I love Slyce! We've lived on Slyce for 30 years. Here are my recommendations! I love lasagna ala nonna, chicken parm is delicious, Eggplant Parmesan dinner well done, Chicken Venezia, Fired up shrimp... is the yummiest, I could do without the pasta and the pizza unless it is their summer special pizza( yummy) ... And the bread !?%^^%. just go to Chicco's next door and buy their delicious fresh bread that they make every day. It's delicious! , Slyce has the best salad dressing on earth. We always order a large garden salad, their salad dressing is never a disappointment. ! One more..., please get noise canceling earphones for the person who answers the phone. Tasty pizza. I liked the flavor a lot. I liked the cheese, the texture and the flavor of the cheese and oil. Crust was good especially for some reason on the top of the slice that people often discard. That was very good plain it had a nice taste to it so I ate it. The base of the pizza itself was pretty good but maybe could have had a little more crisp and structure to it and maybe just a small fraction thinner. Overall, this was a fantastic pizza I'd be happy to eat. Good flavor. As far as ambiance, the place was nice and empty which I like and they had a bar as well as a good number of tables inside. Looked like they had a good number of fresh and many local beers on tap. It would be a good place to have a quiet chat and drink with a friend. Service was good, straight forward. We have always enjoyed the delicious thin crust pizza at Slyce. With all the pizza places in Westchester, this restaurant ranks as one of our favorites. We always order the most wonderful avocado salad with fresh, healthy greens and a terrific salad dressing. Equally as important is the customer service; the owner and servers are very welcoming and extremely accommodating. If you haven't been there, it's definitely worth the trip. read more

We had 2 pizzas which were great: RU Nuts which was sausage and white cheese, very tasty. Burrata bomb which was a while burrata on top of a classic style pizza, also devoured by our group. Food was really good, service was a bit awkward, they definitely could use someone to give them a half day lesson in seating people, following up, doing the check etc. read more

Slyce is a beautiful restaurant tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The interior is beautifully designed, with wood furniture and seating throughout the restaurant. There are both large tables and a bar seating area. The pizza here is delicious - I tried their veggie pizza, which was covered with fresh veggies including peppers, mushrooms, onions, and olives. The pizza came out piping hot once I arrived, with a thin and chewy crust. There are a lot of other food and craft beer options here as well! read more

Have been going here for years. They probably have one of the best buffalo chicken and meat lovers pizza I've ever had. That's the only reason I'm giving them 3 stars. This place! I have always been a sucker for NY pizza but I'm usually stuck getting a half warmed slice somewhere where in the city. When we walked in it was absolutely freezing in there!! The guy came asked why I didn't tell him I was cold and turned down the air. Ok back to the pizza. We ordered half pepperoni and all mushroom. It was absolutely delicious. Pretty, decidedly meh. We had a group dinner on a Monday night. The place was basically empty. The service was pleasant, but otherwise really poor. Kept forgetting to do things; e.g., bring plates, bring water when requested. We ordered some salads and pizzas to share. It took forever to got our food. It didn't seem like the kitchen was busy so its unclear why? The salads were way over-dressed and swimming in oil. The pizzas were ok, but not at the price points for 12" thin crust pizza. I would have given a higher rating but for the delivery I blame myself partly I should have picked up the food myself instead of ordering delivery. Although the buratta pie was cold and soggy it still tasted good the grilled lemon pepper chicken was good and the fries with truffle oil tasted good even slightly cold. I'm full blooded Italian and eat chicken parm on the regular from many different places. I'm not one to write reviews either but the chicken parm hero I took a bite of was horrible. The sauce had a funky taste and the chicken wasn't cutlets it was strips and a few of them were chewy. Took two bites total just incase the first bite was just my taste buds out of wack. Came in with a friend the other day to get a quick slice and I was pleasantly surprised! The ambience is both modern and cozy with very friendly and attentive staff. They also had a decent selection of wine and craft beers which is a nice perk. I ordered a slice of bacon pizza and you definitely get $4 worth! The slice is huge and they do not skimp on toppings. For their slices I believe they just take a regular cheese and add on the basic topping afterwards which sometimes could be a let down but it definitely didn't effect the quality of these. After living in the area for eight years I resided to the fact that the best pizza in the area was probably the mediocre pizzeria in Hartsdale by the train station....but then I "found" Slyce. After reading the Yelp! reviews I was immediately skeptical. Many of the reviews seemed fake and came off way too positive. I held off for a few months until my neighbor recommended them. The slice they offer is very good - best in the area in my opinion. They are also really large - a true slice. When you get a pie, the slices are not as large but the quality is still there. Parking is convenient. I wish the staff was friendlier however. They also offer waiter service...they are definitely more than just a pizzeria. Great selection of Italian specialties and drinks. I haven't tried anything but the pizza and salad. Service can be slow - sometimes painfully so. I highly recommend you make a reservation or call ahead to order your pie. Even if you call ahead and they tell you 30 minutes, you'll still end up waiting. read more

