We came here 3/15/25. We were greeted and sat at a table. It took about 15 minutes for a server to come over to ask us about drinks. She said she would be back with waters for all 4 of us and our drinks. 10 more minutes passed and she only brought one water. Meanwhile, the table next to us continued to get refills, their food and other items the table requested. We were also only given 2 menus for our party of 4, so we had to share. 10 more minutes passed, we never got our drinks and we ended up leaving. Maximum seating capacity is probably 50 people, excluding the several high back chairs and tables for outdoor dining. Our group came here for lunch after the Jelly Belly factory tour. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. Because our lunch was pre-ordered, the menu selection was either fish and chips or cole slaw, double bacon cheeseburger and fries or cole slaw. My two pieces of batter fried fish were on point - golden fried, crunchy exterior, moist and fresh (no overly fishy taste) and delicious with tartar sauce. I did not ask for any Louisiana hot sauce. The cole slaw, generous in portion, was okay. I had better elsewhere, as in KFC's version. My fellow diner to the left of me enjoyed his burger and fries. That burger was stacked high and looked absolutely scrumptious. He cut the burger in half and said it was juicy, moist and quite delish. The fries were greaseless, crispy on the outside and the inside texture was also on point. Overall rating is 3.5 stars rounded up to a 4 star rating. We ordered 3 cheese burgers, 2 of them California. ALL burgers were very soggy and the fries were soggy, minimal, and just barely warm. I asked for a rare burger and it was well done, very dry, no seasoning, lettuce was soggy, onions were old, and there was no mayo. C'mon someone obviously doesn't know how to cook burgers and the way it was slapped together, they don't love cooking either. For 15$ a piece, show a lil' pride in your business! My son lives in Fairfield. I drove up from southern Arizona to visit him. He likes his craft beers like I do, and I suggested this place as it's in town. Most of the beers are California-brewed beers, but there are a few from out-of-state. We walked in at 6pm on a Wednesday. The place was packed and the only seating was at the bar. It was too cold for patio dining that day. There were three of us and we each had a burger. My son had two beers, I had one, and my D-I-L had ice tea. The beer list was heavy with IPAs. The one Hefeweizen on the menu ran out while I was there. Food came out fast and all three of us were shocked at the size of the burgers. That $14 for my Patty Melt was thus justified, as I got two meals out of it. My son had the BBQ burger and my D-I-L had the California burger (all served with fries) and we left feeling full. Everyone agreed that the burgers were delicious. The dining area is small (and loud!) for as busy as this place gets, and I had to park in the Del Taco parking lot. While this place is right off the interstate, getting in and out of the parking lot can be tricky. Beers are $6-$8 a pint, so be careful what you order. My bill was over $75 for three people. It was like beer candy in my mouth. Definitely a spot you should check out. I never had a patty melt but it was good!! it came with beer batter fries that were so good too. We had pretzels and cheese beer first, which were so yum and we dipped our beer fries in the cheese beer, even more yum!! My friend had a spicy pina n a Bloody Mary she's seen a pic here on Yelp that had bacon with it but hers didn't come with it and I told her that it might have been a special. During the day they open up the walls to the outside so it felt like being inside outside but at night they bring them down when it gets cold. My husband and I stopped there today. We've been coming to this restaurant for a few years. In the past it was really good but the last few times we stopped the food was not as good. I had fried chicken sandwich that came with spicy cold slaw. They put it on the chicken sandwich. I told my server no spicy and just give me regular cold slaw on the side. Ok, I love coming to this place. I think the owners are great and the lunch staff is always friendly. I frequent lunch time and usually end up hanging out for a couple hours cause I dig the vibe. Usually the food is great. Kind of typical bar food- but they recently updated their menu. I would otherwise totally recommend it for a casual dining experience with tons of local beers on tap. BUT my recent experience was well below par with little to no acknowledgement or remedy on the customer service end. My colleague and I both ordered the Kobe beef burger. I added bacon. We asked they be cooked medium rare. These Pattie's came out charred well-well done. Zero pink, or juice for that matter. We purposefully ordered the Kobe for a juicer burger experience and ended up with over priced hockey pucks. He muscled through his. But aside from not having my bacon add on I simply could not eat mine. It was so hard dry and charred it was like eating a piece of charcoal. So of course I "had to be that gal" and ask it be sent back. In my experience as a former server you always want to be apologetic and accommodating. The waitress never acknowledged how horribly overcooked my food was. Then our overall service experience declined from there. She never asked if we wanted more drinks, never refilled our waters and never checked back with my friend to see how his food was. When my second burger came out- much to my dismay- it was AGAIN over cooked. Medium well at best. The waitress still never acknowledged the kitchens error never apologized or offered anything. Not saying I was expecting anything but a simple "I'm so sorry about that" would have been nice. (Typically if the manager is there they always come to check In whenever food is sent back.)And again- she never checked back with me. So- while I haven't had issues like this with other servers or the food this experience has really tainted my opinion. I hope the management can address the kitchens inability to cook burgers to order- and maybe just cook them all the same instead of asking. Stopped in this cute little restaurant/bar for a fast sandwich to go when visiting Fairfield. Their BLT is amazing!! What striked me the most was the friendliness of the staff and customers alike. It is rare to come to a place and be instantly greeted warmly, but within two minutes of arriving I was greeted by a very friendly customer who said she was a regular here. She let me know that this is the Place To Be in Fairfield and all people are welcome. Congruent with what she said, the milieu of the restaurant/bar was busy with people from all ages young to old. There was a good vibe and a place that I would love to hang out in longer next time. The place is kind of hidden surrounded by tons of fast food joints. So don't let that stop you from stopping here. We started our evening with a round of tasty beverages. The blood orange cider by Two Rivers was really tart and refreshing for a cider. That beautiful color of the cider is very pleasant as well. Now you've got to try the fried pickles! Seriously these were so tasty with their dipping sauce that is addictive! Their appetizers are pretty spot on from deep fried pickles to chicken wings. You'll find something up your alley easily. Now we all got burgers and they all were delicious. The only thing that bummed me out was that in their menu they listed havarti in the grilled cheese, so I asked for havarti on my burger. I am not a big beer person but I did really enjoy the Berryessa House IPA beer, i didn't get that strong after taste. I didn't care for the B.L.A.T because the bacon tasted like it has been sitting for a long time, it had a really stale taste, it was difficult to eat. We remembered some friends of ours talking about this place and how much they liked it. I ordered a flight of beers, and that is $15 for 5 beers, not a bad price and they were generous pours. I really like the Kolsch and the Hefeweizen a lot. My husband ordered the Heretic Goo first which he liked, but admitted it was quite rich after a while (the ABV is high also), he then got the Raspberry lemonade blonde ale, which he said he loved because it was really refreshing. For food I ordered the Cuban sandwich and that was super delicious! I really like the flavor of the meat inside and really liked how crisp the beer battered fries were. He ordered the Thai burger and he said that was really good as well. We shared Irish nachos, served with chips, beer cheese, bacon, sour cream, green onions, it was highly addicting. We found this place on the way home from Pt Reyes. What a gem! They sat us down right away, had the Captain Morgan girls offer us shots of the white rum, and offered free coozies. We were all torn by the beers they offered and the food. They give free tasting samples.. always a win for the indecisive person. A friend ordered a guava cider, and the other friend had a stout.. maybe a porter that was hazelnut, chocolate, and both were delicious. We all agreed that the peanut butter chocolate stout was good! Once we seated ourselves, the 2 waitresses passed our table multiple times to check on the tables around us without even acknowledging us or bringing a menu/water.
