We've been here twice now and I can honestly say this is the best water park I've been to. First of all, it is SO CLEAN! No trash, no bugs, nothing -- it's honestly shocking. Secondly, it's massive! There are so many slides here and it's a great place for adults and kids, since they have different levels of thrill. Additionally, the slides are pretty unique! There are several slides with immersive theming that we were very impressed by. They do have your standard slides, but if you are looking for something more unique they have that too! Both times we've come here was on a weekend and we've never had a problem finding chairs or waiting in lines for food. This past time we went we got the tube valet and it was 100% worth it. If you are on the fence about it, I would highly recommend it. It's way less wait times and you don't have to carry your tube up the big hills. Additionally, as someone who is very sensitive to heat, this was a game changer for me. I would not visit Water World again without this purchase! They also let you bring in your own food and drinks in a cooler, which is very rare to find at any kind of theme park these days. In my experience, the food and drink available for purchase was pretty reasonable for a theme park, not overly expensive. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and will absolutely be back.

Because the wrist bands that come with the birthday package can be used at a different time if they arent activated the day of the party. We GoKart'd, Laser Tagged, Hung out in the airel course, played some games inside. Never made it to bowling but you could:) Teenage boys had a full 4 hours of running around and I am sure we will do it again next year. If you ask nice they will even let you have your party time in the room at the end of your stay. This was super helpful as the boys got out their energy and were ready for Pizza and Cake before going home. Also, no upset tummies to keep them from enjoying the outdoor activities.

We ordered the Herb-Roasted Salmon and the Coconut Shrimp. After waiting about 45 minutes, the manager came over to tell us they were out of the coconut shrimp and recommended the Shrimp Platter instead, so we went with that. The salmon tasted overly fishy, and the asparagus was undercooked, although the mashed potatoes were actually really good. As for the Shrimp Platter, the fried shrimp was mostly breading, the bacon-wrapped shrimp was just kind of strange, and the grilled shrimp was the only part we really enjoyed. The fries were good, but the beans and green beans weren't. It also took quite a while to get our check, and dinner ended up costing around $80. Overall, I'd skip the restaurant. The aquarium is worth checking out once, especially if you have young kids, but I probably wouldn't come back for another date night.

It was easy to get an accessible ride pass, although one of our kids was disappointed with the lack of accessible rides in the waterpark. The biggest issue was that all of the food places in the park closed right at dinner time, starting at 5:30pm, with no warning. We ended up running around all over the park before finding the last place open, but they didn't have enough food left to serve our whole group.

Each racer got two 12 lap races, food & drink, one hour reserved seating, arcade tokens & top finishers got medals - plus all racers got to race together with a reserved time. The price was about $80 per racer. We paid separately for additional food for spectators. These go carts are electric, so no smell & pretty quiet. A few things to note, racers need to be at least 48 inches tall & if you have more than twelve racers you then split into two groups. Also, K1 has an Arrive & Drive option for just racing, it's first come first serve. The day we went was for a birthday. After checking in racers registered & signed waivers after which they got balaclavas & helmets. Instructions were given but it was rather hard to hear. Our racers had a blast...they loved it - it was a great experience. Right after racing our lunch was ready, it was served buffet style. We choose Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas, BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Wings & soft drinks. There were no salad or vegan options. The pizza was good, however the wings were even better & delicious. I never thought I was a zoo person, but this completely changed my mind…read more I visited during the zoo's extended summer hours (Fridays and Saturdays until 9 p.m.--despite what Google Maps says!), and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. We practically had the zoo to ourselves! Google still lists the zoo as closing at 4 p.m. every day, and I don't think the zoo advertises these evening hours nearly enough. Going later in the day made the experience so much better. First, it was much cooler and more comfortable. Second, the animals were incredibly active because the heat had died down. And third, many of them were being fed their dinner near the viewing areas, so we got to watch them up close in a way you normally wouldn't. The staff and volunteers were another highlight. Everyone we talked to was friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited to answer questions and share stories about the animals. You can tell they're passionate about both the animals and the zoo's conservation efforts. I also learned how important it is to support AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) accredited zoos. I came away really impressed by everything the Denver Zoo does for conservation, research, and animal care. If anything, I think they should do a better job of bragging about all the incredible work they're doing--it deserves more attention! One of my favorite moments was watching the tiger stroll across the overhead bridge directly above us. The elephants have a similar crossing, although they weren't using it while we were there. The habitats throughout the zoo were beautifully designed and created such an immersive, interactive experience. I can't recommend visiting during the extended summer hours enough. It felt like having a private zoo experience, and I'll absolutely be back!
