Prices are fair, and the kitchen section is honestly where I spend my time. Cookware, organization tools, knives, those little strainers for your sink drain ... every imaginable kitchen tool or resource is here. I don't shop the other sections so I can't speak to those except to reiterate: there's always a little "beyond" that you didn't know you needed until you see it. This location is kept clean and well organized, although the clearance section up front always seems a bit ramshackle to me. I've never had anything but positive interactions with employees. They always seem to greet, thank and generally ask if they can help without pestering. Checkout lines on weekends can move slowly. If you're in a rush, this is not the store for you. All in all, a reasonable experience.

But what's funny is as dead as it was everyone who did enter the store all went to checkout out the same time and with only one staff member ringing the wait was a bit long. I used to love coming here and they're still good for certain things but honestly their modernized look just led to cheaper products and less of them. Be sure you bring your coupons to make shopping worthwhile so you can feel like you're scoring some kind of deal.

To be honest, it looks like a knock-off version of Home Goods. They carry very similar items. If you see something you like, you better get it than because their stock changes all the time. They carry nice lamps, chairs, pictures, things for the kitchen, flowers etc. The prices are pretty reasonable, too. If you are looking to shop on a budget, Home Sense is a great place to shop.

Even though I purchased that shade from another (online) vendor, they were happy to provide me with the service I needed. Their service was excellent! I recently had an issue where I thought the motor was not working properly even after I change the batteries and did all of the troubleshooting requirements on my own. When I called BSS, Ann in Customer service helped me go through the troubleshooting checklist before telling me to bring the shade back so that they could fix whatever the problem may be. The only thing I did not do in my initial troubleshooting was use lithium batteries in the wand. I always used non-lithium batteries, which worked fine. So in the last effort, I purchase some lithium batteries and sure enough that did the job! I truly appreciated the time and patience that Ann took with me to help me fix this problem on my own. I will continue to use BSS over and over again for future purchases.

The main draw here is the fabric selection, as they have quite a bit to offer. But all crafts are well represented in my opinion. One of my favorite aspects of this store is the button selection. It is fabulous and I always spend way more than necessary on fun blingy buttons. They also have a nice selection of ready made seasonal decorations. The staff is always very lovely and helpful here.
