We were on a family vacation when the indicator on our van showed low pressure in one tire. I took…read morethe van to this location of America's Tire, and they found a nail that had punctured the tire. They fixed it for free, noting that the tires still had plenty of tread and that the nail was in a spot that was easily repairable. They were professional and friendly, even though the repair didn't result in an immediate sale for them. Our family has bought tires from America's Tire for over 20 years. It's a great brand, and the employees at this location reminded us exactly why.

I was preparing to take my truck on a cross-country road trip and knew it needed new tires, so I…read morebrought it to America's Tire for a new set of tires and paid extra for an alignment. The installation was completed on a Wednesday, but on the drive home I noticed the truck consistently pulled to the right. I brought it back on Friday morning, and they performed another alignment. Unfortunately, the truck was still pulling on the drive home, so I turned around and brought it back again. At that point, they called me into the shop and explained that a front passenger-side ball joint needed to be repaired before the alignment could be completed properly. They were unable to perform that repair themselves. My concern was that this issue hadn't been identified during the original tire installation or the second alignment attempt. I don't know whether it was missed initially or if it was simply a coincidence that the problem became apparent when it did, but it was frustrating to learn about it only after multiple visits. I then took the truck to a mechanic, had the repair completed, and was told it would need another alignment. Since the alignment was still under warranty, I returned to America's Tire on Saturday morning for what ended up being a fourth alignment attempt. After working on it again, the technician told me he had done everything he could and recommended that I take it elsewhere to diagnose the pulling issue. I followed that advice and took the truck to another shop, where they were able to correct the problem. I will say that everyone I dealt with was polite and professional throughout the process. No one was rude, and they did make an effort to address my concerns each time I brought the truck back. This was simply my experience. I know many people who use America's Tire and have had excellent service. Unfortunately, after four trips to the shop and still needing another business to resolve the issue, I left disappointed with the overall experience.

Great shop, honest workers and fair prices. I've been a big brand customer for many years. Recently…read morehad a flat on tires that came with my truck, not from big brand. They got me repaired and going for no charge. I've bought many tires here and also had them do oil changes for me. Previously I used Costco, no complaints there but big brand has just been easy to deal with and nice that they can do more than tires.

Update to original review:…read more After I contacted Big Brand's customer service team, they responded promptly, involved the district manager and local management, inspected the vehicle, and ultimately replaced the damaged oil pan at no cost to me. During that process, they also acknowledged that diagnosing the exhaust manifold issue was beyond the scope of what their shop is equipped to handle and told me they should have referred me to a shop with the appropriate expertise instead of simply reporting that no problem could be found. They said they would use this as a coaching opportunity with their employees, which I appreciated. In the past, they've been upfront about the types of work they do and don't perform, and I think that's a reasonable approach. While I'm still disappointed that the original inspection missed several items, I appreciate that Big Brand took my concerns seriously, communicated with me throughout the process, and ultimately stood behind their work by replacing the oil pan. That willingness to investigate the issue and make it right is why I'm updating my review.

Since retiring in October 2025, Monday has becoming my "Costco Day." With the price of gas…read moreridiculous, I've started filling up my Dodge RAM at Costco. The gas service area is quite massive and very clean. I have yet to see it crowded, but there are green/red lights to signify the status of the pumps. Lots of room to navigate, even large vehicles to get to a pump. It's one way in and one way out. Hard to talk price, their gas price is on average a few cents cheaper than what I can find in Paso Robles. Doesn't really make it worth my while to drive 30 miles to save a few cents, so I couple this stop with my Monday shopping. If you are a member of Costco, I would recommend the pumps in SLO. It's freeway accessible and affordable when you start looking at other gas stations off LOVR.

Located in San Luis Obispo, this small Costco gas station is located off the 101. The gas station…read morewas hard to find as compared to its location to the Costco, and difficult to get to and get out of (ended up going through the main store entrance which took time, and ended up cutting into the existing line because there was no room to manuever). It's also quite small (only 3 islands with 2 pumps each, for a total of 12 nozzles) and there was a wait (more than 10 minutes). It also had the highest gas price for 87 on our grip ($4.48 per gallon). We ended up only stopping for gas at Costco gas stations during our 4 night road trip. Of course this means that you can't be filling up at night, though now all Costco gas stations seem to be open until 10 pm on weeknights.
