And they do their best to make it feel like a "normal" shop but I find it a little disorganized and feel very overwhelmed and gave up looking at clothes. They have a small variety of furniture downstairs and upstairs they have a small section of housewares and men's clothing. It was really hot on my visit and if I wasn't as warm, I'd probably stay longer and do some real treasure Hunting. But I just wasn't into it that day. But it's a great store to search and hunt.

Megan, one of the associates, was especially friendly and helpful and made the visit much more enjoyable. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back. The biggest issue is that there are no fitting rooms, yet the return policy only allows exchanges instead of refunds. Buying clothing without being able to try it on--and then being stuck with store credit if it doesn't fit--just doesn't work for me. I was also disappointed to learn that Value Village is a for-profit company, unlike Goodwill, which supports nonprofit programs. Knowing that, combined with the fitting room and return policy, makes it hard for me to justify shopping here again. I appreciate Megan's excellent customer service, but these policies were enough that I'll be taking my thrift shopping elsewhere.

Our experience was extremely frustrating. After hearing multiple admonitions about picking up my item after the 45 day consignment period was up,I returned on the 46th day to retrieve it. The person working had no clue how to find my item and seemed overwhelmed by my request. After searching the shop for about 30 minutes and not finding my item, the owner arrived and said "let's see if it was sold". She looked on the computer and discovered it had been sold a month ago. (Why the employee could not have done such a search when I arrived was never explained.). The owner then explained that items were "settled" on the 10th of the month following the sale. So, they have known the item was sold (and my money) for many days but could not bother to call or email me to save me a trip.

I love when a thrift store has a little bit of everything, and I had so much fun browsing through all of the clothing, home decor, dishes, glassware, and unique treasures throughout the store. There were so many things that caught my eye, and the prices were great too! The ladies working were also incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The store had such a warm and homey feeling to it, probably one of the most homey feeling thrift stores I've been to! It felt like the kind of place you could happily spend a long time browsing through and discovering something special. I love finding unique pieces while thrifting, and I'll definitely be back to see what treasures I can find next!

I'd assume they were donated, but the items were flawless. Unfortunately, 95% of what I saw was female or housewares based, meaning little to nothing for me. Prices were not charitable and I can tell you I spent more time trying to find a parking space than I did looking around. Also, unlike other stores, no one greeted me or spoke to me. It was a very impersonal experience and had this been my first experience, it would have also been my last. This zip code is swimming in money, so much might not blink at pricing here, but I need to be able to feel like I'm getting a discount when I thrift and that was not the vibe here.

They were just as excited as I was about the dress!! I do want to note, the pricing here is different than average retail. It's a consignment store, there are sales and changing prices noted on the tags. There are signs posted everywhere at checkout saying they charge 3% for card transactions, plus Kirkland sales tax. I thought they were very reasonable and very honest with their pricing and gave me an itemized receipt! I would definitely recommend this shop for really nice quality vintage pieces. They have a lot of designer vintage as well!

I made the terrible mistake today in thinking that a store that is supposed to be open by 10 AM…read morewould be open at a quarter till 11 AM.... I was stopping by to pickup my unsold consignment items as my contract has ended, and I let them know yesterday that I would stop by sometime today to pick it up, yet when I arrived at 10:45, I was shocked to find the door locked, the lights off, and no sign of employees... I even tried calling several times, and received no answer, and no way to leave a message to let them know I tried to stop by....
