disappoints but I usually get the same thing. ROSEMARY POTATO BACON. Yes it has potato slices on it. I love it since it's rare to get anything like it anywhere else near by! I've been to the Provo location and like this one much better. The only downside I've had with this place is that they charge you for your box if it's TO GO. I've had regular pepperoni slab here and it was a little too greasy, but if you've seen the menu, you should probably try something out of the ordinary. They have pizzas with eggs and chorizo and potatoes and other unique toppings in addition to the oldies but goodies like pepperoni and Hawaiian. My husband and I both got bbq chicken with bacon, onions, and pineapple. You get a whole quarter of a large pizza (hence, "slab") for anywhere between $5-$9. One "negative" is that the pizzas are cooked to order, so it can take a long time, especially if it's busy. However, I put "negative" in quotes because I am willing to wait if I know that my pizza will be hot and fresh out of the oven. We have already returned to eat there and I imagine it will become our regular dinner before a movie at thanksgiving point! read more
