Really great prices on the delicious drinks! I ordered a large matcha with strawberry cloud, and it was probably the biggest one I've had where the matcha still tasted rich and high-quality. The fact that they made the strawberry a cloud also helped it not overpower the matcha flavor. They had an amazing Lemon Pistachio Cranberry Scone. I'm not usually a scone person since they tend to be dry, but this one was perfectly moist and flavorful. Definitely a standout. We also tried the Passion Fruit Cheesecake. The cheesecake filling on its own wasn't my favorite, but it really came together nicely with the passion fruit sauce. The only item I didn't love was the seasonal pumpkin dessert. It was missing that fruity, bright flavor I usually like, so it tasted a bit flat in comparison. Overall, it's a lovely space with plenty of seating, friendly staff, and quick service. I'd definitely come back!

Conveniently located near Cooper's Park. I came on Thanksgiving morning and it was packed, but the line moved quickly. There was plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. I got the avocado toast without cheese. It was a bit underwhelming. I was expecting slices of avocado, but it came out mashed and there wasn't much of it. I wouldn't get this again. I feel like I just ordered the wrong thing. I would be back again to try their delicious looking pastries and sweet treats!

I am SO happy this bakery/coffee shop opened up in the 'hood! It just opened yesterday, April 7. I got to visit today and it is GREAT! If you are familiar with Small Victory, you know how wonderful their breads and pastries are. I'm pleased to report that this new site has all thier expected bells and whistles - and then some! This new site is huge (compared to thier other locations and the old Yaletown site, anyhow). There is a long counter and display case for their food items, and a separate beverage counter (which I think is smart). Don't expect a vibrant interior; rather, the palette is muted and calming. They say they took inspiration from the nearby water and marinas, but to me it seemed rather monochromatic, with watery blues and aquamarine, and no artwork on the walls. I liked the layout, with lots of seating areas (and more to come, when their spacious outdoor patio opens up). And the place is immaculate. Even the huge bathroom was immaculate. Like, hospital-clean. (I hope it all stays that way!). Now for the food... oh, where to begin! (NOTE TO SELF: If you're on a diet, do NOT even walk through these doors! DANGER!). Everything looks bloody AMAZING. I shared with my kid an almond croissant and a pear danish. I also got a sample of a cinnamon croissant "bite" (like donut holes, but made from croissants). OMG. I'm from Montreal so I'm used to high quality croissants and I'm usually disappointed in pastries not from France or QC, but wow, these were wonderful. And all their tarts and cakes looked equally wonderful. They have a huge selection of desserts, but I was most surprised by thier lunch and brunch offerings: so many sandwiches and "power bowls" and soups and, wow, their chicken pot pies looked fabulous, as did thier quiches. Just...wow. Tons of options. And then there are the beverages. You who know me know I love me my Starbucks, but I've been trying to only patronize Canadian places lately and only buy Canadian, so I got me a dirty chai here and, yes, it was different than my usual Starbucks but it was equally good. Just different. I plan on getting used to this drink here and only come here now (sorry Starbucks. It's not personal!). Thier loaves of bread for sale looked amazing, too. I was just a bit disappointed that, with all thier bread options, they don't offer challah. Sad! Lastly, I gotta say, the folks behind the counter here could NOT have been nicer or more knowledgable about the cafe and all its offerings. (David, I'm talking about YOU!). (Natalia, you were great too, as was my drink's barista). Everyone was super friendly and made my whole experience here top-notch. I already know that I'm going to be a regular. Welcome to Yaletown, Small Victory! We are so glad you're here!

Quaint cafe to get some work done. Ordered the croissandwich along with a scone and it was the perfect light bite after a weekend work session. Everything tasted fresh and the croissant was nice and flaky

sad to see small victory move out of their homer street location, it used to be one of my go-to spots and felt like a tucked away gem. the new marinaside café, open for about four months now, is bright, spacious, and beautifully situated with a panoramic view of false creek. inside, a long glass counter showcases an inviting selection of croissants, cream puffs, tarts, and scones. they also offer a brunch and lunch menu daily from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. i had originally come for their oat vanilla coffee slush, but it had already sold out by 2:00 pm. instead, i went with the strawberry cloud matcha ($7.75 + $1.25 for oat milk). the barista hand whisked the matcha and whipped the strawberry foam until it looked like a soft pink cloud. the flavours were subtle, almost too much so, and i suspect my drink may not have been made with oat milk, i'm lactose intolerant, so i usually notice a few hours later. despite the hiccup, i'm glad small victory has found such a lovely new home, and i'll be back to see what else they're serving up.

