This is the best repairman I have ever met! I had just gone grocery shopping, when the temperature on the freezer and refrigerator went crazy. Everything was melting. I called early in the morning, and miraculously Luke was able to come by noon. He immediately diagnosed the problem for our Kitchen Aide refrigerator, installed a new part and it's perfect! This was the second time we tried to get our Samsung ice maker repaired. Unfortunately we tried another repair company who obviously didn't know what they were doing the first time. Luke was very knowledgeable about the problem we were having and suggested canceling our original appointment until he had the part he believed to be the problem in hand. This would save us a service call and if it turned out not to be the problem he would send the part back. It did turn out to be the problem and our ice maker is humming away. We have been using Smart Choice Appliances since 2013. Luke, the owner is a skilled technician who comes with every piece of diagnostic equipment and tool to fix any appliance. When we first moved into our home; the previous owner had left an extra refrigerator in the garage that was not working. We asked Luke to take a look at and he was able to bring it back to life for a reasonable price. It still runs like new. Every year we have Smart Choice tune up our washing machine, dishwasher, both refrigerators, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and trash compacter. My first two experiences using this company were good, but the third was not. After waiting a week for an appointment, they called and woke me up very early on the morning of the visit to say they were postponing. This is after the secretary had been adamant that no other times were available that day except for the earliest possible appointment.
