We had a lovely visit at Slanted Window tasting station over the summer. The owner and bartender were so friendly and helpful, shared the history of the winery, let us try several of the wines. We bought a couple bottles to take back home, love to visit the winery property next time!

I love coming here! It's off the beaten path so you don't have the downtown noise. It is a refurbished old gas station! No matter your preference on beer, wine or cocktails they have it. You have the choice of wine or bourbon flights so you try a variety! The wine is locally grown and made in NC. There is a delectable menu to choose from if you are hungry. The garage doors roll up for indoor/outdoor seating.

Absolutely a must on your list. Not only is this establishment clean, attractive but great service & food is awesome. The owner Runzo is bartender & waiter and his wife is the chef. Don't miss out on the tomato soup, sooo good. My husband had a flight of wine, Rueben & tomato soup no complaints he ate it all. I indulged in the mozzarella & tomato sandwich with the watermelon salad with tomato soup. Perfect

Although we live in the area, this was our first visit to Slanted Window. Parking was easy and convenient. We entered on a Sunday afternoon, and quickly noticed that we could seat ourselves. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. A mix of soft rock played in the background; it was at just the right volume. We ordered a flatbread and a salad, and shared both. We ate every single bite of both. We are already planning to return.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! We have been here several times and not only is the service always amazing, but the food is delicious! We've had many different types of their flat bread, and every one is a 10/10. Even the vegan flatbread exceeded our expectations. The beet salad is one of the best I've ever had as well. They have live entertainment often as well. We love the esthetic too, with the garage doors that open, the picnic tables and the original looking bar.

Wanted to try someplace new in Franklin and landed on Slanted Window based upon their excellent reviews. Wow... We were really impressed. Old converted gas station with a small but lovely space indoors and an outdoor patio that accepts dogs. They even have a special menu item just for your dog! We were warmly greeted and able to sit wherever we wanted. Service was fast and charming, and everything was unbelievably delicious. We started with the smoked trout dip, which was fresh and perfectly flavored. My husband ordered the bourbon tasting flight and was very excited to try some local bourbons he wouldn't otherwise have had the opportunity to taste. He even wound up buying a new local bottle. We split the beet salad with added chicken and it was perfect. All the ingredients were super fresh, loads of beets and goat cheese, and these most delicious almonds. It was a large enough serving for us to share and we both really enjoyed it. My son ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was also amazing. It was served with chips and it was a massive serving, he couldn't even finish it all. Prices were reasonable based upon the quality and quantity of food you received, and it was so clean and quaint. Highly recommend this spot!

Very cool place!! Great bartender and lots of locally made wines and spirits. One of the best old fashioned I've had in a long time! It helps when the bartender makes tweaks to recipes because he things adding a hint of a mother flavor will help the overall taste!!! LOVE THIS PLACE!! Will be back from Spartanburg! Try the key lime pie!

I recently stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered a wine flight, charcuterie board, and tomato soup. The patio is dog friendly and the staff is wonderful. They have a large menu with something for everyone.

Great people and adorable store front. Unfortunately both bottles of wine I wanted were not available due to no inventory.

The flowers, the trees, the grapevines, the cottages and houses add to the ambience. Our bride described it as her "Hallmark" movie in real life. Guests and family enjoyed onsite accommodations making time for everyone to be together for the occasion. The onsite cottages and houses were in large part the reason that this venue was chosen. The entire wedding party and families were able to stay together and enjoy the weekend. Guests enjoyed dining at Barrel & Vine, the onsite restaurant and bar. It made it easy for everyone to enjoy the evening. The night before reception was quaint and beautifully staged to welcome everyone. The food from the restaurant and reception was outstanding. From the stuffed pepper appetizer and ham and biscuit to the pasta and chicken dish was delicious. All of the food was fresh and plentiful. The staff managed the crowd well and were professional clearing used plates and utensils off guest tables and replenishing tables. The Vineyard at High Holly reserved the property for the wedding weekend without other guests being on the property. I would recommend this venue for a small wedding that you would like to remain quaint and allow for the bride and groom to be present with their guests.
