I have been a loyal customer to Blaine's since they opened here in town. I have always had various…read moreanimals, and prefer to go to Blaine's for their supplies. However, over the past year, I have not been very impressed. I have worked in retail and customer service for long time, and I do understand high demand items and backorders. I have tried to order some items as simple as dog treats through the drive thru several times, and it they're ALWAYS out of stock. It will say in stock, I will order them, and I get a message telling me that they're "Out of stock." I have seen "Out of stock" then I go into the store and get them off of the shelf myself, pay for them and leave. Today, it says "In stock, only 9 left." So, I hurry up and put an online order in to wait in the drive thru for 20 minutes and have the employee tell me that they are buried and there's no forklift driver. This is the 4th time in a row I have had issues like this. I get the best value for the product at Blaine's, but the availability and service is beyond inexcusable. Please get your act together. I plan to go elsewhere from now on. This is the reason people do their shopping online.

Specifically, Christy = = = whom I worked with throughout the process starting with the first call to them which was done out of the blue. Her style was and is, simply described, as a passionate, professional, servant leader. She was warm and welcoming on the phone and in person, but even better, when needed, she was precise, concise, and condensed in the information transfer. That put me at ease. She knew and knows her product and is happy to share and minimize the results gap that can occur in a less professional setting. MB-TC is on their game! The multi-point M-B inspection was beyond my wildest dreams = = = professional and thorough beyond belief even for an engineer and gear-head like me. The background team, that supported the sale, which is critical for the totality of the purchasing experience, demonstrated amazing attention to detail, which in turn provided me a clean and crisp 2022 that looked and drove like a charm. OBTW, the coffee was super and the floor plan was professional. When I sat in the GLS and turned it on, I felt like Hans Solo in the Millennium Falcon. I live 4 hours away and I had the unique opportunity to "test drive" on I-75 and on US 2. Cruising at 85 was effortless on I-75 (in-line 6 with a turbo), the stereo/radio was just plain "wow" in all aspects. Passing cars on US 2 (a 2 lane highway) was a snap with "martha" (the name of the car from the previous owner) easily hitting 100mph a couple of times (65mph to 100 in under 4 seconds) (I felt the need - - the need for speed). The torque was really special. The steering was tight (which I like) but not stiff nor mushy. the cabin environmental controls were great (very intuitive) along with the cruise control. The heads up display was the "bomb". The drivers seat was comfortable beyond compare (amazing ergonomics) (I considered trying out the passenger seat while driving but thought better of it, lol). The cell phone paired up effortlessly. The overall ride was just plain "top drawer". Excellent visibility. Especially found valuable the blind spot safety features of the mirrors. The folding seats were so "german" in design and function (lol) in a good way. I love the folding seats as I transport golf clubs and assorted luggage nominally monthly. Sort of goes along with my pole vaulting poles which with the luggage rails I can now transport effortlessly (yeah, I pole vault for fun at age 73). Mileage back to home was nominally 28mph via filling the tank so as to be precise. The 9 speed tranny is really nice and shifts smooth as silk. The ride is nice and high but with the air suspension you can change that easily. To top off the order, when I got home, I ordered a set of 20" wheels and a set of snow/ice tires (I live where you nominally get 250+ inches of snow). Due to the snow, ice, and salt I immediately purchased fancy floor liners. That is how sure I am of my investment. Christy also filled me in on the service after the sale with MB-TC - - - its all about relationships and Christy has it dialed in. Cheers.
