Since 2003, we have had our main bedroom bed, a Sleep Number, which I believe lost air long ago. Over the years, I kept thinking it was time for a replacement, so I decided to explore my options and compare brands to find the best value. Our first stop was, of course, Sleep Number. We met our salesperson, Timothy, who was excellent at presenting different models and explaining their features. He took the time to understand our needs and recommended the best options for us. Honestly, that was my first and only stop--Timothy's presentation made it easy to decide, and I did not feel the need to visit other stores. The delivery process was smooth, and the new bed seemed fantastic. I am happy to finally replace our old, worn-out mattress--it was seriously shot. Sleep Number's adjustable air chambers offer personalized comfort, and the Flex Fit comfort positions we added are a great bonus. The store location was convenient, and the environment was extremely comfortable. Even more comfortable laying on all those beds. We did eventually leave. It was hard though, we were quite comfortable on their beds. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we are delighted with our new Sleep Number bed. Its my guess it was the best choice and price for us, but what do I know, I went nowhere else. read more

Helped me out when I needed a new mattress, great selection in store and great service.

I was desperately in need of a bed. I saw an ad for sleep number so I figured why not give it a try and see what they are about. When I went to sleep number, I was greeted politely by Tim. Tim did a great job of explaining to me the different types of beds, while also answering every question that I had. Tim was not pushy, and respected all of my thoughts and ideas. We worked together for about 2 weeks before I bought my bed from him. The processes was painless and Tim took care of everything. Fast forward 3 months later, I absolutely LOVE my bed. It was the best purchase I ever made. My back pain is gone, and I have been sleeping through the night ever since. read more

As a repeat customer, my rating is based on the horrible experience I had purchasing and returning a P5 number sleep bed. In the past, I loved my sleep number bed. The quality is not the same. POF stands for piping on floor. The power box and piping is no longer constructed into the box spring. It is literally on the floor. In my case, the piping was protruding outside both sides of the bed, which is not safe. Be careful if you have dogs or children. I was back at the store 2 days after delivery to set up a return. To return the bed is quite an ordeal and you will lose $250 X 2, plus tax= $543.76. If I had a tech. person come to fix the piping and kept the bed longer, it would not change the loss of the $543.76 if I chose to return at a later date. The only positive experience I had was with the Mary Jane (sales). This review is no reflection of her. It was out of her control with the loss of money for the return and she truly cared. The customer service number 800-472-7185 was given to me twice by the manager. I did not have a good interaction with him at the end. Do your homework before purchasing a Sleep Number bed. read more

We are sleep number bed owners. We went into this store looking for a pillow. The store manager Tim took care of us. He was amazing. Informative, listened to our needs, and was so personable. Took the time to understand what our sleep challenges have been and was able to provide solutions to improve our sleep. He has patience, cared about our needs, and went above and beyond to service them. This store is under new management in the past year, so not sure what prior reviews to this one are referring to, but definitely a wonderful experience for my husband and I at this store. read more

I brought an item purchased online to this, my local store, and was met with hostility when I told the gentleman that I was here to make a return. He said he can give me a label to mail it in and that he would do this one time but not again. This was after I called customer service earlier today and they said it is easy and free to return in store but I would have to pay for return shipping to ship it back. I asked if it negatively affected his commission, and he said no. Why have a sales person on staff who is so nasty to customers? I was nothing but pleasant. I have rarely come across such a nasty salesperson, and you can be assured I will never purchase from Sleep Number again. read more