Small Victory was a huge victory in my book. The pastries and sandwiches and drinks it all was phenomenal. The pastries weren't too sweet and the perfect combination with a matcha latte. The service was kind and quick and we were able to go twice during our trip. I would highly recommend this bakery, breakfast spot to anyone visiting Yaletown.

Cute cafe with wide selection of breakfast items. The hojicha latte however was too sweet and I could barely taste the tea flavor....

first time visiting this location since they relocated in yaletown. Much brighter and spacious location for sure. Tried their espresso macchiato and avocado mascarpone toast. i personally like sliced avocado on avocado toast and the balsamic was a good addition to the avocado toast.

The service was fantastic, a bit pricey for though. The food and coffee were not hot enough.

Overprice , mediocre service and cold coffee. I would give a big zero if they would have it.

I'm a sucker for a good multi-roaster cafe, and Revolver is a fantastic one. They serve up beans from all over, and they do it right, thanks to staff with eyes (and noses) for detail. Barista Soho and I chatted about NYC[1], and he told me La Cabra has a bakery there[2]. Savored a lovely pourover from Toronto[3], served hot. That very same day, I returned and had a decaf espresso that slapped[4]. Ample seating. A fair bit of natural light somehow makes it into the shop. Good for a date, coworking (especially in their next door "Archive" space), catching up with friends AND discovering coffee from around the world. Find this shop in Gastown, a short walk from the SeaBus station. [1] Yes, his name was Soho. Not SoHo. [2] Saved for my next trip to the East Village. [3] Saw Dak on the menu, but I'll be in Amsterdam sooner rather than later... [4] No idea what it was. Besides, the menu'll change before I find out[5]. [5] I love footnotes!

Revolver is what I'd consider a multi-roaster shop with a focus on the coffee first. The bar is made up of high quality small batch grinders, perfect for grinding fresh for each cup, and a long line of pour over setups to give each cup the attention it deserves. Behind the bar you can see an Aiden by Fellows for quick batch brewing quality beans to the standards of the specialty coffee association or quick recipe testing. The menu is predominantly descriptions of the coffees they're currently brewing with a few classic and simple coffee preparations like a latte and a cortado, but nothing too involved because they focus on the coffee itself. I really liked how they separated the coffees by flavor profile so you could key in on the type of beans and roast you prefer. They offered several natural, honey, and anerobic options, which made me happy. My friend isn't a coffee geek like I am, so it was fun to see which he gravitated to and enjoy that alongside my choice, which was totally opposite. The barista side of the shop is long and narrow, with the bar predominating, but there's a great sitting area right next door that I didn't even notice until we were leaving. I'd hoped to buy a bag of beans to take with me but none of the ones we tried were available. Good sign I suppose, but sad for me. Next time!

We ordered the following: Tiramisu Latte Caprese Bite London Fog Apple Cookie Cherry Matcha Tonic Tiramisu Sea Salt Caramel Gelato The Cherry Matcha Tonic was pretty but wasn't too crazy about the flavor. I should have just gone with my original gut instinct and chosen a hot beverage like Hojicha Latte or something like that. I was sort of thirsting for something cooler for a change though, and the Cherry Matcha Tonic was the first "cool" drink that caught my eye so I decided to go for it. Won't do that again. Everything else was good though. The Sea Salt Caramel Gelato was the star of the show! In the store there's a sign beneath their gelato section that says "Canadian Gelato Champion". I believe it after tasting the Sea Salt Caramel! They had Nama Chocolates too. I was tempted to get some but...only so much a person's wallet and waistline can handle at one time. Will try the Nama Chocolate some other time. You can order in person here, or you can place an "Express" order at the Kiosk. We tried both ways of ordering. Ordered at the counter first and then after finished my Cherry Matcha Tonic decided I wanted to try the Sea Salt Gelato so then tried ordering that from the Kiosk. Most of the parking in this area is paid but I lucked out and got a free spot right around the corner from this place!

I could tell even from outside that it's a popular work and study type of coffee shop with your free wifi and outlets. I hope this post doesn't give it away and make it way too crowded for me to find a seat next time. There's a steady flow of people visiting the stores while I was there on a weekday between late afternoon and early evening but there's always extra seat for anyone new looking for a desk to work or chat with friends. A few could be better are the pricing and temperature. They offer free oat milk substitute and -$0.35 for bringing your own cup but no more employee discount. And it was so cold in there, I could see a lot of people kept their winter jackets on, I don't think it's a heating issue but the constant windy seems to suggest the AC is on rather than the heater, oh wells Im out of there now. For that reason, unless I'm bundled up, it'll be a hard sale to be back again! I got a hojicha latte and it as pretty good, perfect sweetness and temperature for my cold with no ice. The barista was super great to work with.
