My 1999 Jenn-Air oven decided to randomly turn on the broiler element on Easter so I contacted Smart Appliance, fully expecting a response on Monday. But Fillip responded within 30'! Several times! We "discussed" the problem with my oven, ultimately ending up scheduling a service call for Wednesday. His email diagnosis was correct, and unfortunately, as he identified on Easter, the parts were no longer available. 1 week later, I had a brand-new Kitchen-Aid oven (of my choosing) installed! Fillip and Tim (technician) were GREAT! They were clean, offered lots of explanations, and did a great job of adjusting the oven opening to accommodate the new oven without damaging the cabinets. Philip came to fix it and realized that the problem was only going to get worse. He fixed it for the mean-time but then also helped us find the same model, which was SO great! We use Filipp in our home and in our rental properties. He is just terrific. Our tennent's always compliment his professionalism and speed at which he fixes problems. He always calls or text you with updates on part that have been order. We highly recommend him. We just used him again 3/11/2016 to repair/replace a dishwasher in a rental. He evaluated the cost to the replacement control board and labor. It did not make sense to repair a 10 year old dishwasher as the total parts and labor would account for 35 percent of a new warranted device with a stainless steel tub and better efficiency. I had an issue with Samsung dryer. Smart Appliance were recommended by several folks in our Newton community. They came on time and resolved issue and fixed it in under an hour. (In contrast most other appliance repairmen would not work on a Samsung appliance that is out of warranty and asked us to replace it with a new one). He was very professional and courteous.
