The sliders were okay. A little messy. The staff could use some training and learn communication skills. Typical burger joint.

This location sucks! The people are horrible. Specifically the emo looking lady at the window. Go to the Willis location so much better.

They have hand spun shakes and hand-dipped Blue Bell ice cream. Great service and suggestions. We have always loved this place and the improvements did not disappoint! Absolute Health Hazard - Served Someone Else's Car Food I…read moreordered dine-in here around 1:00 PM on Father's Day (Order #0052: patty melt, onion rings, sweet potato fries, and a hot dog). While the staff wasn't outwardly rude, the blatant disregard for basic food safety and hygiene was shocking. The cashier accidentally rang my order up as "to-go" instead of "for here." Honest mistake, no big deal. However, they accidentally handed my order to another couple who was picking up a to-go order. That couple walked completely out of the restaurant, took my food into their personal vehicle, and sat in their car with it. The employee realized the mistake, ran out to the parking lot, and retrieved the food from their car. Instead of remaking my meal from scratch, the staff brought the food back into the kitchen, replated it, and served it to my girlfriend and me. This is an absolute health code violation. Once food leaves the building and enters a stranger's vehicle, it is contaminated. We have no idea what happened to that food inside their car. To make matters worse, because it had been sitting in steam-trapped to-go boxes in someone else's car, the sweet potato fries and onion rings were completely soggy when they finally got to our table. Serving contaminated, poorly handled food just to avoid the cost of remaking an order is disgusting and unacceptable. We will not be returning.

My friends and I spent the day on the lake and were looking for spots to hang out after. I've had…read morethis place on my radar for awhile as I am a huge fan of visiting breweries everywhere I go. Come to find out days before our trip that Southern Star has decided to shut down at the end of June. Sad to see one of Texas' oldest breweries closing down. I had to get here before they did because their beers are great. It's right off 45 and easy to find tucked away off a side road. The grounds are beautiful as well as the building itself. The inside taproom isn't large but the building itself is so I'm wondering they have more hangout spaces. They also have a nice deck where a lot of people were hanging out. Customer service was great. Most everyone in our crew got a flight so we could try a few things. Prices here are excellent and won't break the bank. That's what I love most about breweries. I went with the Strawberry Blonde, Southern Brunch (citrus shandy), Texas Lager, and Pit Stop (cherry cider). I really enjoyed them all especially the Southern Brunch. My friends ordered some apps for the table such as fried pickles, fried mushrooms and waffle fries. They came out piping hot and were all tasty. I saw some pizzas leaving the kitchen and they looked excellent. They also had deals on whole cases of beer for 20 bucks. Killer deal that my friend took advantage of. Sad to see this place is closing. Great breweries are a dying breed from what I have read. If these places weren't so far I would support them more. I wish everyone in the company well and hopefully see them come back in the future.

Brewery #386 This…read morewas my 5th and final brewery of the day (no worries, I spaced them out, so my senses were still intact.....I think). Southern Space was down a tree lined road kind of in the woods in a very nice space. I didn't get to see what the outside area was like (If there was one) but I did see they had a large front porch to hang out at. We got here around 8 or 9 pm and I ordered my usual flight. The place was happening; country music was playing which is not to my taste but at least it wasn't quiet. My flight consisted of a Bombshell Blonde, a Bombshell Hefeweizen, Bombshell Smash IPA, and a Valkyrie (DIPA). Why isn't this place just called Bombshell brewing? Anyway. The beers were all decent but nothing that wow'd me. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably have been the Hefe. They had a kitchen onsite serving up burgers, pizzas and all the fried apps that places usually do. Unfortunately, we had already eaten so I can't really report on that.

It normally comes with their house sauce, but I added the house‑made ranch since people on Google were raving about it. If you choose any heat level, it defaults to Nashville style breading; Coop's Classic is reserved for kids meals or no‑heat tenders. They asked if I wanted to swap the fries for something else. I asked what counted as an even exchange, and the only option was coleslaw--which the Double Clucker already comes with--so that made no sense whatsoever. I stuck with the fries. Oddly, the meal doesn't include a drink, so I added an Oreo milkshake since that also had good reviews. The staff was very friendly, and the milkshake came out first and fast. They served it to my table in the empty dining room. Flavor was fine, but it didn't come with the cherry shown in the photos and included in the menu description. Worse yet, it was extremely watery--super runny, not cold, and definitely not "Frosty" as advertised. See my videos. Big disappointment. When the food arrived, the tender itself was great--moist and flavorful. The mild heat level barely registered for me, but the ranch dip was better than the house sauce dip. The coleslaw didn't do it for me. It lacked flavor, and the cabbage pieces were cut way too large. Lastly, the fries. Oh boy. Not refrigerator cold, but definitely cool. Not warm, not hot--just... cool. And ack. Overall, I can only recommend the tenders. They do sell them à la carte for $4 and change, and those are the only thing worth getting that I tried. The sides and the milkshake were just a huge letdown.
