Absolutely never disappoints, and I always stop here when I am in LoDo. Terrific location, short walk from Coors, Tattered Cover, Union Station. So many pizza choices, unique options, and they seemingly all taste good! I LOVE the Sicilian and Bacon Cheeseburger, but many others too! I have been a regular at Sliceworks LoDo for several years. When I went through a period of working 50-60 hrs weeks, I sometimes ate there twice a day. Their pizza is delicious and the pastas are great. I especially like the penne ala vodka sauce and the eggplant Parmesan. Both are large enough for 2-3 meals. Oh, their dinner rolls. Try the fresh dinner rolls. I still stop in when I've had a difficult day for a glass of wine -- the house red is good -- a salad, dinner roll and a big plate of pasta. It's delicious and a bargain! And they have dessert. Most they make in house and they are also delicious. My complaint here is that they don't have coffee. Rich chocolate cake requires good strong coffee. AVOID! On 4/23/2021 I saw the cook pull his mask down to blow into the pizza before throwing in the oven. About 5 mins later his mask was completely off breathing on all of the other pizzas while also touching the unbaked pizza with no gloves. I left immediately, this place is a super spreader. I stopped in to grab a quick slice for my toddler and I couldn't help but order two more slices...Allá Vodka (made with vodka sauce) and the buffalo chicken. They were filling but not heavy. Yum! So nice I ate there twice, and that's saying something since my last trip to Denver was a whirlwind 48 hours of meetings with little to no free time. Just like the name implies, you can order a variety of pizzas by the slice here for a downright cheap price. And the slices are quite large - the size of 2-3 "normal" slices of pizza. The flavors are a nice blend of the classics and a few Rocky Mountain classics (pizza topped with sliced potatoes for example). The white pizza was particularly delicious, with sweet ricotta, tons of garlic, and a nice, thin chewy crust. The service was friendly, the yelp check in offer for free garlic knots a nice bonus, and the late night hours were also appreciated when getting into town after a late night flight. read more

Updated 10/11 It's really getting to be a chore to order delivery. Almost every time I call, the phone keeps cutting out or the person can't hear you. There is so much background noise that it's hard to hear whet they are saying. In addition they have a terrible order system that delays the process and I have had to give my order and payment info more than once in several occasions. Here's a tip - invest in some quality technology and you will improve service. It's not rocket science. I order from Slice works regularly. Very consistent quality and reasonable prices. The crust is thin and chewy, toppings are good, and sauce is just the right amount of sweetness. The salads are pretty large and fresh too. I go in for a slice from time to times d honestly the delivery is much better, maybe because the pizza is sitting out, but the crust seems super thin and not much cheese last time I had a slice. read more

