Jacob did a great job replacing the rollers on one of our doors. He was extremely courteous and on his own initiative ensured that we truly needed the rollers replaced before starting the actual replacement. I appreciated this because it gave me confidence that he was not completing a repair that was unneeded just so that his company could be paid. He also cleaned everything up perfectly and then provided maintenance instructions and details on the warranty. The only downside of the work is now that my door is riding higher the pin lock is not aligned and will not work, however this is not enough to lower my rating or opinion of the work that Jacob did, and we will easily address this on our own. If you have a pool and need the required closing systems or alarms, look at doing at least part of them yourself. We committed to having them install the self-closing springs on the gates. For that part - excellent job and very fairly priced. For the alarm installed on the doors that exit to the backyard - $130 each for $25 alarm systems and 5 minutes to install. I expected something much higher level than these for the quotation. Shame on me for not getting alarm details or confirming what brand/model was being installed. S187D or S189D Alarm system - less than $25 each. Anyone can install these. The installer was courteous and did a good job. No complaints about the service. Just the ridiculous price for the low cost product. read more

Crazy poor customer service! Pool door alarm went bad after a year and now they want $135 for another one (which is a $20 item) and say they cannot help or have any warranty if the sensors go bad. Gal screaming at me over the phone saying that they don't make the alarm and only get a 30 day warranty from the manufacturer. Crazy considering that for the original install they sent out the office managers son who did not have a clue, sorry to say and needed to send out 2 more folks before the alarm was installed properly. My Arcadia door track was in terrible condition... i tried to hire another company to fix it and they quoted my $3,000 to replace it, saying the track was to bad to repair. As I started to price out new Arcadia doors, I came across Slide Right and figured I would call then for a second opinion.... and I am glad I did! Slide right came out to fix our sliding glass door that was so hard to open. It was like pushing a stack of bricks. Repairman was prompt, which I appreciated! They replaced the rollers and cleaned up the tracks. Now our slider opens so easily! Slide Right was recommended by our pool builder as the best company to install a self-closing device on our sliding glass door. In my experience, they were easy to schedule with and the tech was on time (and he called in advance to confirm). They are using a newer and better quality door latch that I like a lot - it's easier to use than the lever handles. Also, the tech was really nice. He explained how the self-closer works, and he also put new rollers on our door since ours were worn out. I was actually dreading the self-closing device because most people I know don't like theirs, but our door actually opens much easier now than it did before! I love it! I was out of town for a couple of weeks so I needed up scheduling SlideRight to come out to complete the work upon my return. They called the day before to confirm my appointment. Then Justin the same tech who did our estimate called the morning of to confirm his arrival time, which was on time. Justin was friendly, professional and answered all of my questions and got right to completing the job. He proceeded to replace the weather stripping in all 6 of our sliding doors, something many companies do not do anymore, installed security (Charlie) bars on all the doors, replaced the rollers in one of the doors, installed a new screen door on that same door, and swapped out a handle/locking mechanism from a seldom used door to the one we use the most and then replaced another screen on our kitchen window. The work was done exactly to the specifics we wanted and at exactly the price we were quoted. Our 36 year old sliding doors now function as well as possible, are more efficient, don't rattle in the wind or when we open an outside door anymore and this has bought us a few more years to decide on how and when we want to upgrade the doors, which is essentially all of the windows in our home as we have only 3 windows and 6 sliding doors in our whole place. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing sliding door repair. They do installs on sliding doors in showers too FYI.
