When I FINALLY reached Tiffany and told her the door has NOT worked properly since installation and the tech knew it and simply told us where to adjust the tension. I've called multiple times with no response until this morning after my granddaughter's fingers were almost crushed when the door slammed shut last night. Tiffany absolutely REFUSED to tell me the name of the owner or let me speak with a a supervisor. She will pass my information along to Janet. Jim-owner. Shame on you! Your response is incorrect. Your installer knew it was not working properly when he was as at my home and simply told us to adjust the tension on our own. I told him that it should be fixed properly and he said someone from the office would call us. My ex called the office multiple times telling your office we should not have to do this with no resolution. Do not use this company. Damaged the frame on my sliding glass door and the safety latches don't line up so this $1100 dollar system is inoperable and I'm left with a bent door frame that's causing door closing issues. I asked to speak with an owner or supervisor was told the owner will not take phone calls under any circumstances. Lead Manager told me "they bend vinyl door frames all the time and actually just bent another one today" and offered to send me pictures of the other damages door frames like that's supposed to make me feel better. I cannot stress how bad this craftsmanship is and how poorly situation was handled, I will fail inspection due to the damage to my door and the improperly installed safety latches. I phoned and was told by manager that there would be an additional charge to fix frame since I only requested new door wheels. Office is only 2 miles from my house. EXCESSIVE CHARGE. Unfortunately this is a great company as long as nothing has to be warrantied. They do not warranty rentals or vacation homes. They do not tell you that upfront. You have the door installed as is but not an as is price. Staff is condescending and definitely does not know how to recover a phone call when they have misrepresented themselves. Customer service is not interested in helping you understand. We put in 6 units in 1 1/2 years and one door keeps breaking and they accuse the customer and badger. They have no interest in taking care of the customer. She just yelled fine no charge and hung up on me. I'll be taking our business elsewhere since they have no interest in keeping it. read more

They also offered a 10% discount if I paid cash (I always ask) so that was a plus! A young man named Tyler came out to measure and discuss color options. Three weeks later it was delivered by the same tech and looks perfect! Tyler arrived ahead of schedule both times (calling to confirm beforehand) and the office was quick to let me know when our screen was backordered. Up front and honest about their pricing, sent a reminder email about my upcoming appointment (thankfully because I had forgotten), called me early in the day (around 9am) when it was clear to them that my technician would be arriving closer to the end of my service window (closer to 4pm instead of 2pm). Beyond all that, my technician was a true pleasure. Seriously - any person who does service work in people's homes should take a lesson from him! He was very professional, unassuming, and made me comfortable with the fact that he is accustomed to critters in the house (he lives with lots of critters himself!), and would me mindful of not letting my kitties outside as he was doing his work on my open doors. He also had a very non-threatening demeanor ....so important to me, a female, during the appointment since I was home alone. we had this door installed a few years ago very hard to open and does not close on its own. The know broke within the first year and they came out and replaced it. It broke again and we called to have one shipped to us (we would pay for it) and was told we have to pick it up. we live in the Far East valley and do not want to drive to Peoria but was told that was our only option. We would not have purchased the door from them knowing we could not get the parts shipped. my recommendation is to by local if you live on the east valley. read more

Ok I am really sorry to our pool company that we referred Slide Right to, also sorry to the several people that took our advice and had Slide Right install retractors on there patio doors. Slide Right installed the self closing system on our sliding glass door in the late 90s when we had our pool built. We had them out recently because the cable on the release mechanism was broken and the door was not closing by itself any longer. I have to say Jake did an awesome job. Watch out for their hidden fees! I called and and was quoted a price of $255 the installation of 2 door nobs and hinges so that my home would be code compliant. The technician was great and when he arrived, it was determined that all I needed was a single door knob installed at a cost of $55. What I did not know and was never told, if the work is less than $100, they add an $85 service fee. So I ended up paying more for the fee to have them out, then in the actual work they did. And when I called to discuss it with them, all they said was "that is our pricing policy." The work was good, but have the decency to be honest about your pricing up front! read more

Our sliding patio door was out of alignment and I couldn't adjust it, so I called Slide Right. The tech arrived on time and was able to align the door. He said this fix would last a couple of years, but the rollers would have to be replaced. Knowing that as time passes prices go up, I had him replace the rollers and track. Pay me now or pay me later was my thinking. All I can say is wow, what a difference. The door works great and closes smoothly. I would recommend Slide Right. The rollers that were replaced were the original rollers from 2004 when the home was built. Just a heads up, you may have to wait a little bit to get an appointment. When you're good you're busy. They repaired the track on my grandpa's patio door that two other companies would not repair. The other patio door companies insisted that my grandpa's entire patio door needed to be replaced. He has an oddly sized patio door so we would have needed a customized replacement that would have cost us thousands. Door systems works great for about three years. The latch on top broke but since I didn't have young children anymore I left it broke. It would slide back but wouldn't latch. Well now I'll have some young kids coming around so figured I would get it fixed. Took the top latch down and saw the bottom of the latch broke where the wire connects to. Well called slide right to pick up a part to repair the door and was told that since it's pool code related they can not sell me any part. But they sure can come to my house and perform the repairs for 175. Really? Charge me 175 dollars for a 10-20 dollar part??? Just be aware if anything breaks it's 175 dollars for them to come out a repair, even if a screw come loose and can't find it. It's 175 dollars for that screw. I would recommend another company or sad to say Amazon. Did a search and there's a system on there for less than the 175 charge. Not the 450 initial charge I paid. read more

Their statements and illustrations indicate that the whole slide right system matches in color to the existing door. This is not true. The latches, which are at eye-level, do not match the doors. The latch mechanism is also awkward and not what is prominently shown on the website. read more