I have been recently a sleep number fan for their sheets and bedding. I had an experience with the store manager, Mark Milman. He was absolutely the most outstanding Customer Service person in any store I have been to lately. He went above and beyond to help me. He was professional & so knowledgeable, which is so hard to find these days. He displayed amazing customer service. Marc was able to answer any question I had with honesty & integrity. Salesman was . The worst customer service I've ever seen in any business. I literally waited over 30 minutes on hold after I had been speaking to a customer service rep when she was trying to find out about my delivery time.I've spent $15,000 and when I couldn't keep a delivery appointment given to me the day before with a four hour window, they told me I couldn't get my merchandise for over a month. Buyer beware, as I found out today the base is nonreturnable so when they deliver this complete piece of crap to your house and you spend the next 63 days trying to figure out how to make it work in your life,You will make arrangements as I did to return it ,I promise you , you will return it. Please read the fine print on this completely shady contract, I unfortunately spent more time trying to get around the delivery charges and delivery days and didn't realize that there was a separate return policy for the 2 pieces. In a nut shell,The unit is poorly constructed, it's not made to last and simply getting in and out of the bed you become very aware of your buyers remorse, save yourself the aggravating process and don't even THINK ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. PSA: I just woke again w sooooo much pain in my neck and lower back! I ordered a new bed and Thankfully it comes tomorrow. Its a : kings Down Select Pillow Top. ..(heaven on Earth!!) Tonight we dismantle the POS sleep number and will put it in the living room.[some how]..They now moved the pick up date from 10/8 to 9/22...b c i complained...when u buy it they want it delivered in a few days..when they're picking it up they want you to suffer for another month..smh! There was no way I could last That long on this one..im literally in tears every morning and a thru the night.&.i just went to my dr for a new PT script its craZy!..something so expensive that suX sooooooo bad!! And im forced to eat just under a Thousand Bucks for them to Return it... And That was AFTER arguing with 2 customer service reps ..then finally...supposedly dealing with the CEO assistant Several times. The entire return phone process has been going on for Weeks... Sleep Number is a scam and ripoff! In December 2021 I accompanied my spouse to shop for a new mattress, our daughter had been saying that sleep number is "supposedly" great, we purchased a $12,000.00 mattress paying in full right then and being scheduled for delivery in a month, date for delivery arrives with confirmatory emails and texts and a 4 hour window, I sat and waited 6 hours (an hour before until an hour after window) and received NOTHING, no calls, no texts, no answer to phone calls (there'll be an hour wait to be answered or leave your # for a return call in 3 hours). I finally went to the store and salesperson 5 days later who said "oh, I had no idea that there was a problem" and said she would speak to the district manager and we then received an email that it would be delivered in another month! I am now waiting for them to open and I will return to the store to demand a full refund! These people are scammers with no customer service at all, don't be scammed stay away from sleep number! I bought a sleep number 360 bed, very expensive. The bed has a serious design flaw. The mattress constantly slips of the mechanical bed frame. Every morning my wife and I have to put the mattress back in it's place, extremely annoying!!! I called several times but they can't fix it and now they are ignoring me!! read more

I came here after reading positive reviews in Consumer Reports, and had no idea what a Sleep Number bed really meant. After walking in on a busy Saturday, a sales rep (Mark?) carefully walked my partner and I through the whole concept of their products, and showed us their range of products. We stretched on one of the mattresses for nearly 20 minutes, and Mark left us alone to contemplate. We left to think over the decision, and he was completely professional about respecting our choice. When we returned a week later, he remembered our preferences exactly - even which pillows we used! It's been a few weeks, and I'm very pleased with the mattress I purchased. Delivery is very expensive ($175, no negotiation) and not immediate, but they set up the bed and take away your previous mattress and box spring. So far, I'm really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this store. read more

Poor customer service. We bought a premium queen set. Were promised delivery between 10 and 2 on a specific day. Received several e-mails confirming the delivery date and time. The e-mail also said the driver would call when he was on the way to our home. 2PM came and went with no delivery. Gave up waiting & started working on other projects that could not be interrupted. Sometime after 3PM they showed up. Had to stop what I was doing and work with them for the delivery, could take "up to 2 hours." Asked the driver what happened, "When I saw my route this morning I knew I would be late, they started us in the city." Why didn't you call like the e-mails said, "We didn't have time." I could have gotten so much accomplished if they had warned me they would be late. When the delivery was complete I noticed there was only one remote. When I asked the driver he told me that was all there should be. In the store every display had two remotes. The salesperson had specifically told us that the remotes were not included on the lower price units but would be included if we bought the premium set. I call the sales person. When I told her about the late delivery her response was "That happens." Asked about the lack of a call and she told me the driver should have called but he works for the warehouse so she has no control. When I asked about the controls she said it only included one. When I told her the model she showed us had two and she implied that they were included she told me I must have misunderstood her. I pointed out again that there were two on the display and she told me that that is sometimes confusing. I think it is a little deceptive. We have not had the mattress long enough to evaluate it but so far customer service has been terrible. I would have expected this type treatment if I had bought a knock-off mattress from a discount outlet, not when paying premium for the name brand product. read more

Terrible, customer service.. Nothing but scammer salesmanship ... Bought a sleep number mattress, and was told and repeated several times, that you have 100 days to try out mattress for customer satisfaction with refund but the only thing is that you will not refund the delivery charge. Salesman repeatedly said only the delivery charge will not be refund and free pick up if you decide not to keep mattress. Was not happy with sleep number mattress and of course they try to persuade you to keep product, but now all that said and done, they will charge an additional $180 to pick up mattress on top of the original delivery charge...So for a mattress that I do not keep I was scammed a pick up fee and out almost $400 yet still with no mattress. Scams and more scams, terrible customer service, hasn't been a month yet the salesman who sold mattress is no longer with company.. Great!!!! Nothing but shit out of luck here.. the customer is never right.. The retailer is always right! Suggest to not buy a sleep number bed. Where is the professionalism and customer satisfaction, it's so easy to take peoples money.. Yet so hard to keep customer happy. Guess if they have dozens of ppl who do not like sleep number, they make their profits by charging delivery and pick up fees! read more