The thing about Ardsley is, it might seem a bit too quiet with only a few businesses in town but each one of those is really nice inside. Slyce is a perfect example. I go there regularly with my family, usually on Saturday for lunch after kid's activity. My favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza which is absolutely delicious. Ugh. I want to like this place bc the pizza is great. BUT, the delivery is so slow. I waited 2.5 hours last night for pizza, and it wasn't even a weekend. Just insane. Same thing happened a few weeks ago. To top it off, they only delivered 3 of the 4 pizzas I ordered. After 2.5 hours, you can imagine how much I was looking forward to my food. Do not come here if you are ethnic/ person of color. The worker here is very racist and rude. Very disappointed and upset with my experience at Slyce in Ardsley. I placed an order through Uber eats for pickup. I got to the restaurant and let the worker there know that I was picking up my order I placed through Uber eats. He looks at me up and down and tells me my order was never made he said "the menu you ordered from does not exist anymore". Mind you I left work on my lunch break with very limited time. So I had to eat, I asked him if I can order and he said no. 2 White woman with blonde hair and blue eyes walk in and he immediately assists them and ignores me. Understandable he has to attend customers, I still had the intention to order food from there. I asked him a simple question if I cancel the order through Uber or here in person. Ignored me. I continued to ask politely, can I still order? Ignores me. I walked out upset with tears in my eyes because I was not raised to make a scene in public or be rude to service workers. A proper employee would let me place a new order/help me out but not at Slyce. I will never come here again. This is completely saddening that during these times this is still happening. read more

Came here a few months ago with another couple to dine in. Will never do that again, would rather order out because your food comes out 100x faster. Waited an exorbitantly long time for food when it was a Sunday and there were all of 10 patrons in there. Ordered the fig pizza, burrata, mussels, mac and cheese, and chicken parm wedge. Tasty, nice size servings, decently priced. All in all the food was really good, the service was really bad. My guess is our waitress either had minimal multi-tasking skills and/or was hungover from the night before. The prices were a little excessive for pizza and the service was actually horrible. We ask for Separate Checks after we ordered the before the Pizza came. Cool ambiance, great beer, and awesome pasta (and what looks like great pizza). We got the Broccoli Rabe to share as well as an Arugula Salad with shaved Parmesean - the white Balsamic was amazing. Not sure how I feel about the Rabe being diced up, since i like the way it soaks up all the flavor and makes a big mess, but it sure is easier to eat that way. We shared the Rigatoni Vodka...which to be honest was some of the best Vodka sauce i've had in the Valley. You know how sometimes its "over sauced" but theres no basil or flavor? Well at Slyce it is perfectly sauced with awesome flavor. More than enough to split between two if you share a nice little starter. I haven't even had Italian out since we moved down to Dobbs Ferry, but i was impressed by the food. Best salad I have had in a very long time. It's made with fresh romaine lettuce, red and green bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. Add a little oil and balsamic vinegar to the salad and HEAVEN has arrived! Great job! I also had a slice of pizza which I couldn't eat too much after the scrumptious salad but I tried. I ordered a salad for take out that is supposed to have 3 Ingredients - tomato, avocado and mozzarella cheese. When I opened it at home we saw it had NO mozzarella. First - how do you miss one of three ingredients? Second - when I called they told me I had to drive back over to pick up a few pieces of cheese. No offer to deliver it or even better - give me a new salad with everything. When I asked about delivery I was told all the delivery men were out.
