I had a nightmarish electrical problem with my 2016 BMW as a result of the car being reverse jumped. I had to have it towed to North Pointe from another local shop that was unable to diagnose the problem or correct it. Tim assured me that they would figure it out. Adam worked diligently on it and replaced three major parts that were fried. The engine module was also destroyed and the part was no longer available through BMW. I drive for work, so I worry about my car a lot, and my car needs to be seen frequently. I went to North Pointe today with a couple of concerns, but I wasn't sure if they were actually problems or not. Tim took my car for a test drive, examined the things I described and more. He told me the things I was concerned about were not things that needed work done (He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He never does). He did the routine oil change, and put in slightly better quality spark plugs than I had before so I would get better gas mileage. Excellent quality service, as always! read more

On two occasions they told me that something did not need to be fixed, even though they could have easily persuaded me that a repair would be necessary. I have been going to North Pointe Motors, since the last 4 years. I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. After the BMW dealer ripped me real good over some tires, I went seeking for a new mechanic/ repair shop. These guys are not cheap, but they are generally 50% of what I would pay at the dealer. They do quality work, and never play games. They tell you if they can get it done when they can get it done, and they have never disappointed me. Sometimes I wait while my car is being serviced. I have a 2008 BMW 528xi, 6 cylinders and I trust these guys to work on my car. They are a family run business and value how they serve their customers. One caveat, they are not open on weekends, only weekdays. I love to say a good word for folks who deserve it, and they do. Just ask for Adam. read more

Although I intially took my car here because I felt like the Audi dealer was not being forth right and I wanted find an independent and capable repair shop that wasnt' the dealer but serviced foreign cars. My first experience was positive and saved me about $300 over the dealer price. Subsequent visits were a little frustrating because the problem was never fixed the first time and it took repeat visits to get the work completed. I also felt that, as I continued to go there, the prices they charged were comparable to the dealer, but that they used after-market parts (unlike the dealer). This is the down-side but the up-side is I never felt like they tried to sell me work that wasn't really needed and they were forth-right in explained the work. I feel they are honest, but in the end I ended up taking my car back to the dealer. read more
