Since I first found this brewery it's become a staple. I find myself here at LEAST once a week. Everyone is friendly - from staff, to patrons. We always have so much fun. I love that there's a great variety of beer available, and it changes often. The hard seltzers are excellent, especially because Small Craft offers several syrups to create your own flavor. I highly recommend stopping by. Note: they do not serve food, but bringing your own is welcomed.

Visited this place after having dinner close by. Listen when I tell you I had a great time. This place is adorable and no frills and I say that with all respect - it's a hidden gem. From the employees to the patrons everyone was so nice - it's was a mixed bag couples, groups, families and dogs. There are a ton of games to play and multiple TV's at the bar. The bartenders were great with suggestions to help u choose the right brew. They also serve wine and hard seltzer. You can also bring food or order in. Just a really cool and inviting hangout.

A bit of a hole in the wall of a local brewery, but don't let that fool you, they are delivering AAA quality. With a constant rotation of new and exciting beers (you have to try the Tsunamiii), there is always something I want to try and plenty of old reliable options to fall back on. Current favorite is the dreadnought, a barley wine coming in at nearly 16% but it tastes amazing if you like darker beers. The atmosphere has always been great with indoor and outdoor seating options and staff are the friendliest guys around. It's a place that's easy to miss, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for it, because missing this place is the last thing you want to do.

5 Pumpkin Crowlers to-go....in June! "The Horror" 9%.

When I saw a Facebook post that they were brewing pumpkin beers in June, I couldn't resist! Pickup only right now, but that didn't stop me from ordering a few crowlers. At first I saw that pick-up was only until 315pm Monday-Saturday. I really wanted to pick some up on Friday to have for Saturday. I wouldn't make it by 315 being that I don't get out of work until 3. I decided to send them a message and see. To my surprise, they offered that they would hang around until 330 on Friday so that I would be able to pick-up my order! Talk about customer satisfaction!! Curb-side pick up was a breeze! You call when you're in the parking lot, and they bring it out. Simple! Now the taste...absolutely delicious! Amazing pumpkin flavors and undertones. At 9%, it hits the spot. I really don't care that it's June. I enjoyed my pumpkin brew completely! Cheers!

A hidden gem behind a mechanic shop. My friend's dad was gifted beer from this company and we were in the area so we decided to stop by altogether. We came on a Thursday night and they were packed! The bartender was friendly and provided drinks on the house. I'm not a fan of beer but I fell in love with their Mexican flavor. It's light and refreshing! Didn't taste too malty. Even though they don't provide food, they allow customers to bring food and hang out. My friends and I decided to order through door dash and played card games as we enjoyed our beer. I'd recommend this place and come here again for the beer, and ambiance.

Great hidden gem. Unfortunately because it's behind a mechanic shop they're not going to get walk-ins who would normally see the sign from the street. Lots of loyal locals and ppl. who look for breweries which is how I found it. I tried 2 of their beers (out of about 10 available) and liked them both. Very cool atmosphere and real nice people!

My friends and I were in the mood for a brunch and decided to go to Brownstone's in Amityville and what's when we came across this hidden brewery! We love new experiences and beer lol so we decided to check it out. Such a charming establishment. The service was impeccable; both of the gentlemen were very personable and offered up a lot of interesting and cool information in regards to the beer. The ambiance is very relaxed. They have a food truck in the back and I was told they have live entertainment from time to time. I will definitely be back.

Been here twice. It's a cute little brewery. It's also kid-friendly which is great since so many other breweries are not because of covid. The staff is super nice and the beer is pretty solid. Both times I've been here, it wasn't crazy crowded which is a plus. The parking lot is tiny so we had to park on the street, which isn't a deal breaker. 100% would recommend this chill brewery.

Bay House Brown. High ABV with a good flavor. Oh and I'm lovin' the chips.

