They could not move the toilet as originally planned because a structure was blocking access to the drain in the new location. They came back on a weekend and repaired a couple of disconnected vent pipes. They pointed out other areas where previous plumbing was unprofessional. I had a number of plumbing issues at my home. Everything was leaking and not working. I reviewed the plumbers on yelp even though I had a home owners insurance policy. I have not had good luck with the plumbers they sent out and nothing is ever fixed permanently. I called Victor and he came out immediately. I described the problems and he suggested a potential area to explore. He put a gauge on my faucet that measured pressure and it read 160 psi. He replaced the pressure regulator to get the pressure down to 65 psi, replaced a kitchen faucet, fixed two toilets, and searched and retrieved a part that save me big $ so I didn't have to replace another faucet. Victor has absolutely saved us on multiple occasions. We bought a fixer-upper knowing that there would likely be some plumbing and piping issues to deal with. UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY. First situation: our hot water heater mysteriously stopped working in the dead of winter last year, throwing error messages at us. The thing was out of warranty and we were on the verge of spending thousands of dollars to replace it altogether when someone recommended having Victor take a look. Victor was totally honest and said that while this heater unit itself wasn't his expertise, he could do a simple check of the line pressure before having us commit to an entire system switch-out. It was far less money to do the check, so we did, and it turned out that our propane tank gas regulator was broken. He made the easy fix and within an hour or so we had a properly-functioning heater. Second situation: Victor noticed that the release valve for the water heater was incorrectly piped with an outlet emitting hot gas into the area where our boys play in the backyard. He quickly took care of that and charged a very fair, nominal price to address this safety issue. Third situation: Our toilet started leaking out the bottom and backing up into our shower. Victor came over within the hour and diagnosed it as a septic tank issue. He did some line-snaking before letting us know that it was a bigger problem and we needed to call a septic truck to pump the unit. He came back promptly after that to re-wax the toilet seal. Such a lifesaver! Without his advice we would have been spinning our wheels with various handymen trying to troubleshoot the problem. Fourth situation: Our shower head snapped clean off when I pulled on it a little too aggressively. Victor happened to have the replacement head we needed, and we were back in action within 15 minutes. Victor is now our first call anytime anything goes awry with our home's water. I trust his expertise completely and am thankful that he not only addresses the problem at hand, but considers the long-term safety of our four little boys. read more

Where do I start ! Wanted to hook up ice and water on fridge and I started the process and could not finish. Called these guys and after I sent a couple photos they came super quick! Then turns out I was wrong about having right size needed items and they went to get the part and came back and out in so much extra effort in. They cleaned their mess and also mine! Since my first review, I have had Victor do a few more plumbing jobs for me, his work and customer service remains 1st class. There is simply not a better guy out there! He does the best work because he has a great deal of pride in his work. Nothing is 'that will do'. His work is done right or it's not good enough. As well as other jobs, he installed a reverse osmosis system, due to my current plumbing, the installation was not straight forward, Victor researched, designed and fabricated a custom copper piece and now the system works amazing! I had my main sewer line to septic tank clogged over the weekend. He offered to come on Saturday or wait for Monday. Opted to wait. Called back on Monday morning and he showed up early afternoon. Had a wonderful experience with Victor. My in laws had water all iver their garage floor and running water coming from the outside pipe on the house. I looked on yelp, found slique plumbing and the reviews were great so I thought I'd give them a call. Victor answered and I told him the problem. He speaks spanish as well and my in laws primary language is spanish so that was a bonus. Need a master plumber you can trust and who won't gouge you? I don't know what we would have done without Slique Plumbing! Victor, the owner and licensed contractor, is not only family but he truly is an amazing plumber! He always shows up to all of his customer calls, his prices are fair and his workmanship is Slique! I can always trust what he has done because I know it was done right the first time!!! We've lived in our home for 4-5 years and he has had to do an unbelievable amount of work for us. It's literally a laundry list of things so I am just going to list so you really understand what kind of an expert you are getting with Victor! He has... replaced faucets in the bathroom sinks and showers. changed out the garbage disposal. replaced rusty valves in the laundry room. replaced our water heater and installed replacement shutoff valves. found and fixed a slab leak in the closet. He even provided fans to make sure it dried properly so that mold wouldn't grow after all that. changed out 5 corroded hose valves. repaired the main service to the house two times, in two separate areas, and identified that the new pool equipment was the issue. (Too bad the pool guy wasn't as great!) Victor installed an emergency shutoff to the water that goes just to the pool pump incase it ever fails (which means I won't be wasting water or out of water in the house during repairs) and he installed a regulator to stop the real issues with our service basically exploding! Installed irrigation valves. Plumbed a new water line for the refrigerator so we could relocate it to another part of the kitchen. fixed the toilets, unclogged the septic and even replaced the septic pump. This could have been an insane expense on a new home owner! I hope nothing else goes wrong with our house but if it does I will only call Slique Plumbing to come fix the problem! read more

I called Victor for the 2nd time yesterday. First time was last summer. I can't compliment him enough. Always answers the phone and responds to emergency repairs very quickly. Yesterday our water main blew out down by the street, it was so bad multiple people came to the house as they drive by to let us know. I wasn't home, so I called the water district to have them shut off the water. Called victor and he was on site within a couple hours. Because the water district guy told me it was 1.5 inch pipe that is what I told Victor and that was the parts he brought. Oops. We used Victor once before to fix a minor issue in our bathroom, he was very nice and professional. So when we suspected that we had a leak in our main line between the house and meter we immediately looked him up again. For some reason our meter is on an easement two houses over, so it was a long run of pipe to troubleshoot and took a while to find the issue, but Victor is the kind of guy who doesn't give up easily. After being rejected by our home warranty company's plumbing contractor I found Slique Plumbing. Vic came out last minute on his busy Friday night. I felt terrible as it was getting dark out, but Vic knew what he was getting into and was well prepared. As I requested, he snaked/cleaned our ground cleanout. He came very professional and performed the work well. The next day, our showers wouldn't drain. I contacted Vic and notified him the issue. However, before he left on Friday, he knew there was more to just cleaning the ground cleanout, but that was all I wanted. Vic got back right away and went out of his way on a Saturday night to snake our pipes from the roof. He made sure he snaked the pipes all the way through to the street.