Came in here on a Sunday morning after a looong weekend of beer tasting. The guys behind the counter were extremely friendly and the pizza displays were on point. There were probably about 15 varieties to chose from. I got the Buffalo Chicken which was incredible. My buddies got the Pepperoni and also the Sicilian style. Those also looked amazing. 3 cool guys did an awesome job running the place at 12:30 ish late night, kept the line moving and there was a long line (had to wait 10 mins to place an order). Hot NY style thin crust pizza, self serve, quick and friendly service at the counter, very affordable prices($3 a slice of cheese pizza), open till 2:30AM on Fridays and Saturdays. This was my first time here and I will be coming back whenever I visit 16th street mall. It is on 17th st close to 16th st mall, happening spot, open late hours. REALLY, really, good pizza. Lots of variety too, including regular, and stuff pizza. Came across this gem around 11:00pm on a Saturday night. Hungry in search of a late dinner, this was like finding gold. Huge slices of pizza, fresh ingredients, perfect crust. We were pleasantly surprised there was also a bar. I stopped here because I had a craving for pizza, and this was a nearby restaurant with good reviews. I had a slice of sicilian, and a slice of tomato pesto. The presentation of the pizzas is very nice: as you walk in, you can see the display of pies, all clearly labeled. All the pizzas on display (remember the model is "by the slice") looked good and fresh, and the display itself was bright and clean. The guys at the counter were friendly and willing to explain. A suggestion here would be to add the main ingredients to the pizza labels (eg. "vegetables, bacon, peperoni"), if it's not obvious from the name. I mean, "tomato pesto" is pretty obvious. "Grandma's" is not. Apparently they have a very endearing practice, which is they give a mini-slice of cheese pizza (about of a regular slice) to every customer as they wait for their order. I really liked that. I didn't stay to eat at the place, but it looked nice and clear. My slices were very good. Not the "best" pizza I've ever had, but certainly quite tasty. The Sicilian slice was perhaps a bit crunchier and drier that it should have been (too much oven), but it was still edible and tasty. The tomato pesto was a thin slice, with sufficient pesto and tomato to make it worth the name. The doug is good and flavorful, and the sauce is about standard. They use "Grande" cheese, which is the standard for good pizza. The slices were fairly priced for the size, and I was satisfied with my two slices. Pretty good pizza in Colorado. We had been spending money left and right, and decided to just get a pizza and enjoy it in the hotel room one of our nights there. Didn't really wind up being a huge price deal, though. It was $23 for a pizza and some garlic knots, not great but not horrible. As we were waiting, I saw this awesome sounding beer and decided to go for it. $6 for a cup of beer? I mean, I get that they aren't a bar - but $6? The pizza was good, we wound up only eating a few slices and then eating cold pizza for breakfast/lunch the next morning. When I got up to the counter, one of the guys handed me a "snack". It was a super thin slice of cheese pizza. He handed one to everybody in line. There was a huge case of different kinds of pizza that you could purchase by the slice. Some of the kinds sounded pretty adventurous. They also sold other Italian items such as pastas and strombolis. I ordered: 1. 2 slices of cheese pizza ($5.50 for 2 slices) 2. 1 order of the meatballs ($4 for 2 gigantic meatballs) 3. 6 garlic knots (free with a check in on Yelp!) 4. Fountain soda ($2) Everything tasted good. The slices are made in the NY style thin crust (my fav). The guys at the counter were really nice, patient and efficient. The food came out after only a few minutes. The meatballs were gigantic and tasted pretty good. No complaints here. I only had enough stomach room for 1 garlic knot (I took them back to my hotel) and it was pretty good. This was super cheap eats. My total was $12.42, and you could have easily fed 2 people with my order. I was really full after just 1 slice of pizza. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to people who want good tasting pizza at a reasonable price. Stopped by for a snack and decided on the stuffed veggie pizza. It tasted super fresh and had great flavor. I especially appreciated the eggplant in the pizza. The garlicky flavor in the pizza was nice, and the crust had a good crisp. I liked that it came with a little tub of their rest sauce which was good. Amazing New York style pizza in downtown Denver. We absolutely loved the pizza and salad! The atmosphere is very urban, I loved it! The service is outstanding. They greeted us when we walk in and offered us a small piece of cheese pizza while we were waiting for our food. It was a difficult decision on what kind of pizza I wanted but I finally chose the Tomato Pesto and loved every bite. I also had a house salad with a vinaigrette dressing. It tasted very Greek, which I love. My daughter picked the Three cheese, delicious! They offer a few different wines and beer as well. Our overall experience was wonderful. We will be back very soon to take the rest of our family. It would be an excellent place to take out of town guests too. It gives a fun downtown feel while enjoying wonderful pizza. read more

I didn't get to try the pepperoni but my bf and his friend seemed to enjoy it. The chicken veggie slice was delicious and had a good variety of veggies in it like broccoli, scallions, garlic etc. Their four season salad (I added chicken) was a huge portion and was pretty worth it for me; the goat cheese, pears and candied walnuts were a great combo. It was 2 am and as my friends and I were walking to the train, Sliceworks emerged out of the dark like a shining beacon of light. Maybe because it was 2 am and you can't beat late night slices, or maybe because the slice was only $3 and was bigger than my face, but this was the best pizza I've had in a while. The New York thin style made the crust to topping ratio perfect and it was greasy but not Dominos greasy. Whoever the genius was that decided to strategically place a pizza shop between the bars and the train deserves a gold star. Perfect through and through. Was offered a free pizza sample upon walking in! And it only got better after that! We ordered three huge slices , roughly $4 a slice, and a soft drink. Dinner for two $15. They cut all our slices in two pieces, and upon bringing our pizza out, one half slice fell on the ground. The staff apologized and came back with an additional full slice cut in two again, so basically we got a half slice for free ( on top of our free samples). That is how business should be done, A+ for Service and experience! The pizza was New York style, prebaked and reheated, so it was severed hot. We got BBQ chicken, which had a perfect mix of ingredients, and we got vodka sauce pizza, which was fantastic, and a tomato pesto pizza which was rustic and quite flavorful.
