I'm sorry for this one star but I had a one star experience. I went today for a new gas cap and a…read moreyoung man helped me. I don't know his name but I know he drives an "old jeep" his words not mine...anyways, he attempted to help me put on the gas cap as I don't know how and really know nothing of cars. As he did this he broke the door to my gas tank and now it won't shut as it is intended to. After this happened he "attempted" to fix it but ultimately told me to go elsewhere and pay for his mistakes, he then followed by telling me to "just put tape on it" which I found really inconsiderate considering he was the one that broke it. I really find it crazy how he now expects me to pay for his mistakes. I plan to return to see if there's anything else any of the other employees can do as I really haven't had bad experiences with the other employees, but I do think advance auto parts should hire people that know what they're doing instead of causing more problems for a customer.

Both times I've taken our cars here they have fixed the problem, given clear communication about what work they will be doing and how much it is going to cost, and they have had the car ready when they said it would be done both times. It's hard to find an honest auto mechanic sometimes, but the guys at A1 Auto are good ones.

I sat in the car and watched as people were allowed to go into the store without a mask, and then also came out of the store without masks on... My husband said that a lady who was working there helping someone did not have a mask on. The gentleman who was helping my husband did have a mask on. We are very disappointed as they are not keeping their patrons safe... People up here in Benzie County blame people from "down state" for giving them Covid 19, when they themselves are not taking personal and business corporate responsibility to keep people safe. We will not be shopping at Napa in Beulah Michigan.