Listen, Long Island. From now on, there's a small craft advisory in Amityville. Hey, don't panic. This is a good thing! All it means is more beer for us to drink. Small Craft Brewery? Get ready to set sail! A few weekends ago, one of my beer buddies and I ventured down to the south shore to hit up this brand spankin' new suds spot. I then had the pleasure of trying it all out again a few days ago. Between both times, things went swimmingly (no actual water activities were involved...well, unless you count drinking beer). Parking can come at a premium, but like I usually say, I won't stick it to a place if they just don't have the space (not a slogan, but I could get used to that). Anyhoo, once situated in a spot, the exterior looked like a converted garage. Once inside, it's so much more than that. Small Craft's set up reminds me of a combination of several other LI brewery tap rooms (Garvies Point, Oyster Bay, Dubco) while still giving off their own unique touches. For one, the mildly nautical charm through clever beer names as well as their own poker chips to use with a chip-system-flight were nice hints of originality. Barrels and picnic tables plus plenty of countertop space around the back and a decently-sized bar makes the place quaint yet roomy. Some merch was also available for purchase (pint glass, check). But enough of the aesthetics. Let's get into the tastes (and I don't mean licking the building). Brew selection was decent with several IPAs and takes on many other styles (stout, brown ale, kolsch, wit). Some were true standouts, such as Bay House (a heavier brown ale with plenty of flavor) and Citra Pale Ale (a subtle haze and hoppy finish with easy mouthfeel). I liked Citra so much it was my pint of choice the other night during trip numero dos. Though a couple of brews somewhat missed the mark, like Dream Boat (an oddly light stout that didn't have the complexion it should or could) and Depth Charge (kind of a more West Coast IPA style that just lost me on the intense bitterness). Everything else faired nicely (shout out to Spindrift and Thatch Island, [Thatch being on the menu the second time around]). Overall, Small Craft Brewery packs in good quality through its tasting room and above-par brews. I'm not sold on five stars just yet, but it's not too far off. Consider the place borderline 4.5 for now. Keep brewin' and I'll keep on drinkin', but don't worry, if I do partake in some suds, I'll be sure to stay away from boarding any actual small crafts (har har). *Of course, a brewery would be my 500th review*

Flight or is it a small craft?

I really feel like I am drinking at the dock at this place. Nice little spot, with a nice garage door they open when the weather is nice! I thought they had a nice mix of styles, IPA, pale ale, cream ale, sour, rye. My favorite beer was the rye melange, delicious. The leeward Vienna lager was also executed very well. I would most def stop in again when I am back in LI.

Found this hidden gem basically across the street from our store about 2 years ago. Been coming back weekly for post work beers ever since. Craig and Rob behind the bar are the nicest guys and also extremely knowledgeable about all the beers. Love this spot. Great beers, great people

Glad I found this hidden gem. Very chill atmosphere, a nice place to be left alone & have some beers. I got a flight & it was a great opportunity to try a couple different options. Menus available if you'd like to have food delivered. They offer cheese plates. Looking forward to stopping back soon. Purchased a 3 pack of biiiiig beers & they filled them right from the tap & sealed the cans with a machine. So cool! If you are a local that likes beer & haven't been here yet IDK what you are waiting for!

Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the food takes far longer than expected. Takeout orders are routinely 15 minutes or more past the quoted pickup time, which is frustrating when you're planning your day around their estimate. Service has also been inconsistent. The waitstaff often seems disorganized, and communication regarding delays is lacking. I understand restaurants get busy, but after multiple visits, the same problems keep occurring. The food is decent, but not enough to make up for the long waits and repeated service issues. After giving this restaurant several opportunities, I don't see myself return

The location might seem small, but it's jammed packed with traditional flavors that are being executed to perfection. Can't believe I waited this long living in the neighborhood (2+yrs) to finally stroll in and experience what some might say is 'Pura Vida' or !Magnífico¡ Upon first visit, I had to try one of their margaritas and at least one 'Street food' menu item, so opted for their Pear Margarita and Birria Empanadas. Let's say Bravo, Brava and Encore to explore more of their menu. The cocktail was totally on point without being overpowering in any way, very balanced and brightly refreshing. The empanadas were deliciously crispy without being greasy, stuffed and sealed perfectly. Then opted to try their Mashed Potatoes Fries and requested a side of their advertised Shishito slaw seen topping another menu item. I loved the way they created and presented both. The fries were a perfect balance of soft but crisped with the creme drizzle and pickled onions. :* The Shishito slaw was a summery, crunch lightly dressed which has me wanting and requesting more the next visit. They should definitely add that as one of their regular listed sides. My husband had a burger with regular slaw and an old fashioned styled cocktail which he mentioned to be exceptional as well.
