DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! I hired this company to fix a leak. The came and could locate the leak . they opened the ceiling and I paid $235 for their time. i told them I will be taking care of the closing since I have to get a second opinion since they couldn't find the leak. I ended up getting another more competent company to come fix the leak and seal the ceiling. 2 days later the technician came to my house unannounced which was weird. Omid the technician said he is there to Seal the ceiling. I explained to him that I took care of the problem and that they knew about it. In the next weeks they harassed me with multiple calls demanding $150 for an unannounced call. They ended up sending me to collections which I ended up paying but will never do business with security plumbing again!!! read more

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered with this company. Their technician failed to collect payment at the time of service, and I received an invoice six months later without any prior follow-up. As someone who manages multiple properties, I needed time to verify the work with my tenants--especially since the delay was entirely on their end. During this period, I was also facing several personal emergencies, including the recent passing of my father in law and the demands of running a homeless shelter. Despite explaining this, I received multiple rude and unprofessional text messages demanding payment, with no acknowledgment of the company's error in failing to bill me promptly. Instead of accepting any responsibility, they charged me a $25 late fee on a $250 invoice simply because I couldn't pay it within two weeks of receiving it--months after the actual service. I even called to resolve the issue and was accused of yelling when I expressed my frustration (total gas lighting). I explained that I had attempted to pay on Friday but was unable to due to a tech issue--which the representative confirmed--but again, no empathy, no flexibility. It's disappointing to be treated so poorly over a billing error that was not my fault. I understand that businesses need to be paid, but basic human compassion and professionalism go a long way--neither of which I experienced here. -Give your money to a company with better ethos and professionalism. read more

Recommend hiring literally any other plumbing service than this one unfortunately we've had to use them several times because our property management company hires them probably because they're the cheapest ones in the market. The first time they came to our home a few years ago to unclog a drain, they left a filthy drain snake on our carpet which stained it even after attempted to clean it. Recently, they came to fix a bathtub faucet and knocked over a shelf, breaking a plant and several other items which they refused to take responsibility for. Woke up in the morning and went to the garage to grab something.....as I entered the garage I could hear water running.....then I stepped into a puddle and went to my water heater and the sound became stronger....there was water coming out from the base of the water heater...I cut the water off and started to call around....then after a few minutes I remembered Security Plumbing from helping me with an issue (slab leak)....these guys answered my call at 7am and told me they could come out by 11am....they came and took care of everything...installed a new unit and I was up and running by 3pm. Omed is fantastic and we will definitely be using Security Plumbing in the future. We found them based on the reviews, on a Saturday when we had a gas leak. I knew the source of the gas leak, because I had caused it. Attached is a picture of my poor attempt to repair a nick in a gas line (the part that is cut out) and Omed's professional repair. I called around and got some pretty ridiculous quotes. Omed said that he was not available until Monday, but spoke with me about it and gave me a good feeling about the services he would provide and that he would provide them at a reasonable charge. Sure enough, he showed up on time and fixed it much more quickly than I expected. His professional demeanor was also helpful in dealing with our jittery nerves, due to the gas leak. Though he was busy, he also took the time to help us with a drain that my wife had asked me to clean. We appreciate him handling the unscheduled request. I just found out the house didn't have a water pressure regulator and wanted one as soon as possible. I called Security because I've been happy with work they've done before. They were able to come out same day and put in a regulator and replace the shut off valve. EXCELLENT! I am so pleased with this plumbing company! Recently we discovered a pipe leak in our ceiling. I called once we discovered it which was after 6:00 pm on a Monday. Not only did they answer the phone, but David was courteous and professional and sent someone out that same evening to repair. Martin, the young man who came to our home to repair our leak was also extremely professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job in repairing the leak and was very thoughtful and careful in the repair and cleanup. I am always worried when I have to call a repair professional after hours because of what the cost may be, but the cost was extremely reasonable and no after hours cost. WARNING: DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! I had a backup with my plumbing, so someone from this company checked my main line and said it was clear. He said the backup was from the garbage disposal, so he cleared the line. A week later the disposal was backed up again so the same guy came back and fixed it. A week after that I had a sewage overflow in my shower and sinks. The company refused to fix the issue. The guy who handles telephone calls and scheduling told me to "shut the fuck up" and that if I wanted free work done, I should "ask my daddy." Update: I hired another plumber who said that the sewage backup was due to a clog in the check valve. The cleanout was full of foul smelling debris that built up over a long period of time. He said that any competent plumber knows to take the cover off of the check valve cleanout and clear any debris. Security Plumbing never looked at the check valve when they checked my plumbing system, so sewage came up through my drains two weeks later. Instead of apologizing and fixing the issue, Security Plumbing made offensive statements and blamed me. read more

I called this company to come out and install a bathroom faucet. I told them I had my own faucet and needed it to be installed. I was quoted a price of $199. The bill was for $ 357! I checked with 3 other plumbers who said I was ripped off especially since I had my own faucet. They didn't give me the senior discount which they offer because they said I got the HOA discount. Here is what the websites says: "We are a flat rate plumbing company. You know the price before we begin the work, there are no hidden charges." Let me start by saying that I have decades of experience doing and studying customer service and could easily teach classes on the subject, so I pay attention when I'm dealing with companies, employees, and service. When a company employs a worker who has excellent skills on all levels, the company should complement, reward, and retain them whenever possible. Matin "came to my rescue" when I had a toilet plumbing related issue this week. His technical and people skills were outstanding! Matin was appropriately friendly, polite, personable, intelligent, and conscious of the time. In two words, "instincts" and "skills". He listened carefully to my input as we analyzed the problem and began to figure out solutions. He was respectful of my "space" and property, and was responsive to my sense of humor and brief (but not distracting) side conversation. He also reassured my concerns and answered my questions about possible future problems with this same plumbing issue. He even made practical suggestions about what I can do to prevent the problem from reoccurring! Whenever I interact with someone who has great skills in helping me and others, I try to encourage them in a humorous but serious way by sometimes saying something like, "You get a gold star for the day!", or "I'll see that you get a raise and a promotion!" or "You'll be running this place in no time." My wife and I just recently bought a new house. Very slowly we are learning of the items we now need to fix and repair!! Being an electrical contractor I tend to do all my own repairs, how ever, plumbing is one thing I do not touch!! This weekend we had an emergency issue. The drain line connecting the kitchen, laundry, and a bathroom started backing up and flooding out the clean out in the garage. We needed it fixed quickly. Well, Security Plumbing lived up to their reputation on yelp. David was very responsive and was able to get a technician out to my house that fit my schedule. Javier, our tech, was very helpful and very thorough on his initial inspection, and I trusted his feedback.
