This place is filthy. The bathroom had overflowing trash at 4:30p in the afternoon. Tables inside were dirty , saw an employee use a small napkin to scrape off the basic crumbs but left the table gross. Food was okay but order was missing bread. Yikes! I won't be back. read more

When they first opened everything seemed to be on point. Since then, my son had a chicken tender that a hair was cooked into the food, I told the manager and he apologized and graciously gave us a gift card. I don't expect Slim Chickens to be in business very long. Chick-Fil-A and Zaxby's are much better choices, not to mention, easier to get in and out of. Slims Chickens is in a very awkward location with no easy way to get in or out. In addition, the food is simply not good. My one and only visit consisted of limp, rubbery chicken, cold fries, and cold toast. I thought it might be worth trying. I know now that it was not even worth a try. I will not return to this or any other Slim Chickens. Like I have said, Chick-Fil-A and Zaxby's are infinitely better. Consider this money wasted and lesson learned, I suppose! read more

Was so looking forward to trying this, as heard a lot of positive things. We curbside ordered at 10:30 (so well before the lunch rush). They forgot a drink, gave us a wrong drink, forgot silverware and straws, put items on a salad that were requested to be held, gave the wrong salad dressing, and the food was fair at best. And here we are at the new Slim Chickens in Collierville . Sooo glad it opened. Previously went to the one in Mississippi . This one is super duper just like the other one. Naturally I had the 6 piece meal ( it's my favorite) hubby tried it this time ( he previously had been getting the chicken sandwich ) of course he loved it too! Service as usual was prompt and courteous , the order was delicious ! Manager came by to see if everything was ok, he said he had a great guy in Mississippi , we agreed. I have only had their Cayenne Ranch Chicken meal so far, however, my most honest opinion is that they will be a great overflow for Chick-fil-A. They are quite organized with production and flow just like Chick-fil-A. However, the reason I would choose the latter first is that their chicken is dryer and crispier. Slim Chickens breast was greasy and when you took the top off the bun, the greasy batter stuck to the bun and left a bare greasy breast to look at. The fries were good, but standard, nothing to make them stand out. I started to rate them lower because I asked for salt and ketchup and since they were busy I didn't inspect my bag. No salt, no ketchup. As above, when I can't get in at Chick-fil-A, I will go again, and they may continue to have plenty of business for that reason alone. read more

I ordered the 8 pc wing basket with fries and drink. I have never been served smaller wings, lukewarm, and nothing special to the seasoning. Very unsatisfying spending that kind of money on basically chicken scraps and feel like I'm eating... scraps. Was visiting out of town. Was driving by decided to stop by found the name to be catchy. First, at the drive thru no menu, they will take your order but no menu. I told the man I am out of town I am not familiar with what you are offering to eat, he will tell me what's on the menu. I should have left then, that was my sign that plain simply to go. So I ordered food, without beverages. Little did I know what I was going to encounter while trying to eat this food. EVERYTHING WAS OVERSALTED!!! The pickles were so salty, the food was so salty. How do you get wraps with sooo much salt. (I didn't even ask for any salt for the record!) DISGUSTING!! I threw all the food out, at the next restaurant and ate that food instead of this $30 completely went to garbage. Instead of Slim Chicken this place should be called Salt Mine where we serve everything with salt and we mean a lot of salt!! read more

Workers were extremely rude. Messed up two orders and accused us of lying about ordering mayonnaise. In addition was given one tender less than ordered and when we asked to fix it, they said "why are you taking it so serious". Mac n cheese was good and The classic chicken sandwich was pretty good. We also got a 3 tender meal though and the tenders were really really small....i would not recommend getting the tenders. I'll give it another shot sometime soon and explore other areas of the menu. Hopefully a second, better review coming soon. read more

I've been door dashing all day, and I've learned one thing. I will no longer eat at 99% off the fast food restaurants in Memphis. However, Slim Chickens was a breath of fresh air. I went in tonight, was there last customer of the night. You would think they would be tired and annoyed that I came in line right before closing. However, even if that was the case, they didn't show it. The were friendly and cheerful. Restaurant looked clean and nice. Even though I was there at the end of the night, my food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Whatever management is doing, keep it up! Great experience!! Don't sleep on this place. My husband and I have heard mixed reviews about this place and finally decided to try it out. I ordered tenders and fries and it was similar to Zaxby's but in my opinion Slim Chickens is better . The overall is that it's good food with a cool atmosphere and friendly staff. read more

Let me start by saying that I really like this place. I like the chicken and the wraps, but the customer service is SO HORRIBLE. Each time I go there they go through this process of asking your name for the order and they STILL manage to give you someone else's food at the window. What's the point of that? Anywho, I would have continued to go there cause like I said, I like the chicken. The last visit was it for me. They went through the whole name thing which wasn't the problem this time. Once I got to the window, the young lady gave me my drink first. The top was half on and as I took it, I had Dr. Pepper running down the side of my hand. When I asked her for some napkins she said that I would get some when my food came out. Excuse me?? I told her with the drink running all over my hand, that I wanted the napkins now. I was able to speak to a manager, but this place SUCKS at customer service. I told him that I'm sure they won't miss my $$, BUT, customer service still matters.
