What a mess! Went around lunch time, it was chaotic and waited almost a half hour for one to go chicken wrap. It was so sloppy and messy and barely had chicken inside of it. If you're going to eat here, order takeout. Do not dine in. I don't write reviews, especially negative ones. The food is good. Every table in the restaurant is sticky and disgusting. I work in a restaurant that is 50x busier than Slim's at the time I went, there were only 2 other customers in the building, and the girl working the front of house was standing around cracking jokes with the kitchen, with every table in the building sticky, soda machine out of soda, and people waiting on food sitting in the window. My job is to literally bus tables, speaking from experience, it's not that hard to wipe a table down. I had to literally cover our table in paper towels in order to keep from touching the sticky sludge left behind from whoever sat there before me. Terrible environment and atmosphere. We love slim chickens for there tenders. They are always made fresh and the fries from here are really good. The fried pickles from here are really good as well. The place was nice and clean and we had great service. The chicken and waffles from here are also so good n tasty. Haven't had a bad meal from here. I don't know. It's my first time here. I saw that kids meals are $1.99 on Sunday. I have 3 kids. You can only get a single kids meal for $1.99 per adult entree. Well I ordered for myself, wife and kids and then I am told that only two of the kids meals will be that price. So I just removed the 3rd since my kids are small and they share anyways. We stopped at this location Saturday. I love Skim Chickens. My grandson and I fight over which chicken tender place to eat because he likes the competition's tenders. I don't because they offer ONE dipping sauce that I am not a fan of. This location was spotless. We were greeted by a very friendly cashier, I forget his name but he is in a wheelchair. He is great. Very friendly and helpful. I love the variety of sauces. Since my grandson doesn't want the sauce with his I go ahead and order some and I have several to dip my strips into. They have fresh lemonade that you get for the same price as other drinks! This location has wings everyday. However they are skimpy in my opinion. My wife likes them so that's a plus. Where to start? Both bathrooms out of order. Pretty sure you're supposed to close when there is no working plumbing. We were told to go down to an adjoining restaurant. The Cayenne Ranch sandwich was raw in the middle. The wings were hard pink. The Diet Coke syrup was out. The manager had no answers other than shrugs. What a Wonderfully nice staff they have here. It was my first time to a Slims and I'll be back. Great Mac and cheese, went well with my tenders. They also have an outdoor seating area that's very comfortable. A great place to stop by before or after you go shopping in the area. This place just thanked me for my review! I'm not surprised. Had lunch here and the gentleman who took our order, David, was so polite and made sure our order came out perfect. The chicken strips have a crunch to them and are moist on the inside. I have had both their chicken tender meals and their salad before, which were good, but I ordered the Smoky Cheddar Wrap meal with potato salad for a side this time. The potato salad was excellent, though similar to but not quite as good as the German style potato salad at Whole Hog Cafe. The wrap was good, and had a good number of flavorful nuggets inside, but it seemed to be lacking something. It needed more than just nuggets and lettuce. I was very satisfied with my experience tonight at the slims on Joyce, Service was friendly and fast. The cayenne ranch needs to be bottled and sold so I can keep it at my house. I had the 5x5 plate where you get the best of both worlds, tenders and wings. The buffalo sauce was a perfect mix of spicy, buttery glory. And it paired great with the ranch. The tenders came out hot and fresh but not too hot like I've had from slims at times. Overall 5 star experience guys. read more

We have liked this location in the past but today we waited 30min for our food. The biggest disappointment though, was that one of the staff preparing food was wearing his mask under his chin. I love slim chickens but not this location. Every time I go here it takes FOREVER to get my food. This past time I got it to go and it took 25 minutes. I got home and my buffalo grilled chicken wrap had no buffalo sauce and was fried. Called the store to let them know. According to manager "per policy you must have receipt." I have loved Slim Chickens every since I moved to Fayetteville. The chicken strips are always juicy and delicious.
